Whenever this happens in fallout i start aggressively pressing the V.A.T.S button in fear to try to find the enemy
I always tell myself not to do that -- but I do it anyway.
Problem is, it's a glitched radscorpion stuck in the ground somewhere.
And then VATS turns you around and your screen is frozen with a Deathclaw inches away from your face...

For this kind of thing, the worst game for me is Silent Hill. I've only played the first one on PSX, but any time I heavily replay it I can hear the radio static when I'm not playing the game. And since it's a warning sound indicating there's enemies nearby, it puts me on edge... while I'm just standing in my kitchen making pancakes or whatevs. O.o;;

@@mattgraham1983 Sadly, it's precisely what Chronic, Severe Anxiety feels like: Fight-or-Flight kicks in, full gear like you've got a gun in your face at any moment, even when you're totally in a 'safe' place. Could be in bed, driving, chilling in a hammock... then it's on.
