- There are many stars in the UFC but who is the biggest UFC PPV draw in this tier list I will not include Conor McGregor, instead Masvidal, Adesanya, Diaz, Khamzat Chimaev, Colby Covington, Ngannou, Jon Jones, Sean O'Malley, Paddy Pimblett & more, let me know what you guys think below.

Costa sold 700k in his PPV vs Izzy. That sold more than Gaethje vs Khabib. Costa is at least C tier. I'd have him at B. No way Makhachev and Tuivasa are bigger draws than him, lol.

@@meatball2746 I just can't see it, brother. 700k PPVs is a lot. Also, Costa vs Vettori was probably the FN that drew the most views out of interviews and all that stuff. Costa has a lot of shenanigans, but he's huge in Brazil (although ppl hate him here) and quite big in the USA.

Costa x Adensanya 2 is the biggest fight this division could have atm after Adesanya vs Poatan. Which I think it won't happen, because Strickland will decision Alex.

I can confirm Chimaev. I was in attendance at UFC 273 and when I say the entire stadium was on their feet when he walked out it's not exaggerating. That was the first time all event that anyone stood up.

Being from Liverpool I was saying he can't fight ye he's good with the subs but it was when he went in a fight with a injury to his arm he locked the choke in fast few seconds trying to get out the fight the kid took the choke all round paddy couldn't get the squeeze properly with his injury it was a title fight after that round paddy was exhausted an injured he took a beating from that point for 4 rounds in a fight he tried to get out in the first round there's no quit in him he has some crazy subs he improves his striking he's gonna be a problem no fash in the pan

Gaethje, Tony, Nate, Masvidal, Dustin all should be higher than what they've given and Dustin is a bigger draw than Usman without a doubt. Does anyone honestly think Usman vs Leon would do more than Dustin's next fight? Usman only did good PPV numbers because of Masvidal and Colby.

I'm not saying I like this system, but people like Islam and Edwards have been their own worst enemies at campaigning for their title shots because they have boring personalities, people who may not be as good as them will get title shots before them because they bring the numbers. Khabib is doing more for Islam than Islam is doing for himself and Edwards has been silent for who knows how long at this point.
Islam barely speaks english dude. Besides, they're fighters, not promoters. It's the UFC's job to promote them and they barely do it. The company is run like s*** and you are blind if you don't see that. That's why they rely so heavily on one guy (conor) to sell ppvs for them that they will give him anything he wants anytime he wants. The issue isn't boring fighters. Fans love good fights. Period. The issue is the UFC doesn't do nearly enough to promote the best guys on their roster and mostly just cater to guys who already have big personalities or other forms of appeal and draw a lot of attention on their own.

Another reason for the ppv buys going. Down has to be the price increases. The UFC is going for more money per buy as opposed to more buys as people feel like inclined to pay the ever increasing prices.

Hard to put Jon Jones at #1 when the latest generation of fans (new fans within the last 3 years - which is a big percentage of total fans) hardly know anything about him.

Was expecting izzy to be top of A tier but you're right, his recent performances haven't been exciting. Losing his 0 to jan tanked his stock, win against vetorri brought him back up a bit but don't think the fight was too exciting for a casual, aside from a few moments like his head movement against the cage, and escaping the rnc. The 2nd Whittaker fight definitely lowered his stock, being evasive and spamming leg kicks is a good way to win but doesn't sell that well.
Oh yh and the Romero fight lowered his stock alot too

They don’t sell anything. Belal Muhammad and beneil dariush however are the biggest somebody’s in the company. Don’t know how they’re not on here
To sell a lot of PPV, you need casual fans. Miocic and Rob are great fighters but they can easilly go shopping at a grocery store without being swarmed.

@@OnAeeir Selling out a stadium is a great feat but, it doesn't come close to being a PPV star for the UFC. I don't know exactly how much the UFC makes on lets say 50k stadium tickets vs lets say 500k PPV buys. I think PPV buys are much more lucrative because adding more PPV buyers does not incur extra costs. UFC has to make the same costs for a card that draws 1m PPV as it does for a card that draws only 250k PPV buys. PPV's are scalable stadium space is not.
I honestly think Dana f'd up by mentioning streamers at the Conor/Poirier press conference. Numbers have just been significantly lower ever since, and a lot more people realized they didn't have to shell out $80.

Jon Jones sells an average 547,846 across his 13 PPV bouts. Izzy's average is 535,000 across 5 PPV bouts based on when this video was released. Based on today's numbers, Izzy has a higher PPV average at 587,500 over 6 fights.
