    I want to give u a BIG thank you for being a great role model!! My 16 yr.old son has never had a salad until he watched ur channel..now he's eating healthy!!.salad and yogurt , amongst other healthy foods.And he is also wanting to step away from WOW to get outside and exercise. Thank you sooo very much and keep up the great videos :)

    Since ive be watching your videos , ive start again to train myself . to be in good shape and eat healthier . Because since i started playing world of warcraft i was always playing none stop but since im watching ur videos you have motivate me to start to get off and do some exercice and eat good . Now im eating 4 meals in a day , trying to get at 5 so my body can hold it too be a good routine . Thanks alot swifty . keep up the good work

    Most people don't realize that the hardest part with getting in shape is having the determination. You have to want to do it for yourself first and not for anyone else or you will never be able to do it. I have finally reached my goal of 170 lbs and my heaviest was 230lbs.

    I'd really like to thank you Swifty, you inspired me to start exercising and to eat healthy. I was an avid gamer up until April of this year playing EverQuest (Full Time), Wow and Rift (Part Time) along with a few other games. Instead of gaming I exercise more and am eating healthy. Along with that I have been expanding my hobbies instead of gaming all the time. Exercise, the Diet and leading into new hobbies that aren't gaming have helped me to live a happier and healthier life. Thank you!

    dont worry swifty, there's many ways to do side laterals. A little trick that works is when you bring up the weights, tilt the dumbbells downward like you are pouring water. You'll feel the fibers in the side work more, and in return make better gains. Keep up the videos, that comment in the description is awesome btw!

    Hey Swifty, I just want to say how much I enjoy watching videos from both of your channels. I look forward to every new video, they hold about as much entertainment value to me, as anything else. I used to play WoW, from late 2006, up to about 4 months ago (with the ocassional break from the game). Although I no longer get satisfaction from WoW, I still like seeing you do your thing, whether it be arena, BGs, tips & tricks, IRL stuff, whatever. Keep the awesome videos coming!

    After reading that comment, makes me think of myself because i never really liked salads or anything healthy and ive been eating A LOT more yogurt + some salad lol and because you change the bar in a big way. you are the exact opposite of a WoW player sterotype and your awesome. So i think i speak for everyone of your subscribers when i say this, Thank you. thank you for going out of your way to give us videos of your life and personality. will be waiting for more vids :)

    A little diet tip, sometimes hunger is really thirst, it's your body saying "I want water, not food." A lot of people make that mistake.

    I was overweight for most of my life, it took alot of effort to get to where i am now. I've been a healthy weight for about 2 years now, but yeah I also DO enjoy my junk food, it's not hard to gain a few pounds haha. Im 5 foot 8 and weigh 135. I'm fine but I'd be happy to participate in this diet challenge! Thanks for being such an amazing roll model Swifty!

    A comment regarding dieting. There is no ultimate recipe that works for everyone. There are guidelines on what kind of food is good for you, but everyone responds different to different diets. It's also important to not starve yourself over a longer period, as your body will adjust your metabolism (you will burn less calories). That is why its important to have a "cheat-day" once a week, where your calorie-intake is higher. this will trick your body so it won't go into "calorie-save" mode

    Dieting actually doesn't require you to necessarily eat extremely tiny portions such as a yogurt or a salad every few hours. As long as your eating at a CALORIC DEFICIT you will lose weight. So your meal sizes can still be relatively decent sized as long as your eating healthy such as chicken breast with a salad and some yogurt. Eating just a yogurt for your meal can actually be unhealthy cause thats barely ANYTHING.

    Thank you Swifty for your run down on what you eat. But if it isn't to much to ask, it would be nice to have it like written out. Kind of like a guide for what you eat at what times and if you alter it through out the week.

    Swifty here's a tip when using dumbbells, do NOT klank them, it provides a resting period for your muscles and isn't good. What you SHOULD do, is go a little LOWER and then not come up as much to compensate, it's 100x better, give it a try.

    Swifty, I was a competitive weight lifter and when I was doing it I was about 300 pounds, and I had to eat a ton of calories in order to keep up muscle mass and make gains. When I stopped weight lifting competitively I had to cut down on food considerably. And let me tell you it is a chore trying to cut down on caloric intake after you've been used to eating greater than 3000 calories a day. Luckily I've dropped about 60 pounds since that point in my life. :) If I can lose weight anyone can.

    follow a 3 day split
    Monday: Chest, Triceps
    Tuesday: Back, Biceps
    Wednesday: Legs, Shoulders
    Thursday: Chest, Triceps
    Friday: Back, Biceps
    Saturday: Legs, Shoulders
    Sunday: OFF

    I've started to do that with small portions and I've lost 2kg already and I do a little muscle train when I arrive home from work every day and I feel already great.

    I love your videos! But as a personal trainer, your diet made me cry. While it may work for you, (which it obviously does), it does not mean it will work for everybody else.
    Just because a food has zero fat in it does not mean you will not gain weight off it. Weight loss is all about expending more calories than you take in. You could eat fast food for every meal and still lose weight as long as you spent more calories than you ingested.
    It's good to see someone that breaks the stereotype!

    Swifty, I am not one to comment on your personal life, or anything else for that matter, but you can't skip your cardio if you want to loose weight..
    Cardio is the way you loose fat, lifting weight builds up the muscles, but you won't see any results unless you remove the fat that is covering your muscles.
    And you cannot starve yourself! You need to eat 5-6 well balanced meals every day, and those meals must concist of vegetables and lean meats like chicken.

    A tip for lifting any weight above your waist: scissor your legs and bend your knees (one forward and one backward). It dissipates the pressure on your back by flexing your core and controlling the lift.
    Also, I hate running. So I do Plyometrics when I resist running! Huge calorie burn and I feel much better than normal running!

    @Lyeaest well spreading the meals makes sure that he does not enter a state where metabolism saves up fat for the "starving periods" as he would enter if he had, lets say three meals pro day containing the same amount of food as the five.

    For anyone actually considering this diet, be careful, weight loss doesn't necessarily equal fat loss. If you aren't eating enough protein then the actual weight lost will likely be a lot of muscle tissue. Your body needs protein and if you aren't consuming enough your body will look for the most readily available source, muscle tissue and organs. And I'd stay away from that yogurt, lots of carbs and lots of sugar.

    I'm not sure if you read these but my mom is a nutritionist for professional athletes and eating "fat free" is actually worse then eating healthier foods. She recommends to her clients to use balsamic and vinegar instead of dressing and don't forget some fat is necessary to be healthy just make sure it's the better fat (saturated) she also recommends instead of meals if your on a strict diet eat carbs (bananas work) such as a small pasta dish (SMALL) with a yogurt. Hope I helped.

    instead of avoiding all this "fat" / sugar. Just control yourself, don't eat fast food. And be active. Run and exercise! If you gain weight don't be worried.
    Muscle weighs more than fat.

    Actually Swifty, you're spot on about the smaller portions 5 times a day, but, if your going to the gym 3-4 times a week its best to consume 1 gram of protein for every pound of bodyfat, so im 160 pounds, I will eat about 32g of protein for each meal, you also want to consume food in the ratio 40:40:20 protein, carbs, and healthy fats, like tuna etc, also, you should only eat wholewheat bread and pasta,. Last but not least, you shouldn't eat to much tuna or else youll get mercury poisoning.

    I used to be on a similar diet, the only exercise I get is when I go downhill cycling and mountain biking, or doing any extra sports. During a period of about 3 months I lost 18 lbs doing nothing. No exercise, just eating often and small meals. Imbah tacticz

    because u use some delts when doing like rows and stuff and front shoulder when doing bicep curls and then on wednesday u train shoulders and day after u do chest which includes shoulders when u do for exampel bench press and then biceps and back again and then on saturday shoulders again, simple as that, shoulders 6 days in a row.

    Deffinitely good advice if trying to lose weight and gain a little muscle. If your trying to pack on the muscle, your gonna want 5-6 meals a day, and to get your body weight in protein each day.

    Like he said little portion and eat each 2 to 3 hours you stomach will always digesting so he will use fat to burn what you have in your stomach. Its like a furnace its hard to start the fire but when you start it you have to keep the fire up.

    You might also want to consider the preservatives that are put in some of the processed foods, if you are eating those. Those can harm your body in terms of toxicity and in terms of weight gain.

    Big up to your IRL and WoW channel :) You are the only reason as to why I use only use Razer Products! Have the Naga, Nostromo, Megalodon and Destructor mousepad. Besides this you really are a good ambassador for WoW players. You show that you can be amazing at WoW and still have time for IRL stuff which is soooo important! Keep it up!

    Yes its very good to drink water u need like 2.5 liters minimum a day ... but sometimes gotta change ur water its not healthy to drink the same water all the time ;] I dont know what happens if u do it but i have heard this from a lot of old ppl ;]

    Zero fat isn't guaranteed to be a good diet. Other metabolites build fat in the body as well. I would recommend avoiding much of fast carbohydrates (like stuff that contains sugars and sweeteners), saturated fat and salt, since we usually get too much of those in the civilized world.
