So Sugiura saves Yagami's butt about 5 times (The fall, and 4 separate gunshots, one of which he literally took a bullet for) he also solves his sisters' case by putting the points together for Yagami in the garage. Dude has earned his own game at this point.
I would love to see a Yokohama 99 spin off! I think Sugiura would be super fun to play as since his fighting style is so different from the others
@@judgmentkazzy And if they utilized his parkour skills to make it easier to traverse the world or in combat similar to Uncharted I feel like the game would be super fun to play
@@ricniks4619 I didn't even think of something like that, that would be super interesting and be a nice change of pace from the other games! It would also suit him really well
@@ricniks4619 yeah they could bring back a more fully realized version of the Y4 rooftops with better traversal.
Sugiura saved Yagami 5 times from death & STILL hasn't gotten a thanks for it
My memory might just be failing me on this one but he's never said thank you to Kaito either right and he's done even more for Yagami than anyone else😭

If Yagami really can't come back for whatever reason I'd love for the focus to switch to Yokohama 99 and see them step into their own big case without help.
@@judgmentkazzy @Judgment Kazzy truthfully, Sugiura is easily my favorite. Knowing what we know about him going forward, it's so easy to see where his lies start to fumble and you get suspicious of his intentions. More importantly, 17:52 as well as when Sugiura is asking little questions about Okubo.
And THEN we get to later when the truth is out, and this skilled thief and parkour expert is revealed to be fairly competent in getting what he wants, but he's not at all exempt from emotional outbursts. He actually has them a lot and I love just how *real* that makes him.
Yammering aside, he has so much going for him and I'd love for the studio to take full potential of his character and give him a chance to be more than a person to push the plot forward. Of course thats not all he is, but Yakuza just likes having those side characters who seem to know everything. Meanwhile, I only know obscure lore about video games... 😭
Anyways, if you got more Judgment/Sugiura content, you've got my subscription✨️
@@SapphyreSilvaHan Everything you've said is so true, personally I'm a Kaito stan through and through but Sugiura is definitely in my top 3 for the original JE (and maybe LJ too but it introduces so many good characters but then he got pushed out for Jun in the Kaito files lol) he has some of the most well done depth and development I've ever seen in a video game and his voice actor does a PHENOMENAL job at expressing him and his emotions from his cocky side to when he's vulnerable. Not just that but like you said the foreshadowing for him is the best in the game in my opinion. I wish he would've been in the Kaito files even if for a moment but I really would love to see his character expanded upon in the future! Also thank you so much, I'll be uploading the last cutscene video for Lost Judgment soon and I already have a few prepped and am working on more! I really love Judgment so much and it's so underrated and I want to shine some light on it. I also have a list of characters I wanna do so if there's anybody you want to see from JE or LJ or any ideas just let me know and I'll see if I can make it happen!🖤

Hi, I actually just finished Lost Judgment a few days ago and am currently working on some projects for it! I can't say when they'll be up (finding clips for LJ is harder for some reason lol) but I promise I'm trying, I hope you look forward to it!
