Food will you’re right, but your gums will stay healthy if you brush 2x times a day & floss
once a day to remove the plaque. If you don’t remove the plaque then it turns into tartar. If you don’t implement good hygiene then the tarter will make the condition worse. Also the treatment recommended for periodontal disease is generally come back every 6 months for a special type cleaning that is very expensive. Better to prevent this condition with good hygiene
