I have watched this video probably about 10 times. Looking at the lyrics written by Miku Kobato. I am reading into the meaning of this song. It's about Band-Maid forming back in 2013. And I am thinking that they have become family and best friends. As a musician of 56 plus years, I have never seen a band so close knit than Band-Maid ever in my life. Brings a tear to my eye every time I watch and listen to Band-Maids music. My favorite band ever. Great reaction... 👍👍🤘🤘🕊️🇺🇸

I believed that you would be able to understand how great BAND-MAID is.
I feel that in this day and age, we must be grateful for the talent that creates such beautiful and powerful songs.
I'm 59 years old and have been listening to music for over 50 years.
I also met some great artists and bands.
There are still many great artists and bands out there.
But please listen to their music carefully.
To me, a hard rock band with five members wearing maid uniforms is the modern-day Beatles.
I don't care if you think I'm crazy about that.

Thank you for your comment my friend! I try to listen to every aspect of the band/artist that I'm watching. Like Eddie says in Eddie and The Cruisers, "Words and music". That's what it's all about! I've been covering a bunch of bands from Japan: Babymetal, Lovebites, Ninjen Isu, and Band Maid. There are many more, it's true! I love all of them. They all bring something new to music while still carrying the torch of what came before! I don't think you are crazy for believing that. That's a big statement! I think The Beatles were a world-wide phenomenon that would be hard to beat. Perhaps time will tell if Band Maid hits or surpasses that pinnacle. Until then, we'll just keep loving them, supporting them and rocking out with them! Keep on rockin' my friend! 🤘❤️🤘

I have always appreciated Band-Maid's musicality. I have to admit that the cutesy maid costumes have put this old libber off a bit, though I do think that it is sarcasm, the cute image juxtaposed against the hard drive rhythm of the music. This song, however, out of those costumes and almost set free, really impressed me. I think it is my favorite, of the songs I have heard from them.
It is such a great song! Those maid outfits is because of a thing in Japan called Maid Cafes. Kind of a theme resturant, I gather. The founder, Miku was working at one when she formed the band so they made that their image. It's a pretty cool schtick, in my opinion. Think Angus Young in his school-boy attire!

Miku Kobato wrote the lyrics to the song as a tribute to her bandmates, her "besties". After ten years together touring the world, these five talented, beautiful young Japanaes women have become more like sisters. Miku is a very underappreciated lyricist. How many lyricists can pen a line like, "The best things are always in your heart," and "I'll be here right next to your heart". They are just so talented!!!!!!

All of the Maids look angelic, especially Kanami, with her gossamer lace wings. Yes, she takes us soaring into the heavens with that solo. In my humble opinion, Band-Maid can take any song, any genre, and give it a sound that is pure Band-Maid!!!!!
