This is by far the best version of this song. The bass and lead guitar are amazing and I normally hate organs, but Rod was killing it! I would put the Kiss version as second, and then the Petra version third.
I had a tape with an Argent record back in my school days. Not sure what the album was, but when I grew up, I was looking for that record everywhere. The main problem was, that I couldn't remember band's name or the album title. About a year ago I came across another Argent video and then my search for the biggest influence on my songwriting and arranging skills was over. Then again, I knew that this song was written by Russ Ballard, but up to this day I had no idea, that it was also recorded by Argent. It's one of my favorite songs, TBH. Goes to show, how great their music has always been. Love this song, love the band.

Каждое утро, побудка начиналась, именно с этой песни Mungo Jerry и далее по списку, 2ой LP Greatest Hits, ну и что, копия с винила "Юготон" даже на 9ой ск. звучала великолепно. Все мертвецки спят, после загула, кто первый встал, сразу включает и неважно, что на часах 6.40 Главное, никто не обижался, весело было, молодость...

Interesting to go back and hear this KISS had their version and Petra had an alternat version However. Both KISS and Petra changed up the lyrics but left certain (but different) portions of the verses in their versions. Most people may not be aware that Petra covered this before KISS ever did
