Hello, why do Czech sometimes say "dekuji" and sometimes "dekuju"? Is there any difference, please? Zdrávim vas!
Pokud rozumím správně - "dekuju" je hovorový jazyk, "dekuji" je spisovná čeština.
Přesně tak :) Děkuji is formal and grammatically correct. Děkuju is a spoken version that you can hear all the time. Thanks for the question!

This is not really easy czech, is it?
It is. They speak far slower here than in the interviews with strangers. They also do not use too many uncommon words. I only learn Czech since two months and it will take me probably only a few hours to write all words down which I don't know, read them several times and then repeat the video, till I can understand everything.
Hi Greg, for Super Easy Czech episodes we slow down our speech to about half the usual speed and make sure we articulate very clearly. We also try to use simpler sentences so that even beginners can enjoy the video. 💪 Of course the language itself may seem harder compared to others, but we are sure that it's possible to learn it! ☺️ Thank you for watching 💙
