T100 "Snowball Lightning" Blizzard Hybrid Sorc Endgame Build / Diablo IV [S2]

Hi everyone, and welcome back to an updated version of my previously showcased Ball Lightning "Soul Maelstrom" build. In this video, I’m excited to share a new Cold-Lightning hybrid build variant named "Snowball Lightning" with you to prepare for the upcoming endgame content, Abattoir of Zir. With two Mastery skills, Ball Lightning and Blizzard, we’ll perma chill, freeze and stun enemies around us while maximizing our damage and survivability. I’ll also show you how to switch things up with the Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop malignant ring and how to unlock the 60% multiplicative damage boost to defeat Uber Lilith, Duriel, the Butcher and sweep through Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeons.

Looks great, gonna try to setup this for my mage in the next days to prepare for zir. It is too offensive right now and has only 4 enchants, rest of slots are uniques

How could you use Lycander spear with this build? If that is possible which aspects would you drop in exchange for the spear?

Puh, I didn't get the chance to try this one yet. I guess you would have to pay attention to mana cost reduction and resource generation. I would probably drop the Accelerating/Control aspects.

Hello, why not elementalist aspect for 100% capped crit chance? Is there a bug where it actually isn't needed?

Hi, I'm unaware of a bug, but you can get 70-80% Critical Hit Chance without it - without depending on your primary resource, which will often be below 100. That's one of the reasons why I didn't use it, besides not having enough space to put it anyway.

Generally on the stat sheet I have 40% ish CC and Esu boots add 15% only if you have 25+25 on boot and amulet. Unless you evade and get the +75% extra (~ +22% CC), reaching 70-80 seems impossible. However, I understand why you picked that route thanks.

You could use Shako and move Disobedience to either Chest or Pants, and then move the Gravitational Aspect from the amulet to the gloves. Should work.

LMAO ! I looked at all his stats and number when he pulled them up and I a literally 50% above every single stat. Minimum and lots more damage and I don’t die. melted heart

Hello, sorry, I should have elaborated more on this. We don't need to put extra points into it because we get it via "Ranks of All Mastery Skills" on our amulet. If that's not there, then yes, at least one point needs to go there to use Blizzard!
