14:03 Holy... I just levitated
OK I'm sold 😍
What an incredible synth! I'm equipping my new studio as we speak and would like a 'mini' synth to sit on top of my Arturia keylab 88. This one seems to tick all the boxes for me, the only other option I can see is the Hydrasynth Explorer but the Minifreak seems to have that extra star quality when it comes to the sounds. 😎
Should get mine tomorrow!
My girlfriend got me a MiniFreak for Christmas. So good!
Would love a description or walkthrough of that opening patch. It sounds quite authentic.
From Mylar: “It’s just two basic waves, ever slightly detuned, ever so slight LFO modulation of both pitches, and map cutoff and vibrato to aftertouch ideally! Just simple sounds with the right settings - of course LOADS of reverb is required”
13:26 Madly I’m in love with this patch which sounds like the iOS app “Zynthesiser”. Can you help on how to create it? Thanks
Could you make a new video only to explain how to program the opening patch? It's awesome. Thanks!!
Sounds better than the cherry audio gx-80!!
26:20 If you like this sound, there is a really good and highly underatted muscisian who goes by the name Casino Vs Japan that does whole albums in this style. Really good stuff!
I wonder if MicroFreak or MiniFreak would work best with my digitakt and digitone key and syntakt witch would be best mini or micro freak for my elektron setup ..Also is Minifreak standalone and microfreak
Only one more week to go till I have mine.
Can anyone give me the exact settings for the Blade Runner theme they used in the intro for this video.
Which preset is the Blade Runner one at the beginning?
From Mylar: “It’s a custom one I made - see other comment for some tips!”
@@Gear4musicSynthsTechdang bro. Post that preset for download!!
Thanks for the video and the intro song, please can you say me the title of the original song im searching but I cant find
Blade Runner - Opening Titles
Blade Runner soundtrack by Vangelis. It’s law to know this ❤
You guys are making it really hard not to buy one of these. 😂
You two have read my mind. 2 MiniFreaks,,, that is 12 voices at 1200 USD... plus the benefit of two separate sequencers... What's not to like???
I'm wondering why is there no multitembral features. It could make it very popular despite not a very good keyboard.
P.S. my expectation for the Mini- was the same PCB type of keys. These are more like from Keystep (not very good). The PCB-keys are very original and fun to play!
Remember you get a free plugin of the MiniFreak with it, so you can, in effect, instantiate multiple copies in your DAW.
@@Gear4musicSynthsTech it's not the analog synth when it's "in the form" of the plugin (not analog filters), right?
@@KiR_3d Yes that's right, it's a digital recreation of an analog filter in the plugin, but of course Arturia are very very good at making those! We've directly compared patches made on the synth with the plugin and it sounds very similar indeed.
@@Gear4musicSynthsTech The only 99% similar result of the VST to synth comparison I've heard is U-he Re-Pro.

I need that Xynthesizr patch, please @mylarmelodies :)
Or actually all of his patches !
