Reporters like this women Somini that are complex to look like they are intellectually super knowledgeable about the climate, are a big problem. In the end, this conversation between Harari and Vanessa as two enlightened minds, turned out to be a complete attempt by her to equate with them, through long "questions", which in fact could be made very simply short. More time for guests. But no: for her the event is much more important than the point of the event. Therefore, even without shame, she asks Vanessa "what she will do after the conference?", as if the conference is "the most important event for climate change" and not her actions, for which she was invited.

So, the same corperatcracy that owns all the businesses that have created the problems, is the same corperatcracy that are offering the solutions, while we, the people, are blamed for the problems and are expected to pay for it ???

And no government has ever supported those businesses through fascism, right? None made regulations to kill of nuclear tech progress for the past 70 years of environmentalism, leading to 70 more years of ongoing pollution. And the poor want to be rich and are happy to do so by burning stuff for energy.

I believe history should remember the rising concern with the planet's resources as the birth of Humankind's Global Identity, an extension of the pre-existing Humanity Identity, which evolved from hunter gatherer's Tribal Identity, which evolved from Parenting Identity, which evolved from Self Consciousness.
As the relevant group increased in size, so did the territorial and group protection and care concerns.

    Psalm 2:1-6
    21st Century King James Version
2 Why do the heathen rage, and the people devise a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break Their bonds asunder, and cast away Their cords from us.”
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure:
6 “Yet have I set My King upon My holy hill of Zion.”

Enough! It's time that we all take responsibility for what's happening. The Great Drawdown must begin NOW! Reduce your own consumption drastically NOW! Reduce the heat in your house to 16 degrees C (60 F) and heat yourself and not the house; put on layers, wear a hat. read under a warming lamp, etc. Quit buying huge homes and think small. Go vegan or, at least, drastically reduce your meat consumption. Locate local, organic farmers or CSA to buy as much local produce as you can. Buy only second-hand clothing. Stop traveling! Are we all so unconscious that we can't figure out that corporations that pollute get their money from US?

The criterion of success in fixing Climate is the completion of the task in the project for removing the cause of Nature degradation that is GDP economy. In terms of the project managent knowledge base, the project itself doesn't exist only one of 42 documents - its charter or vague vision like "Project Venus" and "TZM". I respect Harari, but even he doesn't understand that. Venessa is just another Greta.

Same boring story...give me money, give me money, give me money. Finance is always squandered and abused. The focus should be on new construction materials, engineers, and building indoor sustainable communities. You dont need billions , you just need to create new models for homes and communities. Rome was not built in a day, and it never would have been built if they waited for a windfall of funding. Just start building, one successful indoor community at a time. Indoor farming may turn out to be the greatest equalizer among nations that ever existed, and it can produce wealth for the countries who master it first.
