Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh.
I'm seeing children of friends suffering this, questioning the validity of Islam, questioning if they believe in Islam.
May Allah protect my children from such a heartbreaking fitna, ameen.
I don't know how to help their parents. It is a terrifying threat to our families.

I came to realize that men/women who deny polygamy which was made halal by Allah for reasons that are crystal clear, they either have gone through a bad experience or are just ignorant(some of them have secret multiple relationships, others end up resorting to pornography) forgetting that a man is sexually different from a woman.
Whoever feels like it’s impermissible/unacceptable they should go for canceling.

Polygamy is good for who? Who does it benefit the most? Can one man spread his love, energy, spend one on one quality bonding time with multiple wives and children of different ages and needs? It is we children who have to pay for our parent's personal lifestyles Choice unfortunately.

Bilal Philips lectures, articles and books are clear on this issue of polygamy . Plz study before saying negative stuff about the Islamic system as it’s from Allah the perfect one and your statement contradicts divine wisdom and law. What’s even more common is a married man ends up sleeping around with unlawful women due to this type of nonsense thoughts and aways a person from responsibility and equal treatment with marriage and the protection of children having a father figure rather than just move on without anyone knowing who is their father and the woman knowing who is the husband ...

I agree. Despite im all for it. Allah legislated it. But it should be practice with caution. Not just because someone has physical resources should Marry more. One should also see emotional resources. Yes true. All ppl are flawed. If a man stretches his cloth beyond its elasticity its rips is a saying in my language. Yes whatever happens polygyny, toxic marriages, others haram like zina then marriage n single parent from zina all the sufferers are in d end children. You all commenting stop jumping on his eman. He must have emotional trauma n stating it. Its true. Its non stable men wannabe great ppl some of them all. Women also who support this blindly without precautions . If you cant take emotional tolls dont marry. The worst you can do is give birth to children n treat them like dog pets.

Saying "Men are Polygamous by Nature" is against Islam..?
Why do almost all Scholars claim that men are polygamous by nature with no Islamic claim? This makes men think it's okay to open doors and feel for multiple women, when in the west, where everyone is treated "equally" women are equally polygamous, cheating on their husbands, for "fun" not for "love or emotional" reasons as many put it.
This means that both sexes are vulnerable in the same way.
I think the society allows men to behave this way or think this way, because it's a male dominated world, and they supressed women since the beginning of time, when in the end, both men and women are the same, committing the same sins. However, the world makes it okay for men to be this way, claiming its their nature. Ever wonder why Muslim parents will abandon their daughters forever if they caught them speaking to a guy but will not do anything if their son goes out and sleeps around with women? Why is that? In the Shariah, both is a sin, both are haram!
True women may be of more fitnah towards men, because women have more awrah to cover, yet they fail to, but most men are naturally in hijab, hence the reason for lesser fitnah for women.
The Polygamy allowed also speaks about helping widows or orphans, anyone who can clearly study the Quran can understand that. The Sahabah and Prophets mostly married older women who had children from other men who had died. If men want to follow the example of the Prophet, they should follow it in the way he practiced it. Wars were common, many women were left without homes or men to take care of them. Had Allah disapproved, we would suffer social issues.
There are many many many men who are happy with one wife, who dare not think about other women. Even having a thought of a non-mahram while married is a huge sin, how can one approach the thought of Polygamy knowing this is wrong? We see here the clear reasons for Polygamy. Some claim their wife is too fat or too old so they want to get another wife? It's because women are too busy with children they don't have time to even think of getting another man. Though the arab world makes it look like women have no physical desires or feelings.
The fact that society has suppressed this, is proof why they claim "Men are Polygamous by nature" I would like to see any type of proof from Islam that this is true? Men were more free to do whatever they pleased, this is the real reason, before Islam and after Islam. It's not a religious view, its a social view.
We Muslims are taught to follow the Quran and refer to sunnah and hadeeth, if men want to remarry, then why dont they read the verse on polygamy and refer to the sunnah and hadeeth? There are clear hadeeths that our Prophet pbuh the sahabah remarried older women to help them and be noble men for the sake of allah subhanwaltala, not for sexual reasons as Scholars put it these days.
Also when Hazrat Ali wanted to take a second wife for the reasons I put above, it made Hzt Fatima upset and Prophet pbuh forbade Hazrat Ali remarrying a second wife.
So if anyone can show a claim from ISLAM that men are polygamous, I would like to see. Please don't bring sciencists' claims into this, because even they claim things that go against Islam.....

Ruth Rahmah Murphy sister Alhamdulillah this is very heart warming , as a married man I can honestly say your on perfect tracks but keep searching and all five fingers are different sizes so is sincerity . Allah has knowledge of hearts so true sincerity is usually found after marriage. But before you make the decision of your life . Try different platforms .. eg . Sisters at the local masjid, normally the sisters will know or know of the family so at least you can have a good idea what the gentleman’s walk of life is or was. Allah bless you and keep us all steadfast in deen. Sister if you come across any racism while on your journey please know that this is culture and not religious teaching.

The root cause of all these problems are arrogance, thinking your intellect and ideas are better than the Creator, who created it! Allah knows what is best for his creation, and Allah knows that which you do not know. The believers are the ones who hear the ayat of Allah and say “We hear and obey. ˹We seek˺ Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You ˹alone˺ is the final return.” Never forget this dunya is shortlived, and not worth it, submit to Allah and Allah will make it easy for you. May Allah guide us all and forgive the muslims, ameen.

If every man marries one , alot of women won't get married , some men became .....
So in order the zina and fuhsh to be controlled, we have to follow Allah's order.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh.
Also, historically, there was no limit on how many wives a man could have in any particular society or religion.
Islam reduced the permissibility to only 4 wives. Only Christianity reduced it to one wife and it wasn't even Jesus, (Issa, may peace be upon him), who commanded this restriction, but Paul, a man who never met Jesus and never heard him teach.
There are many blessings in having a family with more than one wife, I can say this with full confidence and experience having been a second wife.
Once a woman is able to get past the fear and jealously which is a normal reaction and emotion, there are alot of advantages for the women themselves and the children. The only one who has a harder time all around is the husband with the expanding responsibilities and time management.
This is a much bigger discussion than can be addressed in a CZcams comment.
But the main difficulty in a family with multiple wives who have a husband who is just and loving to both or all, is the attitude and resistance of the wives themselves and the people around them throwing gasoline on the smoldering embers.
In many cultures the wives are taught to exert power upon each other, for the first wife to rank higher than the others, or the youngest wife to demand the most time and wealth, etc., and the cultural pressure to humiliate each other or deny the rights of each other, which spoils the family for everyone, (my husband's first wife NEVER did these kinds of things, Alhamdulillah).
This is no joke, multiple wives is exponential responsibility on a man, it's not just another romp in the hay.
