Saw a grey "Camh-ray" sedan of this vintage at work the other day. Looked to be in reasonably good nick as well, no rust, no body damage, interior was clean/nice. Paint looked a just wee bit worn but hell these cars were drivers, not garage princesses. Really would love a BRAND NEW V6/5 speed loaded LE version of this wagon for my daily driver. Make mine burgandy/burgandy tweed interior. Or light metallic blue/blue tweed interior. Or forest green/tan tweed interior.

I've got the 1991 sedan V6..and it's an absolute amazing vehicle with only 82,000 original miles.
I'm only here to hear John say Camray lol

Took John until 1990 to stop saying “Cam-ray”. When the Lexus ES came out he finally got it right.

Toyota changed the brakes for 1988 giving it thicker rotors to help with brake fade.
This is the version of the Camry that I could use right now. I've always been a fan of wagons and this one is pretty good. Nice and roomy. I like it.
