Went to school with Donna’s son Danny. And when Donna was in town we went to the same church. My dad was sooooo in love with her and was over the moon when she gave him a autographed picture of herself. She was a very sweet and charmingly nice person!
Had the pleasure of meeting her, once, at an autograph show. Such a sweetheart! It's easy to see how your dad could have had that crush!

Of course, Steven Hill would become MUCH better known starting in 1990 for playing District Attorney Adam Schiff on the original "Law & Order" that he would play through May 2000. He also played the DA in what can be considered the precursor to "Law & Order," the 1986 film "Legal Eagles."

Hill was beloved for playing the DA Schiff in the original "L & O."

Donna Douglas died on January 1, 2015. She wasn't old either because she was only 82 years old which is middle age. Old doesn't start until 90.

In the first season of Mission Impossible Stephen Hill played the role of the leader of the Mission Impossible Group. He was replaced in the second season and beyond by Peter Graves. Stephen Hill is largely forgotten.

For a few decades I thought she was Sharon Tait who was the victim of that misfortune but I live in Australia and the hillbillies disappeared from our network in the seventies .

He is much more associated with playing Adam Schiff (a role though not under that name he actually first played in the 1986 Motion Picture "Legal Eagles") than Dan Briggs.
