  • A Rabindrasangeet in a mixture of taals performed at 'Taal Tarang' organised by the Cambridge University Indian Classical Music Society on 16 June 2024.
"Anandadhwani Jagaao" is the 29th song in Rabindranath Tagore's Swadesh Paryay collection. Written during the colonial period, this song aimed to bolster the fight for freedom among countrymen. Mostly based in the melodious Raag Hameer, the song prominently features the raag's signature chalan right in the very first line. Characterized by its use of multiple taals, the song is described as "taal-ferta." This term signifies the repetitive use of different rhythmic cycles. This song incorporates four distinct taals: Chautal, Teora, Keherwa, and Ektaal. Furthermore, the tempo within these taals varies, with Ektaal being used in both single and double beats at different points in the composition.
    Vocals: Saswata & Sampurna
