My draft gets nervous but doesn't bolt from the predators, I have no idea why. My TWH and Mustang definitely bolt, though.
That would be useful haha

Slow the speed down to 25% at 0:27, see how close the gator came to getting a hold of the horse's front leg. It was almost clamped in the gators jaws, but the horses powerful thrust forward prevented the gator from clamping down. I guess that's we use horsepower to describe the power of an engine :-)
It looks to me like it broke the horses leg at .25 speed. As you watch the horses leg after it happened.
Yeah, the horse seems to hut part of alligator's face then it realease the horse leg
you can hear it biting it.
Good eye! I wondered why the gator flipped up in the air, i'll bet that hurt the horse too

Love that idiot walking right in there at the end, after he just witnessed how that stallion trampled an alligator, probably even fully aware that he could end up as the stallions next target.
seriously, that dude is lucky the stallion didnt charge his ass.
Straight doofus🤣
This happened outside of the town I live in. The horses are wild and live on the prairie. This is a stallion trying to protect his mares that you can see behind him. The alligators sun themselves on the bank during the day, but they have been known to take a foal if they get the opportunity, so it's not out of the ordinary to see aggression between the two species.
thanks for the input. so much speculation good to see someone with some actual experience talking
Oh shit the horse a pimp
Payne's Prairie outside of Gainesville FL. It's a nature preserve situated on a very old ranch. The area has alligators, wild cattle, wild horses, buffalo, and about a zillion alligators.

Idk if that was a pun or...
The stallion was defending his herd, he had foals and mares to protect.
I frequent this park and know this stallion. He is notoriously a jerk and will chase people to the boardwalk at La Chua (this trail) or to the fenced area at Cones Dike... despite someone being at a safe distance and not paying attention to him. The alligator posed no danger whatsoever and was sunbathing.
Defending his harem like a real man!
@@estherdimaggio9156 why do I get the feeling Esther is really the alligator?
This is what stallions do. Stallions are jerks. That is their nature. It’s large amounts of testosterone. I’ve had to handle thoroughbred stallions and they were all ass holes. You can train and condition them to not be ass holes but you have to start at an early age. Wild stallions are just going to be jerks. I bet that alligator never gets close to a horse again.
@@RaeRaesRaveReviews The horse approached the alligator, not the inverse. The alligator wouldn't have had time to get away. They move very slowly on flat land from a resting position aside from lunges. Anyone who's championing the horse or seeing him as the hero of the story has it all wrong.
I like how horse was just casually grazing before it attacked then just goes back to grazing once it’s over and looks completely unconcerned with the gator.
The horse lost, watch in slow motion, the gator bites his leg.
The horse stayed pretty far away from the alligator after his leg almost got bitten off.
"Do you think he's ok?" Yes, completely fine just some internal bleeding in the abdomen and head from getting curbed stomped by a 500kg stallion.
was talking about the horse
"i just feel bad for this gator, my god, do you think he is okay?"
Whoever the vapid moonbat was who said, "Leave him alone.", should have
had her head kicked in after he was done with the gator.
That's his natural inclination, to protect the rest of the herd. His reaction to
the proximity of the gator makes it clear he's experienced prior, very
unpleasant behaviors from them.

lol great comment dude!
This is a wild stallion. Your horse is a domesticated gelding or mare (no testicles literally)
@@41kils They have testicles. Hell, they proudly talked about how the horse's balls shrink when it's cold in the game.
@@davidstinger1134 That's actually an awesome detail, but it would be more accurate if the horses were geldings. Humans rarely ride stallions since the beginning of time. 95% of all male horses are gelded. Training stallions to do anything but gallop straight is significantly more difficult compared to geldings and mares.
Real horses do do that. Try being dumped irl because of a plastic bag, a log that looked like it might do something sus, or the lanky weird ass llamas approaching the fence to say hello

I don't think the gator was trying to make a meal out of that stallion, that's why he let go. He had the horses left leg in his mouth for a second. Just a defending warning bite.
@@lindaraterink6451 yeah and the alligator really can’t make a meal out of the horse unless they are in water. Yes it can wound the horse greatly by biting its leg but one single stomp that doesn’t even use all of the horse’s energy has enough horsepower to kill most animals, including the alligator. The horse was not lucky, he can kill the alligator with a single kick. The alligator was smart to back away.

speebyda yea probs
You know that alligator was near his herd and he was not comfortable with him there so he told him to move, didnt kill the alligator so good job horse
PETA isn't enough. This needs to go all the way to the United Nations. These horses are out of control and must be stopped.
The alligator grabbed the horse's foot, causing it to rise into the air from the grip, but was then kicked by the other foot and probably is not injured, nor the horse. But the horse didn't come back for more. A stalemate
The gator missed. If the gator got him then the horses bone would have broken
No way! That alligator got seriously injured. Did you see how he crawled away? They are able to get up on all fours and run. He couldn't even pick his head up. I think that gator suffered broken bones and possibly internal bleeding. He probably died that same day or within a few days at most.
@@andreykashin1729 I had to rewatch it a few times, as the end of the gator's snout looks off after the scuffle. The horse might have broken the gator's jaw during the bite.
A horse can strike like a gunshot with those back legs, and they strike full force regardless of the target's distance. Also, the full weight of a horse (this healthy guy must be around 900lbs) coming down on a single hoof would be akin to getting shot with a cannon ball. We're talking thousands of pounds of force.
I certainly worry about the bite, as bacteria could take down even a healthy boy like that, but if the gator didn't break the skin then the horse is off scott free for sure.
@@andreykashin1729 yep but the horse didn't even touch the gator, when the gator bites it the horse tried to kick him but the gator loose the grip,

The horse tries to stomp on his head but the alligator actually bites down on the horses front 2 legs, and as the horse gallops back up that lifts the alligator off the ground and then he releases the horse from his jaws. If anything, that horse had his legs shredded.

For everyone wondering:
The horse is most likely the leader of the herd, or dominant gelding/stallion, he moved there because he saw the alligator as a threat and watched it for a short time. The alligator was either very hungry or young and stupid.
Because that horse was going to attack it for being so close to the herd and actually warned it. When the alligator didn't back off he attacked it and it was extremely lucky considering how badly it could’ve been injured.
“Yeah send me that” that voice I can’t 😂
Okay so for anyone who was confused on why the horse attacked the gator here is what is happening:
The horses are wild and the horse who attacked the gator is the lead stallion meaning he would protect the herd even if the gator didn’t do anything to the herd by all means since he wanted to make sure his mares and offspring is safe if that makes any sense
