If you have green colours on your oc then you use a blue screen. Hope that helps!

Just a lil tip to make the separation easier: you can use free move to adjust at your pace I find it a lil more helpful

I think my only problem was layering the body parts but other than that, thx alot!!❤
If you didnt know, yoy dint have to do the long movement of moving arms and legs away from the body. All u meed to do it click the free move to moves it where every you want. It might be hard to control at first but its really helpful and wuick at miving limbs where you want. I hope this helps!

if you want your head to change faces you’ll have to take a screenshot of your head and like the faces order separately and then when you’re done put those screenshots into CapCut and like make your video and then you’re gonna export the head and crop it as a green screen then put it on your body

I love this tutorial! I just have a question: whenever I do both key frames on each side and try to move the right end, it deletes my starting pose. Do you know how to fix that?
Happened to me to but then I tried putting keyframes before putting the body parts together and it worked for me.❤️

1:24 tip from the software expert in my family, you can also take 1 screenshot and then duplicate it for each part, then crop :) just a little piece of advice so you don’t spend 17.5 hours in gl2 XD
tip: remember to remove the shadow!
This really helped me since I'm trying Alight Motion! However, despite the greenscreen usage my character's parts are still suffering with green outlines...any solutions to this you could offer?
Edit: Nevermind, I found out! Turns out I should've just adjusted the threshold lol...

for mouth movements, you will take screenshots your head with the mouth movements on a green screen, then you will put the video as your head in alight motion, and do the rest as the same

Just asking... What if the character has a skirt and u wanna separate the body from the skirt so the skirt can also move..?
alot of extra steps, copy ur oc, and turn the body parts green, leave the skirt so like it becomes the skirts green screen, and when you take a pic of the body, u do it without the skirt and add the skirt on by yourself with the greenscreen you made hope it helped
If you don’t know the proportions of the Gacha character I recommend taking a screenshot of the Pose you want and Make sure you have the right hand gestures anyways you can use it as a guide so you know the proportions that’s what I do

You can use blue, and on chroma key, select blue screen

hit the color, then the little squeezer dropley symbol, and drag the circle to ur color background, then adjust intensity
in alight mtion im stugling with the layering, i have to delete layers the add some back, then if thats not right i have to delete it again again the put it back... how do you layer your body parts in alight motion like that (sorry is my spelling is bad or if you dont under stand it)

Thank! I have a problem though, sometimes whenever i make the pose the pose will be like that for the entire video and whenever i save the project and come back the animation is weird..do you know how to fix this?
oo hun thats why u need key frames, you place one at the beginning of each body part in the pose you like, then add another blank and then another where you want the pose to change, and change it there, then you add your graphs

When you say pose do you mean individual body part, because there is a pose editor that changes them independently, just search for gl2 pose editor and there should be a tutorial

Effects? like green screen? well in alight motion, if you click on the picture in the bottom right corner there like a firework symbol and those are the effects, and i used green screen to remover the backround 😭 hope this helped!

go to studio mode, click bg, hit color/gradient, make your flat color green with a 100% opacity, and make both grad colors have 0% opacity
