@@Mine-Finder I spend 40hrs a week on my education as a full time student. On top of that I work 10 hrs a week at a part time job. That still leaves me a little under a hundred thousand dollars in debt with absolutely no promise of a well paying job once I graduate. And my degree is in Computer Science and Mathematics so I'm in a better spot that the vast majority of students attempting to enter the workforce.

When the people who "made it work" entered the workforce a College degree wasn't a necessity, and if they did want to go to college it didn't mean going massively in debt. Even if I make it work for myself, why would I want to live in a country where most can't.

@@rd4469 no. Not the same. Ghettos were developed by politicians and banks keeping blacks from owning property for decades. Drugs had nothing to do with it initially. Crack was fed into black neighborhoods by the government to finance secret gun sales and wars in the late 70's and 80's (most notably the Iran Contra scandal) and became an epidemic. White people found out about crack and came into the ghettos to buy it back then. As crack became more popular and more people got the recipe it spread into "better" neighborhoods and affected "unintended targets" of the government. Crack was meant to be a lower price drug; cheaper than cocaine. Designed to target poor blacks because it was cut with other materials. It's sad that it affected so many people were affected.

I lived in NYC during stop and frisk. I got pulled over while passing through Brownsville, Brooklyn like 5-6 times during the summer of 2010. I will not be voting for Bloomberg.

There was a difference under Giuliani and Bloomberg. It was supposed to be stop, talk and frisk. Bloomberg left out the talking part and slammed blacks against walls and frisked them without due process. Under Guliani they did this 90,000 times a year. Under Bloomberg it rose to 600,000. He's a racist pure and simple.

And you are not the only one susceptible to his ads he’s got a whole 15-20% in the polls through money alone.
