My high school had the same "no jackets around waist" rule, but it was never specified on the rule books... SO whenever a teacher got mad at me I just pointed out that fact and did it SO MUCH all the staff gave up.
That's 👏 how 👏👏 you do👏👏 it👏👏
I agree, my schools don’t have that rule, but I can’t even believe that some schools do this. Like don’t they understand that it’s embarrassing for girl and that it’s important to have a jacket just in case of any “accidents”.
Me too bro
OUR SCHOOL EXPLAINED apparently a lot of people lose their jackets every day so it would stop i agree with this because i lost 3 sweaters...

I remember that in first grade (Russian school, mind you) the school staff decided to give all of the kids that are in same class the same uniform: the one that i was in had a shapeless, sleeveless "dress" for girls/west with the schools name and emblem and only the west for boys and oh, god it was awful. We weren't allowed to wear anything on top of it if it covered the emblem, and im sure that the whole world is aware on how cold it can get in winter in Russia especially.
This held up right until we got to the 5th grade (the point where kids transition into middle school in the same school), when for some reason dress-code disappeared and everyone wore what they wanted to (still being reasonable tho). We were reprimanded by the staff still, but it wasnt all that serious
And now in college they want us to wear formal wear and short hair for men, tied up hair for woman. Some guy was reprimanded right infront of everyone for wearing his long hair up with a makeup head band (the fluffy one with the ears) and asked to take it off. Man, like, we're all 18 and over here, plus we're in a BUILDING college, let my guy have his hair up if he wants to keep it long. It does no harm for him nor the college. Oh and admin staff often looks at me weirdly for my bright blue hair (im a 'manly' woman who likes blue, yup)
“Not everyone looks good with their hairs up Sandra” - I can totally relate because even I don’t look good with my hair up 😅❤😂
Though they have the right of freedom of expression idk?

I’m honestly glad that my school has a really free dress code of just, “don’t show your private parts and don’t have clothes that have the n word on it” (though some kids wear straight up bras to school)
I read on reddit once about someone’s school that made their dress code just, “wear the school’s merch”
I have to wear the uniform everyday lol except casual clothes day!
(YEA I have the same hair rule as her too....)
My school has a uniform(Wich the dress for girls was very uncomfortable. I'm NEVER wearing it again) but we also have a dress code wich yeah it's pretty much what you said like no revealing private parts. But if you said the 'n' word no staff member will know what that means, cause i live in a country where english is not a second or first language it's whole other language. But don't take the risk, you still might get caught. But for some reason we are not allowed to wear ripped jeans. Wich is just dumb. But everything else is allowed you can have crazy hair, make-up, shoes, etc. But also you don't have to wear your unfiform as long as the colour of the clothes is dark that you are wearing. And sort of just prove the school allows hair colours, i have coloured hair in a lavender colour(wich is not as visible but you can still see that it's not bleached) wich is coloured in that sort of way when i have my hair in a braid it makes this spiral type look, wich looks really cool and it's very visible. And no one has said anything about my hair and there are alot of other girls in my class with coloured hair, one of the girls even has galaxy type coloures, and the staff has never said anything. But i still hate school uniforms with a PASSION!
@@BlockPoppy I don't. i have lavender coloured hair streaks that you can see very well when my hair is in a braid(wich is most of the time)and no one has said anything. But i have uniforms, wich they look a bit depressing. But i like dark colours, and you can just not wear them as long as your clothes are dark. But still i hate them with a PASSION!( i swear after i leave this school i will burn that uniform)
at my school we had to wear uniforms but the kids who were gonna graduate that year could wear casual clothes but the girls couldnt wear tank tops because they could see their shoulder but the boys could wear tank tops and that was fine

So as someone who goes to a private school and doesn't have a uniform, I'm very proud of the dress code that we have. We are allowed to wear tank tops (yes even cropped) we are allowed to wear skirts past our knees we can have bob cuts etc. The only thing that I don't like about it is that we are not allowed to wear shirts with Disney or smth like that on it. My friends say that they want uniforms which I think there crazy when they say that💀

1:32
Yah the funniest part 😂😂😂😂
What's funny is that back when I attended high school, girls didn't have a problem with the dress code for the usual reasons was because they would actually make sure they were just as enforced with the boys. If a girl couldn't wear a skirt too short, neither could a boy wear pants too short. And what's more, they made sure they were reasonable. Again, when it came to shorts/skirts, they didn't choose to go by whether or not it was below the knee, but instead, if it was below or above where your fingers can reach down, not too far from your knees. And if it was only slightly or even a bit more above your fingers, they didn't take it too seriously. That kind of reasonable attitude and way of thinking led to very few issues with the dress code in my school. Sorry if this comment was too long! 😂
Omg yeah
My school is legit.
White uniform shirt with a pocket for both boys and girls
For girls. In primary you get green shorts and boys get .... forgot
But for secondary omg I hate this rule
GIRLS HAVE F4NG SKIRTS!! LITERALLY! lucky I got black shorts to wear under my skirt and for boys it's long dark blue shorts.

1:28 My old school I used to go to had a rule for the girls to not keep your hair down, and it had to be tied up. But that was mainly just because my old school had a lot of cases of lice and stuff.

As a person who had to wear the exact same uniform for eight long years, I admit, it's ridiculously painful to live with all of these questionable dress codes
Edit: By the time I graduated me and all of my classmates were practically screaming in joy at how we were finally free from dress code that day
I will have to wear my unfiform for 5 more long years until i get out of middle school.😑
same but make that 10 😭💀
Fr, especially the fact an elementary school cares if you could dye your hair or wear a certain color as a jacket. Same with last year when i went to middle school. This year i transferred and dresscodes arent a thing. Plus some students in the school dont even know what it is 😂
My school has rules for hair too, if your hair touches your collar (I go to a private school with very formal uniform (dress shirts, dress pants/skirt and stockings, ties, black leather/faux-leather shoes, blazers, the only earrings allowed were sleepers or studs, no bracelets (wrist watches allowed), etc) so everyone wore dress shirts so tall-ish collars) then you have to commit to growing it out or cut it and if your hair touched your shoulders it had to be ‘put up and out of your face’, we also weren’t allowed to colour our hair (natural or unnatural no dying your hair), plus we were only allowed navy or burgundy hair ties, headbands, claw clips, etc.
I found out in your other video about glasses that you lived in Turkey which made me so happy because I’m from Turkey! I’m so glad you were able to live in the country I’m from!

For my primary school, they had the same rules for your hair being tied up, but if your hair was not going past your shoulders, they let you have your hair down.
My primary school didn’t allow socks under your ankle and you could only wear blue hair ties and we couldn’t have jumper tied around our waist and we always had to tuck in our shirts
I honestly feel bad for you. My 2 schools weren't very strict, and the only rules either of them had was 'no skirts or shorts above underwear' and no 't-shirts with sexual or violence propaganda'. The only rules in that school I really hated was 'no carrying backpacks around in middle school' (I had multiple classes HALFWAY across the campus, and it was a REAL pain to walk all the way back) and 'no bringing things into the cafeteria'(Which was pretty much the same, I had to run all the way back from the cafeteria, which was on the opposite side of the school, to put my stuff back because the teacher didn't allow it. And the lines at much were SUPER long.)

The more i hear your story, the more I'm convinced that we both attend the same school because of how STUPIDLY strict the dresscode is:
-Limited hair style (Check) (Girls had like 3 and boy had like 2)
-Say no no to dye dye (check)
-Your hair is longer than 3 inches?! TO THE OFFICE YOU GO!! (check)
Luckily they didn't have the jacket rule, because it was constantly sunny most of the year and teachers didn't want the student to all get severe cases of sunburn.
Love the video, I'm excited for future content :))

"She put a jacket on her waist"😂
That’s literally my school too
my school bans those (excluding jewelry i think) but they don't threaten the students if they wore those specific features. just telling them to remove it or smth.
The school I went to didn't allow me to have bangs
we can’t have our hair down, can’t dye our hair(not even natural colors),can’t wear anything on our uniform inside school, can’t have bang(cuz of that i am balding my hair is too heavy to keep and i need to cut my hair cuz of school😢),no makeup, and in case of PE uniforms can’t tie your jacket around your waist can’t even stop wearing your jacker and have to have a white Tshirt and we have to die of heat because of it simply put our school banned everything so good luck
I remember in the middle school, a teacher wants my hair become shorter and shorter because a teacher and the other teachers want to see my short hair looks like.
After my hair cut, my hair looks like a boy's hair. The teachers see my hair short and think I look beautiful, but I hate the teachers want my hair looks like a boy's hair which made me angry or annoyed with them.
I really want my hair longer so I can tied my hair

I love how you put so much effort into your storytelling videos, it's so enjoyable and wholesome and heartfelt in my opinion
Hey guys, a teacher here from Singapore, I did not think it was that bad actually. I would like to address some points here:
1. Ugly uniforms
Uniforms are not to be fancy or pretty but to be practical. Your uniform looked quite like the uniforms we have in Singapore. The fabric is made light-weighted and quick, they are practical, unlike those fancy ones you see online. Not to mention, not having a lot of accessories reduces the time you spend in your room changing. The ones in fancy schools might be hotter for the entire day. Let me know what you think about those in school with that kind of clothing.
2. Hairstyles
Hairstyles are supposed to be practical. Most of the time, girls with long hair would have trouble when their hair was down. And for the boys, bangs that cover their eyes will affect their learning trying to push it away. This also gives a way for how students not to need to think and worry when tying up their hair to try to make it look good.
3. White-coloured uniforms
If you've taken physics you should know that white reflects heat. The colour is commonly used in my country as a uniform base colour as our climate is scorching. Although students might get it dirty, it would usually be washed off easily or if not, there will be still easily accessible uniforms.
4. Jackets
For jackets around the waist, it would mean dirtying it when sitting down, and it would be considered as an accessory as you are not using the jacket for its main purpose. The public actually looks down on students and it will affect a school's reputation. “I don’t care what the public says.” Even so, society judges you in many ways so please be careful.
For girls: There are other ways of hiding your accidents, you can turn your skirt around to the front and use a sling over bag to cover it. Another way is to bring an extra skirt to school near that time.
5. No jewellery, no make-up, no hair dye
This might seem a stretch but you are representing your school in your uniform if you like it or not. Having heavy makeup and unnatural hair dye will make the school look like delinquents go there. “Why aren’t we allowed to express ourselves?” unfortunately, do you think you could express yourself even if you are an adult? I’m a teacher and I still have many strict dress codes to follow. This can impact the school and have their school reputation go down.
To wrap it all up,
Whether you like it or not, you are wearing your school uniform, you are representing the school. Though it might seem tough, HAVE YOU SEEN ASAIN SCHOOLS? I teach my kids and they were only allowed to wear ONE kind of hairstyle which is two braids and even stricter rules. But since we are used to them, it was normal for us.
TL;DR I think that the school rules she mentioned were not dumb, they were preparing you for the future if you work in a company and you must watch what you do and wear since you are representing the school with your uniform.
I just want to add: Yes. you can express yourself but school is for learning and making connections. If you want to express yourself, there are other ways of doing so, be creative and don't let only dress codes hold you back. You can go outside and be free every time a holiday arrives and express yourself somewhere else.
Stay safe and follow rules guys!!
Ohhh
@@Natali-wg2lu ok
Girl u don’t need to put so much effort into these videos we need more of them!
Not gonna lie, that “What are the school staff gonna tell my parents about me wearing a jacket tied around my waist?” They definitely knew how stupid they sounded. 😂🤣💀💀
As a prefect in my school, it's totally relatable to me and what's worse in my school is that we even have the limitations to girls' hair tie options, hair clip options, and even have a specific measuring accessory to measure your hair just in case if it has gone through the rules or not, which is pretty much really unnecessary but a strict rule against the students' hair. I guess our headmaster or whoever made these rules just think that "it's not a fashion show, kid, you're in school."
3:54 I've watched this video so many times but never realized the miraculous ladybug reference there.
I live in the UK and the school I went to also had insane dress codes, our uniform consisted of a white shirt, black pants or skirt, a black blazer and a tie, the teachers would go on a rant if our shirts weren't buttoned up all the way, if our shirts weren't tucked in or if we weren't wearing our blazer or tie (some students would often lose their ties and would have to pay £5 for a new one). When the weather was boiling hot, we still had to wear our black blazers.
Bro I couldn’t agree more.
“TOUCK in YOUR SHERT!”
That blazer was hell for me but not a black one... a WHITE one.

Every School In Turkey/Turkiye:
-Don't let your hair down, if you don't tie your hair up, you will have to tie it with rubber band.
-No colored hair (even it looks natural)
-No make up
-You have to get more than %70 in Turkish Class to pass
-No jewelry
-No phones in school (they will take it away and don't give back until your parent comes to school)
-You can't wear another jacket without wearing your school's jacket (some schools have jackets with their uniforms)
-You can't take a pencilcase that looks like a toy(having too much colors + in most schools)
-There is no test part in exams, only parts that you need to write so you can't randomize your answer
-You have 2 minutes (in middle school), 1 minute(in high school and university) in exams to solve a maths question (it usually has like a one page paragraph)
This is true...
@@Cypher_Fr3ak AND I JUST WOKE UP AND I NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL😭
Going to a Swedish school means literally no dress code, for the most part.
The only thing you have to keep in mind at most schools is that it’s school appropriate, and a lot of the time kids get away with wearing very revealing clothes. They only really care if there are very bad words or something on the clothes, and or if you’re basically naked.
So we get complete free will, we can wear what we want, have our hair as we want and everything else as we want.
(Maybe about 97% of the school dress code in most Swedish schools is literally “do whatever you want.”)
The only time/s (at my school) that people have had problem with hair is when it’s home economics or science lab, then you HAVE to put you’re hair up if it’s long.
No because when I was in school. We had all those rules expect we weren't allowed to dye our hair at all not even another natural color. I remember one girl had really really dark brown hair almost black looking and so she dyed it black and our one teacher noticed the difference and gave her 3 detentions or she has to take it out as that was the punishment for hair dye.
Also another crazy rule is if we got caught on our phone they would take it away and we had to pay to get it back and we had to sit detention as well.
Your videos are beautiful, I'm addicted to your clips 🫣🩷

ISTG THE HAIR RULE! I THINK IT’S IN EVERY SINGLE SKL
wow, didn't think someone could make an entire animation channel with gacha life alone, props to you
My old school had the stupidest rules as well. The uniform was HIDEOUS, and during the summer kids would be sweating so much. It was terrible. No hair dye, no jewelry, certain hair styles, no nail polish (especially for the guys), certain shoe colours, certain sock colours, no sweaters (even school hoodies weren’t allowed) no hats, sweaters weren’t even allowed to be tied around your waist, and that’s all I can think of right now. At the end of the school year, the older grades started breaking and protesting against these rules (I was one of them), because even teachers didn’t agree with the rules. I don’t know if it worked or not, because I left, but hopefully they did.
I love seeing new videos from you, take your time and keep up the great work ❤
this is one of the only gacha channels I actually enjoy. Keep making videos, you're cool 👍
in my school were also not aloud to have our hair down and that does kinda suck, we dont have a rule against a hoodie around the waist but insted we had a rule that we are only aloud to bring black jackets\hoodies like peach black no stripes characters or anything else
My middle/highschool had the strictest dress codes I'd ever witnessed (they were obsessed with their public image)
- If your hair could be tied up it had to ALWAYS be tied up even when outside the school (if in uniform) - because of this, students either had really short hair (that couldn't be tied up) or the generic tied up / braid hair. I tied up my hair so much that my friends could recognise me just from the ponytail...
- Jackets around the waist were a big no but they were an even BIGGER NO when leaving the school. If you were leaving the school at the end of the day and you had your jacket around your waist they would tell you to either wear it properly or put it in your bag
- All shoes had to be black with shoelaces and spotless without any damage (sport shoes were not allowed to be worn unless it was during PE)
- Socks had to be either white, black, or dark blue. Any other colour was not allowed
- Bracelets, rings, and necklaces of any kind were not allowed to be worn unless they weren't visible (you can't really hide anything but the necklace though). I had once tied a ribbon around my hand like a bracelet and while walking through the halls I was immediately told to remove it cause it wasn't allowed and that it would get taken from me if I didn't. (...it was just a plain ribbon)
- If you wore your sports uniform on a non-sports day you would immediately get in trouble
- You had to wear the school jacket, any other jacket was not allowed
- If you came to school with a bag that wasn't the school bag (with school emblem) you'd be in trouble
- The school had very generic trousers for the winter sports uniform that were basically one colour with no indication that it was from that specific school. Even so, if you were caught wearing other trousers you would be in trouble
- If it was winter (meaning girls had to wear black or dark blue pantyhose with their dresses) and for some reason the weather was hot (some type of heatwave going on) we would get in trouble for wearing our summer uniform instead (or/including no pantyhose). I saw girls melting in the sun or getting in trouble many times due to this
- In general if you weren't wearing the FULL correct school uniform you were in trouble
Yikes. I would hate to be at your school.
Japan?
@@ShiningStar5022 nope
Ok if I wasn’t allowed to wear my jacket around my waist,

My mum is so strict of my hair and I don’t like hair codes. Your hair is beautiful no matter what!
My new favorite CZcamsr 🤩🤩
ITS CRAZY HOW YOU CAN MAKE YOUR ANIMATIONS LOOK SO GOOD!! Srsly, a huge inspiration to other GachaTubers :)
And ngl, dress codes are flat out weird in a lot of cases! At my old school, they had us not be allowed to have nails longer than a centimeter ?
2:39 My school doesn’t like that either, old school and the school I’m currently in. Except I’ve worn my jumper in so many ways APART FROM ACTUALLY WEARING IT I thought it was allowed. Until one day they said, either put it on or in your bag. Not tied around your waist
In my country, we don't have uniform, thankfully, I am actually against it, I consider anyone can wear whatever they want and no one got to say anything about it,I have myself my own style and I get really mad when whoever said something inapropriate about it
I can relate to the first hair situation. My school is not strict but will tell you off if you have your hair down. It’s annoying because *I DO NOT LOOK GOOD WITH MY HAIR UP.*
She is the definition of: "Worth the wait😀"
my school also had a weird thing against jackets around people's waists. you either had to be wearing it or it had to be put in your bag if it was tied around your waist than that you would get yelled at a teacher for because we "weren't wearing the uniform correctly"💀
Pls make more vids I love watching you vids LOVE IM OBSESSED WITH YOUR VIDS PLS I BEG
2:47 Omg my school did that to they would actually take it away and you wouldn't get it back like even if you graduated they wouldn't give you back
3:02 is so true and its reminds me of how sometimes they would not let you got to the bathroom if you went in every class you has and they would also say you could not bring you bag into the bathroom incase you has drugs or something like its ok for safety BUT STILL 😭😭😭 when your in your 🔴 and you are too embarrassed to tell them ( me ) you don't know what to say
3:22 This part had me laughing so hard 😂
this vid made me subscribe to you imediately 😂❤
hi I really loved watching your videos your very cool❤
the only creativity we had in my dress codes were that we could wear any earrings or jewelry (as long as it wasnt huge or had profanity/nudity) and we had a small color range of clothes to wear every day.
