Yeah bots were hardest in Helldivers 1 too. They just have so much armor and no unarmored points. In the first game the bugs typically all had some unarmored part you could shoot, the illuminate just had no units that were always armored, but the cyborgs were ridiculously aggro and armored.
I’d only played two missions until yesterday, both bugs and it was a good couple weeks ago, I’m happy to announce I shall now be a regular player in the western front
You kill 10 of them but 20 more take their place. No time to reload you toss aside your Machine Gun, kill 20 more with your primary but 10 more charge in. Tossing aside your primary you dodge and weave your way to survival killing the remaining horde with your sidearm. No more ammo, stims, squad, nothing, just your last sidearm reload and a half bar of health. Finally the horde was thwarted by you alone but still no extraction has arrived, you're the last man standing. You run to reposition, possibly even hide until the shuttle arrives. However not more than 10 seconds after you run the Bot's drop once all around you. You're are completely surrounded and persish alone as all goes silent except for the never ending sound of the Automaton's match.
I swear they get smarter and more deadly every update, same with the bugs. Maybe it’s cause a took a break for a little while but these hunters seem to fight with a newfound ferocity.

I was fighting the bots with a couple of randoms and a skull admiral and to tell you if was hell it would be a understatement. Our reinforcements ran out and we started to get picked off one by one, each a heroic last stand trying to complete the objective with multiple hulks & tanks. We waited until we got singular reinforces every couple or more minutes, basically swapping turns who dies and who lives until we manage to complete the final objective, then calling a 500kg bomb on ourselves because we knew we weren't getting out either way. Brilliant game 10/10

Yeah the chicken walker's weak points are in the back. The pilot is completely exposed. The only problem is trying to get behind them when there's a dozen of them. You really have to hit bots in their weak points in order to kill them efficiently.

I have a steam deck that I sometimes play on and it’s able to get usually 27-30 frames in average gameplay but can did to low 20’s during crazy extractions with all the strikes going off. I think thats very playable so if your rig is any stronger than a steam deck I think you’ll be able to play! :)
