Great info Brian, finding a honing machine will be a good addition to your shop. Looking forward to watching you set it up. Thanks for sharing this video.
I have some cleaning to do on the honing machine and am equipping it with a new head and stones. Will show it when it is ready to hone again. Thanks for watching.
Wished I had turned my flywheel, even though it looked and felt good at installation, before putting it back together. Learned a lot with this video! Good luck with honing machine.
@@metalshaperJeep Dangit Shaper, I have some jeep stuff from my 2 willy's that I wish I could walk down the road and trade ya for??? I made a kart for my wife to come up our driveway to the castle with groceries powered by a six volt jeep starter and any old Chevy starter would have done... Extra flat head motor across the road from me and I can't find the time or space to go get it. I have one in the garage, I'll prolly run out of time to rebuild for a stationary mtr... Dang logistics... 2 jeep bodies and dang,,, they're just yard art for me. I sit by them and ponder, "all that"... Who built em, drove em, saved em and why... Like tombstones of my fore fathers in my yard... 5x7 monuments to the folks! Anyway, I love your vids. Sorry bout your friend too. You made him a good box!
Brian can you tell me more about sholdered bolts versus tapered bolts .While back I swaped old l head flywheel and I broke a pressure plate bolt and could not get flywheel off .I drilled out broken bolt under the jeep. That sucked.
Brain im rebuilding my T-90 A-1 for my 1964 CJ5. Watching your video. What type of Sealant you used on the bolts to mate the transmission to transfer case?
Great job
