John O’Shea= another 2 or 3 years of “tonight wasn’t our night” …..James sitting there thinking to himself “ Robbie bleeding Brady is still getting a game,I should be still out there”. ✌️
The players know how I want to play. What does this mean.Players play to their strengths and ability. There lies the issue.
Good to hear from James, not a great speaker but talks sense in fairness - was badly treated by Kenny in the end
It's not impossible that we won't qualify for the next euros or the world cup but it's gonna be an extremly daunting task to qualify for it regardless of who the manager is. But sure Wales suffered through this before, Scotland before euro 2020 suffered through this for years before hand. So it's not impossible that we won't qualify for a major tournement over the next 8-10 years.
4th division football player who is past his sell by date waiting for a call up to play for Republic of Ireland is he having a laugh ?
The Ireland team is a total Embarrassment as is the fact there is no manager as yet John o Shea is totally out of his depth
Portugal was having a warm up last night and had it been a competitive game Ireland would have probably been hammered with a 8-0 result for Portugal
Kenny was slated for drawing with Portugal in a qualifying game a decent manager was sacked
Nobody wants the job it's a farce
James McLean scares me
Nobody does farce like the FAI . Ask Delaney
When players want a manager to get a job then it’s going to be a bad call if he gets it.
I agree. Of course, they're gonna say they want O'Shea. What else are they gonna say? No we don't want him because he's shite.
Republic of Ireland this young guy definitely from northern Ireland his accents looks like he is from northern Ireland thanks so much mother I didn't know much I'm not native Irish man I'm migrants Irish origins of India but living in the republic of Ireland for few years his accent was totally different I just guess he must be from northern Ireland he is good player I like football I'm big fan of football since from childhood school days
The province of Ulster is "Northern Ireland". It has NINE counties, with THREE of them being in the Republic of Ireland. James McClean is from Ulster, and has an Ulster accent.
You couldn't lace Dec rice's dogs boots
He,s right a bunch of amateurs.mistakes galore. From top to bottom.we,v plummeted.
Doubt I will see ROI qualify for a major tournament ever again. John Scales at center half just shows why the Scottish League continues to fail and be ignored by serious football people/pundits and players.
Heard his brother Liam, had a decent season in Scotland also just gone by
Take Your time FAI.
We need a Quality Head Coach.
No Irish born coach has ever got Ireland to a major finals
And the Current crop of League of Ireland coaches are not up to standard at senior international level.
Obviously J Oshea is not a creative attacking coach, he is far too defensive another Stephen Kenny so its vital Ireland appoint a good coach from overseas.
If not then id go for Neil Lennon anyday ahead of OShea.
Martin O'Neill not Irish born?
Lennon has a job now.
@@Hogie1990
Obiviously a far better option than rookie o'shea.

No Republic of Ireland born coach has ever got Ireland to a major finals.
The failure list includes, Meagan, Tuohy, Giles, Hand, Kerr, Staunton, and Kenny.
Incidentally the 4 non Republic born coaches , Charlton, Trap, McCarthy and O'Neill all managed to get us to a major finals, However Republic born coaches are AWFUL, not a single major trophy to show for their efforts when in charge of overseas teams.
Personally John OShea has zero experience at club level and has never coached in even the League of Ireland whereas Lennon has done a good job in Scotland so it's a no brainer to get in Lennon ahead of OShea if FA Ireland fail to land a good coach from the top 5 euro leagues.
For god sake, leave James mcclean where he is, his 34 not 24, let john have a go at it,
Roy keane is more qualified
Would be better if we didn't qualify as would probably be last in competition and get the fair play booby prize for best behaviour and chanting you'll never beat the irish and ole ole ole
Please learn how to defend Ireland, youre embarrassing
That's park the buS and try the long ball....we almost got a goal that way !
