If you compare Nathan’s look against Behrooz and his look against Bonac, they are two different looks, and so are Bonacs. If we use your theory of judging, we might as well hand Derek Mr. Olympia over and not have the competition. Take the time to learn how competitions are judged

Carlos the Brazilian should not have placed 7th...not sure what the judges saw. Also, I don't know how Nathan won when he is holding a lot of water, he was not conditioned at all. This competition was a joke.
Agreed. I think it just came down to William already qualified for the Olympia. They want all the big names to be at the Olympia. Definitely a political decision in my eyes.

You are the only blogger that I know of who really shows all the results and also says something about the athletes who are placed further down, such as Andre or Wolski, while other bloggers always limit themselves to overly detailed comparisons between the top athletes. That is important, but it is by no means everything. Inconsistency? Mhh. Bonac's victory over Tabani was very controversial. I also think that athletes don't always look the same! DeAsha's midsection, for example, looked much better this time than in the last competition.
Great video as always, Zem! As for Béla, he torn his right bicep (I think) just weeks before his 212 Olympia show some 5 years ago. For the left arm, I think it is not an injury, he just always had very-very short bicep muscle and this kind of insertion. I think this was the last show of his career. He is of course a sensation in Hungary, who put the country on the map by qualifying to the Olympia in 2019 (where he unfortunately did not place, probably due to his injured arm, as otherwise he looked way-way sharper than 80% of the field). He almost won an open show some years ago where he placed a controversial third (and was "fan favorite", according to your commentary :P). Luckily for us, Hungarian bodybuilding is thriving and we have some very good guys in CP mainly, like László Király and Richárd Nagy. But I think they would confirm that to some extent, they are standing on the shoulder of a 212 giant, Béla :)

My man Wolski getting some recognition after being screwed, glad to see it and well deserved. One of my favourite up and comming bodybuilders simply amazing. Personaly I would have him in 2nd cuz age is catching up with bonac but it is what it is.
Judges got the first 4 places correct then akl seemed to have gone on a bathroom break at the same time that 5 and 7 were onstage. Carlos was a clear 5th and 5 place was no higher than 7th and realistically should have placed lower than that with that horrible midsection and poor back double!

I see kökeny Bela no lower than 5th place, i cant understand the judges, hes outsized everybody and i think he was very crisp and balanced too. Thanks for the videos!
100% Carlos got robbed. Bonac is not going to make the top 10 at the Olympia, his short torso, wide waist, and compact chest…it’s crazy how well he presents at this level with his structure, somehow his back double still looks top level, but he’s getting by on savvy posing and reputation at this juncture.
Fantastic sport. First spend at least $4-500 a month for at least 10 yrs to reach this level, IF you ever reach this level. Thats $60k without including interest. Then spend $3-4k (depending) to get ready for a show and IF you win you may get $5 -10k depending upon the show 😂
You do know the other avenues to make money off of being successful, you can’t be that dense and we they do it because they love it but you boring people would never understand that 🎉
@@robertcolacino7310 I competed for 10 yrs and I can tell you don't even lift. There's crazy politics in the sport. Always was and still is. Far as making money through 'other avenues' sorry G4P is not for me. There's hardly any money in endorsements IF you get a gig and very few are sponsored by supp companies and even those who do get just enough to sustain.
I feel like they arent judging worth a damn and i feel like nathan definitely didnt deserve the win but its a business and want as many competitors competing at the olympia 😅

Carlos did not get robbed, he did not have a better side shot than Bonac. He was not top 5. He needs more thickness and muscle. It was a good look for him he has upside but he was placed correctly maybe one placing up
