- The Fjallraven Singi Stubben backpack is a great all rounder with a unique feature and made from G1000 Eco S. I took it to a forest in the Snowdonia national park, North Wales UK to show you how much kit I can fit in.
Kit included my Gransfors Bruk small forest axe, Snowpeak titanium cook set, Bahco laplander saw, Mora companion knife, Bushbox essentials LF titanium twig stove, Nalgene bottles, Fjallraven granite wool shirt, Hestra Falt guide gloves, David Friars large pouch, Real Turmat meal and many other small accessories.
Ideal for bushcraft, hunting, fishing, wildlife photography, as you can use this pack as a very comfortable seat.
It has various sized pockets including the additional singi side pocket and singi gear holder which enable you to adapt the capacity of this pack.
As mentioned, I don't often offer reviews but I felt this pack needed to be shown and, I always rely on other gear reviewers to help me invest in my kit.
I did forget to mention the waterproof seat cover which is secured in a slim top pocket of the bag but there's not much room for anything else within that slim zipped pocket for other kit.

I can’t help it, I was paying attention but howling at Jack’s antics. He’s great 😂
He’s off his head isn’t he? 😂😂
Really useful and good review. Thank you
Thank you 😁
Considering we were not that bothered about buying the rucksack we thought you did a fantastic review and Jack just made it 😂
I actually would like to start collecting a bit of kit considering my new appreciation for the great outdoors 😊❤xx
If Jack wasn’t there, I’d have fallen asleep editing it 😄😄
Thank you!
Your problem is space, you have to choose your kit wisely where I take over the house 😁
Fantastic mate, really informative… love the vids, keep doing what you do.
Glad some like it 😁
Cheers!
Love a kit video! We couldn’t help smiling at Jack running about snapping at flies while you were trying to film 😂
You can see the muscles in his face twitch when he’s surrounded by flies, he’s so focused 😄😄
Great review and love seeing Jack running about 😀
Brought him in to break up the boring facts about a bag 😄😄
Just found you two tonight and binged watch you for a couple of hours, absolutely brilliant, I love your adventures and Jack is just adorable.
I was out camping with my sister in her old VW camper on Saturday night. We ended up at the bloody Leisure Lakes on the A59 at Mere Brow!!!😂😂
Have fun and keep posting xx
I know leisure lakes, few drinks will help you pretend you’re anywhere in the world 😁
Glad you found us, jack is an idiot but you’re right, he’s adorable too.
Thanks for joining us 🙏🏼
Thank you for the review. It was both informative & entertaining! There is something perfect about carrying a Gransfors Bruks axe in a Fjallraven Stubben backpack, perfect. I have worn the Fjallraven #26 pants for years in the rainy Pacific NW of USA. Always keep me dry & comfortable. Thank you again for the review.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😁
There’s just something about the quality Swedish brands that give you that confidence in the outdoors 👌🏼
Love a kit video - keep em coming
Cheers Ally 😁
Good review, helped finalise decision of which fjallraven bag to start with 👍
Thanks Stuart 👍🏼
It’s a great bag, hope you enjoy it
Great video, love Jack😂…..inspiring me to do more hikes….FjallRaven kit is class, love all the gear you carry🙌🏻….still room for a few beers in there I’m sure 😉🍻
There’s always room for a tin or two 😉
Thanks mate 👍🏼
Ooo I love a bit of kit!! Show us more!! Just ordered that dog water bottle looks great
😄😄 I love kit too, especially when it enables you to do things differently.
The bottle is a great idea, for some reason, Jack doesn’t often drink from a stream so makes sense to fill this up and get him drinking 👍🏼
Very nice setup! Need to get my stuben looking this good! Lol- dog running by. 🐕
It’s a cracking little unit.
And the dog, is just wired differently to all other dogs 😄😄
But I have to say what an amazing amount of stuff fits in. I lolled when the axe came out. It reminds me of the cartoon Sport Billy if you were growing up in the 80s
I did but I don’t remember that cartoon!
I must’ve been out causing trouble somewhere 😉
Very insightful Alan. No sign of the kitchen sink......yet! :)
Left that in the van 😁
Nice review.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Top review mate, much better than my old military one 😂😂😂
Cheers Paul
Those old military packs are built like tanks 💪🏼
Mate you have lovely gear
All top notch 👌
All the best 🫡
Thank you 😁 it’s always nice to hear my gear being appreciated 👌🏼
Awesome backpack , I have one with the same pouches. Never thought about putting them on top of each other ! More Fjallraven gear reviews would be good - cheers
Thank you 🙏🏼
I guess, having both sized pouches on either side is a little overkill for a day out but, in winter, our kit gets bulkier so not a bad option to have.
Glad you enjoyed it, I might consider doing more moving forward 😁
@@Professionalmoochers Yes , I bought the pocket and the gear pouch for both my Stubben and my Singi 48 so have two of each . Just attached them now. I don’t really use the Singi 48 now so might sell it at some point . Thanks 🙏
Brilliant video mate. I love the Fjallraven G-1000 stuff. Its not cheap but it oozes quality. Lovely pooch!!
Thank you 😁
I’m a big fan too, such a rugged material.
The dog is bat 💩 crazy but we love him 😂
Kit reviews are always good. Another Fjallraven fangirl here but now the husband wants the rucksack, thanks for that! 🙄🤣
😂😂 there you go, birthday present for the husband sorted 👌🏼
@@Professionalmoochers well, it's his birthday next week and funnily enough that's exactly what he said! 🙄🙈🤣
😄😄😄
Love it
😁👍🏼
I found that v useful as have been thinking about a rucksack and whether I need something that big and hardcore or not for dayhikes. Looks like an awesome piece of kit but maybe OTT for me. Hmmm. Good videos mate.
Thanks Sean 👍🏼
I watched videos, read reviews and changed my mind 12 times before buying this 😄
It’s extravagant, and quite an investment but it’s a unique piece of kit, topped off by quality and heritage so decided to treat myself.
There’s often second hand ones so there’s a potential to get a bargain if you’re tempted.
Great review thanks for doing that was really informative!!
If you happen to have the Singi 28 as well would love to see you review that as this was really helpful. 😊
Cheers mate!
Afraid not, it was between this and the Singi 28 at time of purchase.
Only other pack of theirs I do have is the Keb 52 👍🏼
Ohhhhh do that next lol 😂
Thanks for sharing this review. I've been close to buying a Helikon Tex bergen for a bush-crafty day pack, but this may be a better option. Do you miss having a waist band when you fully load this? I know most packs this size aren't intended for heavy loads and don't include waistbands, but just curious how comfortable you find it when full.
Thanks and best wishes!
Thank you 👍🏼
The weight seems to spread well across the shoulder straps and it’s really comfortable but, I don’t intend to walk long distances with it so I guess it’ll depend how far you’re hiking.
It is a really good pack though, very well thought out.
I really like this rucksack, but im not sure how good its to carry without a hip belt. Someone in a forum said, you can attach an hip belt to it. But i cant see how. Do you?
Are attached bags at the side all the same? Because i can only find one kind.
I’ve genuinely not needed a hip belt but, I’ve not hiked a long distance with it.
It’s a really good pack to carry, straps are sufficiently padded and well spaced apart. Not sure how you’d attach a hip belt.
The accessories are called Singi side pocket and Singi gear holder.
The side pockets are the best of the two though 👍🏼
Thanks for the loadout! Does the Snow Peak kit also fits within the open Singi side pocket? I see it fits the gear holder!
Cheers 😁
I’ve just been upstairs to test it and yes it does, both accessories are pretty much the same diameter 👍🏼
@@Professionalmoochers That was quick! Thanks!
Great video! Can you tell me please what is the total length of your axe?
Thank you
It’s around 50cm long
I expected a few cans in that rucksack.
😄😄 they were behind the camera
Watch out Ray Mears 😂
😄😄
A Bounty...
Staple diet item of any serious woodsman 😁
Bit of gear porn on a Wednesday 😅
Bitta blue for dad’s 😄
I’m a major fan of Fjallraven sadly for my wallet.
Tell me about it!!
Aslong as you use it, it’s worthwhile 👍🏼
