Always shocking to see such bad services this far out, but obviously that's down to standards going up, plus communication comes to the forefront as team Red and Blue have to work together for the first time. These services were probably a big reason why we have 5 Black Jackets instead of 6 for so long now.

I remember being shocked that Lacey was eliminated mid-service just one week after J since I thought she would be eliminated normally for her poor attitude and excuses.
I’m so glad I found this channel because aside from Survivor and Big Brother, HK is the other reality competition I’m ferally obsessed with and finally seeing consistent commentary on it from a YT channel like Survivor and BB is so much fun
In the case of season 15’s first black challenge, it’s a million times worst when Chef Ramsay’s quietly talking to you instead of yelling at you. Cause that means he’s just given up on you

Another honorable mention is the first black jacket service in S18 because of how poor Mia, Bret, and Heather performed that night and it's really bad for Heather as before then she was arguably the 2nd best chef of the season. Also, everyone made a mistake that night except for Ariel.
youre saying heather was the 2nd best chef of the season, thats BS she was clearly the weakest of the black jackets, mia was the 2nd best chef behind only ariel and overall the best cook. also i wouldnt say mia or bret performed poorly per se that night, but not perfectly either, while heather did perform poorly.
@@Hitheremate1 yes i didnt say she was perfect but other than that mia didnt really have mistakes while heather struggled from the start, and had her station taken over by motto. what do you mean by those grades, if you mean their overall perfomance during the competition, then mia is A- or B and a half overall while heather is lover B or c at most.
FINALLY! I pointed out in another HK video (not sure if it was this channel) that these worst HK videos almost never show Matt. He pity his way to the Black Jackets that season. The guy is close to Raj level of incompetence.

Yeah, #1 was a foregone conclusion. I remember watching a video of Hell's Kitchen Highlights for Season 8 and 9, and that team getting kicked out always stuck with me b/c the music just died down when GR ejected the team. I mean, there was music still *there*, but fair more toned down than usual, just letting the weight of this moment sink in, and how much the team sunk their whole kitchen. Also, IDC whether Trev was joking or not, never say that any chef should have a bullet put in their head.

Because at that time, Chef Ramsay asked Petrozza who should be going on home on the team and Petrozza said Louross and that's the only time a contestant eliminate another contestant. So, Petrozza was responsible for thar.
Hey FlynnMasters I got a video idea: Hells Kitchen seasons ranked by the talent of the contestants. Obviously we know that S14 is easily the number one spot but I'd be interested to see how you'd rank the other seasons in terms of overall talent.
@@chazztreat8317 Oh yeah without a doubt. The very best chefs that season (Russell, Nona and Jillian) likely don't even make it to the black jackets on some of the more talented seasons like 14 or 19
I think minus the final 3, all black jacket services during season 5 were terrible. Mostly due to Ben, Andrea, and Robert and Giovanni on the final 6. Paula and Danny were honestly the only ones who had good black jacket services
Paula and Danny were the proper choices. One could make the argument Paula was better overall. Almost like Meghan in season 14, she seemed the most poised and professional that season. Same with LaTasha from season 13.
Okay Josh and spaghetti deserve to be up there, seasons 8 and 16 no doubt as for season 4 all I can say is Louross deserve the black jacket more than Jen and Matt
I hate to do this to Louross, he's great, but I agree with what Gordon did, he sadly was on a downhill spiral, Matt wasn't gonna get eliminated despite being on the winning team there and Jen, whilst basically no one likes her she didn't have a terrible dinner service
Video idea: How about a top 10 and worst 10 personalities on Hell's Kitchen. It wouldn't matter what their cooking abilities are, just about them as a person.
It would be great to find out if there was ever a time when Chef Ramsay aborted a season due to poor quality of contestants, as it looked like he was going to in Season 5.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again……the fact Matt got a black jacket…..I have no words. I’m a senior RN,and I’m really patient with new staff/new RN’s. ….but Matt reminds me of a really bad one I had a few years ago. She was love;y, but just didn’t get it. It got so bad that,at 5 months, I went to my boss in tears and said either she goes or I do.
Despite not being the best chef, I still feel kinda bad for Trev. Not only was he experiencing chaos from the teams he was on but then he had to deal with Sabrina, Raj, and Russel. In fact, I kinda feel bad for the rest of the blue team cus they must be good people but not so good chefs. Trev tho, poor guy barely experienced challenge rewards from the two seasons he was on xd
Trust me, whenever I feel sick, I'll either keep it to myself and bare through it or let someone know before dinner service. Matt simply complained about his migraine throughout service and was overall a total jerk to the others and Chef Ramsay. I still don't get why he got to be a Black Jacket. He didn't deserve it.
I wonder what the quickest shut down service was lol. Bcus I remember some episodes it seemed like it didn't take long. I think even on one episode he shut it down before the first table got served lol. This show cracks me up
While I consider season 7 my introduction to Hell’s Kitchen, I recall seeing a brief bit of the season 5 service and remembering that I thought chef Ramsay was angry about a biscuit being undercooked
This video drove home a point for me: HK Ramsay is my least favorite Ramsay. His screaming, name calling, and mean-spirited bullying is either played up for TV, or he’d have restaurants would get shut down by lawsuits. I believe the frustration is legit, but I like him so much better when he unleashes that like a slightly unhinged adult and not like a cartoon character. Harsh, caring and fair is my favorite Ramsay, not overacting Ramsay.

Agree to the fact that season 8 was not only the worst season (at least from 1 to 8) but the worst black jackets in the history of HK, but to be fair Gale and Sabrina had the biggest downfall cause they were good in the first half of the season, both of them; and even if Russel deserve to be covered in piss we can all agree he was the ONLY good cook on that season. For the rest you are absolutely right, Trev is garbage, Jillian did so mediocre the entire season and Nona is absolutely the worst winner ever (from season 1 to 8 at least)
First black jacket dinner service of season 8 was so bad that the entire team was kick out, include Nona despite being the only chef did not make mistake(She was at tableside) All chef at the kitchen(Except Nona) make error and disorganized from team And don’t forget season 9 but Flynn Master provide incorrect information. After he kick out entire team, he told Scott and Andi to complete dinner service, and also tell Andi to told Paul and Will to return to the kitchen as Ramsay felt they the only good chef had good performance.

Imagine you are running a business, thinking of millions of repaying loans and working almost 24/7. You made it big time and after many years, stuck with a problem. All your best chefs leave to open their own outlets. Now, as society changes, you struggled to find a talented, responsible chef for replacement. So, you decided to cover your losses by televising the interview process to get your chefs. You have travel overseas, stay far from family and working even longer hours to keep your business empire afloat. Deep inside I can understand why Gordon Ramsey loses his mind when he sees the pool of ‘talent’ available right now.
I am a defender of Sabrina on Season 8. I think she would have been bottom half on most seasons and probably should have gone home early on. At the same time, I think she showed the most improvement and also think that she was gaining confidence and consistency prior to her final service. “ There once was a boy named Matt, whose kitchen performance fell flat. He was far from neat, miserable on meat, so I kicked him out and that’s that.”
“Van may be a poissoner, but his performance on fish was anything but Van-tastic."
“ Sabrina was quite dramatic in her final plea. But I’m not looking for a drama queen, I’m looking for a head chef.”
“I’m not lookin for a drama queen”
Keeps Elise until top 3 😂😂😂😂
@@chelscara The real difference is Elise can cook despite being a loud mouth while Sabrina is still young (As she keeps make excuse about it many times) and not have much experience in the kitchen and she doesn't have much leadership like Elise has. Elise even fights for Paul and keep her rivalry aside with Carrie while Sabrina even is dumbfounded to see Russell's attitude.
I already mentioned it before at "Funniest Ejections" Video on this channel but it's still so funny to see how Gordon hold Matt's hand like a concern mother to protect her children from danger at 9:54
Gordon tried to tell Matt gently to go lie down after taking him by the hand, then Gordon, but Matt couldn’t take the nicety and had to get yelled at instead. Lol.
Gordon: "Don't cook more pasta"
Josh: "Cook more pasta"
Bruh
The fact the Black Jackets performed as badly as they did in Season 8 just showed the lack of talent in that season. It was hella entertaining to watch the trainwreck tho! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The worst chef in the history of Hell's Kitchen (Raj) lasting 3 episodes that season was a joke, even if he was really entertaining.
How is it possible that all of them sucked? It’s crazy
@@Loraszno Raj is not the WORST chef ever. He was not good but he wasn't the worst. He's just the most memorable of the worst chefs ever making him thought of as the worst chef. He doing karate when drunk for example, doesn't change how he cooked
@@Loraszno it bothers me when people imply that Raj was worse than Curtis, let alone Lisa. Raj was better than both.
@@Andrewtops781 Gordon put Curtis on the sushi station because he knew he would struggle at it after performing poorly on the challenge. It was clearly a calculated decision to keep Raj around because he was entertaining for tv.
Gordon: We cook spaghetti to order!
Josh: We cook two spaghetti orders.
Gail was not as bad as you said she was. Up until the Top 7 when her 3-episode collapse happened, she was the front-runner to win.
Gail losing her confidence through Black Jacket round. Poor her, probably Sabrina's presence intimidated her and made her lost.
The worst black jackets can speak for themselves. They know who they are.
Always shocking to see such bad services this far out, but obviously that's down to standards going up, plus communication comes to the forefront as team Red and Blue have to work together for the first time. These services were probably a big reason why we have 5 Black Jackets instead of 6 for so long now.
Ain't no way he got Andy to cook the scallops. 💀
I may not be a Hells Kitchen fan but I'm definitely a Flynn Masters fan by now
I've never seen a second of the show but I've become hooked to your vids, they're succinct, well edited, and extremely enjoyable
Thanks so much Erlin!!!
I second your comment.
Season 5 will forever be my favorite season. From the dickface to the “You’re robbing people!!” and Lacey getting kicked out of the game during service.
Love to hear that!
You might aswell put the first black jacket service of Season 21 on their after last night
It was a total train wreck alright
The fact that season 8 is of course in first place is the exact reason why season 8 was such great television for me
I have watched the first few episodes of that season (with Raj) probably 10 times. It is absolutely hilarious.
"Aren't you allergic to shell fish?"
"Oh yeah thanks chef.."
In the case of season 15’s first black challenge, it’s a million times worst when Chef Ramsay’s quietly talking to you instead of yelling at you. Cause that means he’s just given up on you
I have a feeling that he wanted to call it quits on 15 afterwards.
I'm so glad you're REAL. There were a couple channels I was watching that I realized was either an AI narrator, or an AI-generated script with a narrator who didn't care to fact-check anything.
Josh from Season 3 is probably the worst black jacket in history ngl
Another honorable mention is the first black jacket service in S18 because of how poor Mia, Bret, and Heather performed that night and it's really bad for Heather as before then she was arguably the 2nd best chef of the season. Also, everyone made a mistake that night except for Ariel.
Motto didn’t make any mistakes. And even if he did, it was cause Heather and Mia were giving him completely different times and numbers all at once
youre saying heather was the 2nd best chef of the season, thats BS she was clearly the weakest of the black jackets, mia was the 2nd best chef behind only ariel and overall the best cook. also i wouldnt say mia or bret performed poorly per se that night, but not perfectly either, while heather did perform poorly.
@@davidanthonymercado7064 The different times thing is a mistake because it screws up communication
@@rikusalenius4265 Mia is B- max while Heather is A-
@@Hitheremate1 yes i didnt say she was perfect but other than that mia didnt really have mistakes while heather struggled from the start, and had her station taken over by motto. what do you mean by those grades, if you mean their overall perfomance during the competition, then mia is A- or B and a half overall while heather is lover B or c at most.
FINALLY!
I pointed out in another HK video (not sure if it was this channel) that these worst HK videos almost never show Matt. He pity his way to the Black Jackets that season. The guy is close to Raj level of incompetence.
Raj made an okay signature dish. Matt made the worst signature dish in the show's history.
Last Thursday’s Black Jacket Dinner Service has now joined the list
I would like to see a video on what happened to the winners of each Hell's Kitchen after the show. But not just a top five, but just an overview from each season.
I think an honorable mention could be season 7's final 6 service, with Ed and Benjamin sinking the kitchen and getting kicked out.
This is HK. What Ttev said was far from the worst thing you've ever heard especially when you're stressed from Sabrina's attitude
@@anonymousperson3023 nah, that's a death threat right there, not here for that

@@anonymousperson3023 And wishing death on people is OK because...?
I don't care that he didn't say he'd do it himself, a statement like that is such a blatant disregard for human life, and it is hard, if not impossible for me to respect someone who even utters that scenario.
I love how Ramsey will tell someone to leave the kitchen, get their attention to tell them to get out again, and then yell at the same person from down the hall to, again, leave.
It's one thing when Gordon yells at them to get out, it's a whole other thing when HE has to get out because he cant take it anymore. Show or not I'm sure he has been to that point several times
I love watching a Flynn Masters video while eating breakfast on the weekend!
Haha gotta love that sunday morning upload time!
Who's here after the Season 21 final 5 service?
Oof that one’s GOTTA be up there now
Aaaaaaand this video is outdated. That was fast.
Well… that barely lasted💀
Honestly I just found your channel this week and already watched almost all your HK videos. So many underrated clips
Haha that's awesome!
S21E13 would like to have a word as well. 😂I've never seen a black jacket service with less food leaving the kitchen.
Still to this day I have no idea how Matt made it to the black jackets, he had like 1 good service lol. Louross should’ve definitely made it over him and honestly I’m surprised Matt even managed to make it into the top 10 let alone the black jackets.
Lou Ross declined as the show went on while Matt got “better” i say that because he didn’t improve he just had a decent service.
Because at that time, Chef Ramsay asked Petrozza who should be going on home on the team and Petrozza said Louross and that's the only time a contestant eliminate another contestant. So, Petrozza was responsible for thar.
Finding this channel made me remember how much I love Hell's Kitchen after not watching for a few years
That's so awesome!
Hey FlynnMasters I got a video idea: Hells Kitchen seasons ranked by the talent of the contestants. Obviously we know that S14 is easily the number one spot but I'd be interested to see how you'd rank the other seasons in terms of overall talent.
8 is at the bottom
Planning on doing that one of these days!
Season 19 is arguably at the top.
@@chazztreat8317 Oh yeah without a doubt. The very best chefs that season (Russell, Nona and Jillian) likely don't even make it to the black jackets on some of the more talented seasons like 14 or 19
@@chairmanlmao4482 early boots at worst
I think minus the final 3, all black jacket services during season 5 were terrible. Mostly due to Ben, Andrea, and Robert and Giovanni on the final 6.
Paula and Danny were honestly the only ones who had good black jacket services
That’s season five not six.
Six is the one with Dave and Kevin
Paula and Danny were the proper choices. One could make the argument Paula was better overall. Almost like Meghan in season 14, she seemed the most poised and professional that season. Same with LaTasha from season 13.
@@seanswinton6242 And fun fact:
LaTasha was working with Paula before she won Season 13
How did Matt( who had only one good service the entire time) end up with a black jacket?
You know? It's questions like those that don't let me sleep.
Better tv I guess
@@thepancakereviewer I can't find a way for people to like seeing Matt's face.
Josh getting black jacket was still worse than this
Red Team doing terrible beforehand, and then carried by the red team when swapped
"oh you're right" gets me every time
It would be great to find out if there was ever a time when Chef Ramsay aborted a season due to poor quality of contestants, as it looked like he was going to in Season 5.
Ouch
I think after how badly 15 performed, that season should have been aborted then and there.
Well Season 5 had the saving grace of Danny
I completely disagree with the way Sous Chef Scott spoke with Trev. In what way was Scott's outburst justified or constructive?
And then there's Season 18 Trev who is still not as good as he was on Season 8 and got bullied by the rookies especially by Scotley and Jose.
Whenever I'm in trouble, i just cook more spaghetti like Josh
You'd think by the time they reached the black jackets, they'd have the dinner service down to a T
Elise straight up should not have made it as far as she did. One of the most undeserved black jackets of all time.
Ideas:
-Best team challenges
-Best signature dish challenges
-Best rewards & worst punishments
-Best sous chef and maitre d' moments
-Worst Hell's Kitchen injuries
Agree to the fact that season 8 was not only the worst season (at least from 1 to 8) but the worst black jackets in the history of HK, but to be fair Gale and Sabrina had the biggest downfall cause they were good in the first half of the season, both of them; and even if Russel deserve to be covered in piss we can all agree he was the ONLY good cook on that season.
For the rest you are absolutely right, Trev is garbage, Jillian did so mediocre the entire season and Nona is absolutely the worst winner ever (from season 1 to 8 at least)
Nice to see worst Black Jacket services getting a spotlight. Hoping worst opening night services is in the future.
Let's face it, Matt was just comic relief. Guess the producers decided that the season would have been too boring without him.
Who’s here after that S21 service lol
Me
Me lol. I wasn't expecting that service to be a failure at all

that was just insane
makes me wish sakari made it to the black jackets, i feel like he would have made a better leader than cheyanne or daphne
from my experience watching the show most things called "raw" could be rare but that Ribeye @ 14:50 was straight uncooked "RAW"
It was so raw , it was still wandering around the field mooing
Elise made mistakes 17 times?! What a world record!
*Ed’s F6 20 mistake service would like a word with you*
First black jacket dinner service of season 8 was so bad that the entire team was kick out, include Nona despite being the only chef did not make mistake(She was at tableside)
All chef at the kitchen(Except Nona) make error and disorganized from team
And don’t forget season 9 but Flynn Master provide incorrect information.
After he kick out entire team, he told Scott and Andi to complete dinner service, and also tell Andi to told Paul and Will to return to the kitchen as Ramsay felt they the only good chef had good performance.

Let’s all be honest, we all wanted Louross to be a black jacket more than Matt.
Hell’s Kitchen lore is certainly entertaining
I'm pretty sure ever since I started watching your HK videos a week ago I've gained 15 pounds since.
a video on the best chefs at challenges is what i want to see
11:53 I felt very bad for Ariel this service.
There were a lot of hard moments there but "your special is now not very special" is just devastating
Elise was so fine but her attitude was ridiculous. She had skill but she shouldn't have made it as far in either of the seasons she was in
Elise basically had no skill because of her undeserved black jacket, 17 mistake service plus her shitty attitude, and her shit consistency and bad challenges.
She wasn't even fine.
@NICA TV I Agree. IMO, many were more attractive like autumn, Barbie, Paula, Kanae, Dana, Mia, Elsie, Ryan, and several others whose names I can't remember.

4:04 Josh sums up his performance as well as the rest of the BJ services on here.
Can you please make a Jean-Philippe Video!! :D
You should rank all of the intros of each season
When Gordon gives up and walks out of his own restaurant mid service you know you screwed up really bad
My favorite thing in the world is him telling people to f*ck off 😭😂😂😂😂
I am a defender of Sabrina on Season 8. I think she would have been bottom half on most seasons and probably should have gone home early on. At the same time, I think she showed the most improvement and also think that she was gaining confidence and consistency prior to her final service. I understand that she had a terrible service, and by no means was the best chef. I just think that it might have been better to keep around one more round.
She had one of the worst attitudes and personalities on HK though. Can't see her being in any leadership role at all
Ramsay taking Matt by his hand! lol
