- We found an absolute hidden gem!
Dulas glamping is a remote farm with only one camping pitch. This single pitch is securely fenced in so you can confidently allow your dog, especially reactive dogs or even breeds such as the XL bully to roam free without having distractions to react to.
We visited in our VW California camper van and the views of the local mountains are gobsmacking! It's only 15 minutes outside of Machynlleth in Wales but you feel like you're a million miles from civilisation.
You're allowed sensible campfires, you can buy local meat from the farm owner along with eggs and it has great facilities which are just for your own use.
It's a working farm with a variety of animals to see and, there's a huge cabin which is fully accessible for disabled people, which includes an amazing sensory bed, accessible beds, ramps, large internal wheelchair friendly spaces and again, amazing views.
The owners are great people who in our opinion, are under charging for this unique experience.

I'm a dog behaviours and Jack was guarding something in that hole. I wouldn't mind betting he had found a bone. Great location!

Ace love places like that, you should try the animal sanctuary near York where you can pitch up amongst the animals, Jack can also go and if you feel like it you can take a sheep for a walk to the local pub, anyway great little place you found and quietness is bliss 👍👌

What an amazing looking place. Grass is a bit long though if it’s wet.
It’s amazing and yes, thought the same about the grass but it’s a working farm so I guess it’s something which was missed if they’ve been busy.

What a pitch! What do you think of your grill? We were talking to a chap who made them at the Overland show a couple of years ago. I did plan on going back to get one but never did.
The fire anchor is brilliant Mal! I’ve used it lots as it’s really versatile.
Company called TJM metalworks make them, I’ve got a grill for over an open fire and the lantern holder is made by them too 👍🏼
