    This was great! Having not used ZBrush before it was nice to see how to design in it. It's a very powerful tool. The whole modeling from “clay” is joust wonderful!

    Amazing, i just found out about this software yesterday. I was just wondering what are the limits of the free version, compared with, let's say, Blender.
    Also, zbrushcore websites seem to be down for several days now?

    🥴 it's a pity that you can't download zbrush my website always says it's down HTTP Status: 404 (not found)😤

    Too bad that this software is too expensive for the non-frequent user. This is when a subscription model does not pay out.

    • @Prusa3D
      @Prusa3D  Před 2 lety

      The one we used is completely free. Full ZBrush is expensive though, that's true. We'd suggest Blender once the user is ready for more advanced sculpting programm. -Mikolas

    When I added the neck, the vertices get all stretched and bumpy looking. How can I fix this?

    Is there a type of Slash tool in ZbrushCore? I don't seem to see it, really weird the free version has stuff the paid version doesn't.

    what version of zbrush is this? some of the parts of interface look unfamiliar

  • @jgiuguigiugigiugugiuuig4050

    Ay, Zbrush? Why not Blender?

      @@warminside-toys We really wanted to use Blender, but it's simply a bit too complex for a complete beginner tutorial. We would spend half of the tutorial with non-sculpting things, just explaining the basic Blender controls and UI. And what we're teaching here is not really tight to the program, it's the sculpting essentials, so it should be helpful even for Blender users too. :) -Mikolas

      @jgiuguigiugigiugugiuuig4050 Před 2 lety +3

      @@Prusa3D okay, but at this point it kinda feels like a myth that blenders ui is overly complex.
      especially if compared to zbrush and considering blenders recently revamped sculpttools.
      so blender feels like a natural choice in an opensource environment.

      @@Prusa3D Blender 3 sculpt mode really is about the same interface as this zbrush. I enjoyed this video it was a lot of fun. You did a great job.
      Who is the artist making it?

    • @Prusa3D
      @Prusa3D  Před 2 lety +1

      I would argue that Blender's UI is clearer compared to ZBbrush. That's why we also didn't use ZBrush in the tutorial. We used ZBrush Core Mini, which is way simpler compared to both of the other programs.
      The artist is Vlado Turek, a super talented sculpor that works here. We forced him to use just mouse and keyboard, which he didn't exactly enjoy though. :D - Mikolas
