To do a butt kick, simply run in place and bring your heels up towards your buttock with each stride. Make sure to keep your core engaged and your back straight. You can do butt kicks for 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time, and repeat 2 to 3 times.

When I ran track in HS we did the kicks the bad way. We didn't know any better. This was before youtube. Great advice.

Great tip!! My heart hasn't been doing so good so I started exercising. I have to say, its been the hardest thing I ever had to do. Mainly because most people on CZcams don't know how to explain things in detail. The result of that, for me, has been making my heart worse because I end up doing the exercises/workouts incorrectly and I give up quickly.
For butt kicks, straightening your hips up, drive your knees up and hit your booty underneath makes a huge difference😢

Depends on what you’re using butt kicks for. As a running drill, yes. But the first method is a dynamic stretch, so is a warm up. Different purposes.

there is a high pole vault with a tarp over the landing pad....I use to live Homeless at UCSD and was the first one in Central Library and one of the last ones to leave as I use to sit in on classes and pick up UCSD girls...sometimes I would crawl under the tarp at night and sleep and in the morning ...people would be jogging and i would crawl out JUMP on the track and act like I was there to Jog ...run around the track and then off to start my day !
