  • The European Union has pledged €138 million (Shs 549 billion) to support Uganda's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), aiming to boost trade activities and facilitate access to affordable credit. Caroline Adriaensen, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Uganda, announced the commitment during World MSME Day. Focused on fostering youth and women entrepreneurship and resilient supply chains, the initiative aims to create a conducive ecosystem for sustainable enterprises.
