Pavlo in Lisbon, Portugal BriAnje (Composer Pavlo Simtikidis)

Performed in the iconic Fado House Parreirinha de Alfama This is where Amalia Rodrigues (and many others) performed since 1939. Bruno Costa & Paolo Valentim (owners) were gracious enough to join me (at midnight as their Fado house was closing) in an unrehearsed performance (one take) of a composition of mine. This song was Fado inspired and written in memory of my niece Brittany Mastronardi whom I never had the privilege of meeting. Brianje loosely translates to Angel/Brittany.
