I ask as a fan that all Ray Dorset/Mungo Jerry fans sign the petition for RD/MJ be included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It only takes a minute and is very easy on the computer . I believe he really deserves this honor. Thank you for reading this and hopefully signing the petition.

Always used to play this on the jukebox, in preference to In The Summertime. You got your money's worth. Dancing to it at discos was exhausting!

Don't know about a Movie but Ray Dorset done a TV Show theme song back in the 80's under the band name of "Made in England". Think it only lasted one season but I enjoyed it. "Prospects" it was on the UK TV chanel 4. Set in the London Docklands. Coincidentally an old school friend of my Dad, who used to be an actor played the Prison Psycologist in the final 2 part episode Ken Lodge. Gary Olsen and
Brian Bovell played the two main charatcers.

What a upbeat,happy swingin , jug band sound makes me wanna dance. Liked this B side song ever since it's release in 70. Very good musicians.
Oh, he was a Mighty Man alright, a very appealing young man with stars in his eyes and the talent to go with it.
Why Ray Dorset is not considered one of the most interesting and eccentric rock artists is beyond me. Underrated talent.

Ty for this.Great artist who was very underrated & overlooked by almost everyone.A lot of people only like the "one hit wonder" bands but this gent is a rare exception.Pure blues in his soul.And his smile lets you know he loves what he does.

Yes a great band . It's just a pity that 2 members of the band tried to get the lead singer out of the band,but it backfired on them and the great ray dorset carried on with the mungo name and wrote many more hits and still tours with his band all around the world today.
