- 1995, a lonely man roams the Badlands, once again caught up in a mercenary war.
Finally, after 3-4 months of work, the first episode of my series is finished. I'm super excited to be able to show you the world I've been working on for 2 years come to life. And this is just the beginning!
#sfm #sfm_animations #tf2 - Komedie
He could have left the two scouts alive for information on why they followed him instead of killing them
Great start for the series, you have talent for storytelling and scene composition.
Just a tip, avoid having to explain what happens in text (the Spy behind the door scene). Best practise is to show, not tell. Keep up the work and this'll be an interesting story!
Noted
Okay I just realise about the text, It was mean to be the subtitles for the hand signals. But for some reason, my editing software shifted them. Fuck I can't repair it now,
Okay, just for saying at 4:15, there's subtitles who's appear. Those ones were intended for the sign language at 4:00 but my editing software shifted them and I can't fix it anymore. my bad, it's the hazard of editing
This was very entertaining and definitely looking forward to future videos! My only recommendation is to look into hiring VAs as the AI voices seemed rushed and monotone though they do seem better than most AI voices out there
This series is really fast-paced. It's a bit jarring to tell what's going on. But, for a first episode? Not too bad.
this shows promise, the only thing it would recommend is perhaps looking at the pacing of it. It feels a bit fast, not really allowing the audience to fully proccess whats happening
interesting story SFM, subscribed to see more
amazing work can't wait to see more
Thanks
Overall this is really nice and I like the things you did the with merc models, the pacing can feel a bit to fast sometimes though but it still is quite nice keep it up
that was something the voices werent best but i really wonder where the story will go
still needs some work, but damn, that's excellent, hope we'll see a full series
your medic looks like my red dead online character
Now that's some good shit friend !
Interesting characters, good designs, voice mixing is sometimes a bit off, and the pacing in interactions could be a bit slower make the conversations and action feel a bit more natural, but it's pretty awesome overall.
Wow that is pretty interesting. But the animation is a little bit stiff apart from that good work. 👍🏻
Yay more quality content 🎉❤
I couldn't help but notice that you also use ElevenLabs for your voice work. Here's a fun fact: it now has a speech-to-speech feature instead of text-to-speech, so if you can pull off a decent enough imitation of the characters, ElevenLabs can handle the rest easily without janking up the tone or inflections.
W vid, but something id recomend is finding better ai voices, also try making the MC's voice deeper it would match
Keep up with the good work my guy
Sooner or later you'll be on the same level as popular SFM animators such as Winglet
good work! would suggest hiring some VAs as soon as you're able to though, AI is generally frowned upon and might bring you some unwanted angry folk. also would suggest having more unique voices and not just using the default merc voices
Good job keep it up
some real effort and story writing is put into this looking forward to the rest!
Banger vid, though it would be nice if everything was a lot slower, things just felt very clumped toghether and nothing had space to breathe
i love this a lot and you did a great job with the AI voices and worldbuilding.
I just think that things are moving a bit to fast, like new info is being added almost every scene, so maybe in the next episodes just go a little bit slower
(i dont know how to explain what im thinking, also my english isnt very good)
Cant wait for the next episode
You need to keep doing this job man, there are not many people left who make sfm like you, there are some problems with lighting and animations, but I'm sure you will get better at this job as time goes by, by the way, don't forget to reduce the dialogue sounds a little and add ambience sounds in the background.
It's good work. The voices can use a lot of improvement, as well as the timing and spacing between speaking to emphasize on the actions, no matter how miniscule, that happens around the actors. No breathing space doesn't give time to viewers to digest these small things.
honestly not bad at all, only thing i can really say is maybe pace out the dialogue abit
Nice
Medic do be looking like the Silver Shroud
watch in a few years and you'll fina be like the winglet
great job done by the author
WOW
The Timing is too fast, pauses is important, but still great story telling tho
Wait a minute from the video 7:36...is that who I think it is? Alex Mercer or Scout Mercer?
It feels too quick the video but good job.
Hi
Good story and phasing but dialogue needs work
Too many cuts. Audience barelly has time to breathe while scenes go by so fast. Don't be afraid to stretch it.
Sped up too much, the timing is all off. Otherwise its good so far.
thats acuatly a good universe
with varies factions and varies ideas in a tf2 universe
The animations just don't feel right, I suggest you look further into improving on your issues
Improve yourself first then we talk cuz what I saw on your channel, i don't think I'm the one who need to work harder on my animation skill
@@marckal970 My skill as an animator does not deter me from giving criticism on your work. Many people who point out other's issues are by no means experts of their field, if they have even tried it at all, But does that mean you shouldn't accept their criticism? But I will accept that my stuff is mediocre at best compared to yours because you actually spend time on your stuff.
But no time to argue whether the critic should be good at his work to be valid, thats kinda stupid. My point is that you have a mistake, and you should learn to not make it. Have a good day
@@marckal970 Ok well it seems a little robotic and it just, locks on position very weirdly? And I feel like something is just wrong with the dialogue scenes.
Hope this helped a little with your work, I saw you spent 4 months on this and id say except for the pacing and the smaller animation mistakes it has a good storyline. Hopefully the next one is better.
