you sure have lots of experience and confidence !!!! thanks for sharing
The experience yes, but I don't know about the confidence part lol. I just love making soap. Cold process, hot process, liquid soap, and I'm even getting into cream soap and melt n pour from scratch :) Soaping for me is very therapeutic. I have bi-polar disorder and keeping myself busy really helps with the roller coaster ride my emotions go through each day. It just really helps me :)
I have the same passion to soap making :) I know what you talking about
I commented on the wrong soap queen. I have watched this video as I am so in love with this soap.
Thank you for taking the time to make these legendary videos. Lots of respect ✊
oh my gosh I love your soap and I cannot believe how smooth you got it beautiful!
Thank you for this video, helped me a lot more to u swear as fluid hot process!
I'm glad you said less is more, it's so true, simplicity is the key.
Discount 3oz of water from lye & water, put 3tbs sugar+3ozWater make a simple syrup. After soap has gone to vasoline stage, add butters stir cool down below 170* add syrup and stir don't need glycerin this makes more fluid soap then add fragrance and hope it doesn't accelerate thicker. I get nice swirls love Neon colors from WSP crafters choice no morphing, use heated sm crocks or other heat safe glass dish, heat them before dividing up soap that way it stays warm till you get done always good to have everything planed out in advance work fast. Milk sours from heat and some suppliers dilute there Foils. ah NG. To have a harder soap add 2tbs stearic acid to oils at beginning completely melt + 2tbs white Kaolin clay when you add lye then stick blend you may need to adjust, this is for a 12 bar loaf recipe at 4.5oz bars Clay helps hold fragrance to soap its good for your skin also. Don't do a bunch of stirring maybe once after stick blend in the lye water clay will make it thick, then again when Volcanoing after that comes vaseline stage the more you stir the sugar water in it will become more fluid make sure it's cooled down some. This works for me Happy Soaping
hi. would you be willing to chat with me? i have loads of questions and i dont understand by reading your post. but i really want to learn more
I am not understanding this comment either. I think her brain is flowing so much that it comes off as if there is a lot of jumping around.
I understood it all. Seems simple enough I'll have to try it.
Hi there,
you can also substitute yogurt instead of the cream. I use the yogurt and it turns to a nice silky batter. I learned that tip from watching "living on a dime"
I watch Valerie too and she has a bottle of fine mist water she sprays over tbe tops of her soaps. I appreciate you sharing your experienced hp soap making.
Those colors combo are so nice!!!
Hey Crystal I use Valerie technic when I made the Father's Day soap she uses several different way to do fluid hot process, I like learning so I like putting different soaper ideas and adding to them all of you give me different inspiration.
Mrs Shealbrook give me extra time to work
I love watching other people make soap, all you guys give me inspiration. I learn so many different things from different people, then I take what I learn and make it my own :)
yeah some of her technique's I already do when making HP soap, but I have learned a few things from her as well.
I forget to say great job!
well thanks doll :)
Beautiful soap Crystal. You always do a great job!

hi love the video, was your crock pot on for it to turn gel phase?, thanks
yes when you make hot process soap you have to have heat, that's what hot process is, you cook the soap.
C-Light Candles & Soap Thanks very much, I'm new at soap making
If I may suggest I have a how to video on cold process soap making just search my name and how to make cold process soap step by step. And may I also suggest that you do research, research research research as much as you can. Learn as much as you can before you try. The more you understand the soap making process the better off you will be. Happy soaping!
i have a question ??? why do you use tapioca starch ???? what does it do and how much did you use
hi Crystal pretty soap... how long did it take for your soap to cure?
how much of a water discount did you use?
Hello Valerie thank you for your video. I love learning from them. May I ask, when adding milk or yoghurt at the end of the cook, doesn't it turn rancid at all in the soap. I want to try this but bit nervous about an off milk smell. 😏 Katherine. X Looking forward to hearing back from you xx
Coconut Dreams AUST my name is Crystal, but no it doesn't go bad. Milk, yogurt, ect..
At this consistency, would it be possible to pipe the top if you wanted to?
that's a good question, I really don't know
pausing video to ask a question. can i make this without sodium lactate?
yes you can, sodium lactate just makes for a harder bar of soap
A what did you do to the fragrance? I think you said you anchored the fragrance with tapioca?
yes i anchor my fo in tapioca starch
C-Light Candles & Soap excuse me but how do you do that exactly?
i just add a tablespoon of starch to my FO
:)
