*These guys BOTH won me over on a personal level with their kind, warm, charming personalities.*
Thanks for your kind words!
Great interview. One of the truly great people in rock, and so glad heâs still here with us!
Thanks for watching and subscribing ;)
Faulkner is a Legend!
Faulkner such a talented player and great stage presence
This was amazing. So glad that Richie is doing well. Heart surgery is a huge deal. I had †defect repaired in 1994. Just wonderful that he is doing so well. Very brave and in my eyes, you both kick a$$. Thank you for the show. XOXO đ€đ€đ€â€
Glad you liked it ;)
Keep you and your metal alive, strongđ„
Best wishes from Turkey to you Mr. Faulkner
That was a great episode. So glad that Richie is doing well. What happened to him was really scary
Richie earned his time on this earth! He was the only one not letting us fans down and forgotten in this pandemic crapđ€! He has a beautiful family and still a lot to go thru, as you said it , he is the continuity of the legacy of Judas Priest.
Also, are you telling me Thin Lizzy is not in RocknRoll Hall of Fame? bro, WTF.
Awesome episode! Been a huge Priest fan since catching the "reunion" Ozzfest shows (amazingly I was at the show where Rob had to pull double duty & sing with Sabbath after his priest set in Camden)- (never missed a tour since) and the Falcon definitely brought another awesome era to them. He's so much fun to watch on stage not to mention hear. Really happy to see him well and raring to go. Thanks for another great one! I'll be seeing both of you on the road shortly đ€
To "Blag " =To get something by coaxing/to persuade someone to do something or give one something.

Wow, Richie live on stage rupturing an aorta, way to go on the Rock n Roll scale of shock rock, congrats to the medics đđ»đđ»
So in 86',i was 15 and went to see my favorite guitarist, George Lynch and Dokken open for Priest on the Priest Turbo Lover tour. Now ,all these years later,Richie is married to George's daughter Mariah and is in Judas Priest.Such a cool thing to see.Would be awesome if they could do some music together.
I've been waiting for this episode so much!!;)
Ha! Thanks ;)
Talkin' bout fur and Leather jackets, sounds like a 70's conversation to me, I LOVE IT.
Thanks Ryan. So Kool you & Ritchie got some time to chat. Ritchie's solo spots are awesome (Epitaph awesome solo) . He became a member of Priest and gave the band a new life. Watching his heart go out, Rob was there for him , so kool Keep the faith "Hell bent for leather"!!! âïžđ€đŽđŠđș
Thanks for watching ;)
Glad to see him again
Wow !! What a great episode! â€ïžđ€â€ïžđ€
Thanks for watching ;)
Shenker is great. Fan since the mid 70's when he got on the map with UFO.
Thereâs so much to be said for playing by ear. I suck at trying to learn theory and itâs motivating to know that tons of great guitarists donât know theory all that well.
I was sick not being able to watch the show live..... Friday is ITT day and there is no weekend to begin without Roxie âs live show đ€·đŒââïž
Richieâs version of âBlood Red Skiesâ is mind blowing!
Great episode today, such good vibes đ„°đ€đ
In 2006 they said Metals Dead. And I said Lie! Im still alive.!!!
Best interview I've seen with Richie! Legend of a man! You do a great job RR!!
An interview of the heros we young guys needed ,loved this episode đđŸ
Awesome to hear Richie is doing so well. Good podcast. Got my tix for the Las Vegas show.....can't wait.
Great Episode!!!
Amazing interview! Thank you!
Thanks for listening ;)
If you can't have Tipton and Downing this is the guy you want,a fantastic guitar player.
I thought he would have sighted Glen and kk as influences but i guess he's not allowed mention kk.
Awesome interview! Im looking forward to hearing the new band/project whenever that happens!
Us too!
Great guitar player, Great interview!
Thanks for watching ;)
Awesome interview!
Great episode! I saw Judas Priest in 2018 , they were great! Any news from the coffee cup I won for my participation in the Merry Christmas Everybody video clip? I still haven't received it
Missed the live today đ but I have that new guitar pick he showed in the opening! I caught it at the Savannah show and love it! đ
Thanks for watching!
Hendrix was a different level. Michael schenker and UFO. has always been a complete masterclass in melodic intense stylish soloing.
Wow
âLetâs see what happens when Priest gets onto RRHOF.â Richie and KK instead of Sneap (and I like and thank Andy).
Richie is looking switched on!
Great in the trenches Ryan. Have a good one , stay Covid freeâïžđ€đŽđŠđș
Painkiller đ€ Ritchie such a role model , understand the emotion , support networks keep us above the realm of death ( have a legal advance care plan) Keep the faith one under the black flag đŽâïžđ€đŠđș
seeing Priest in April w queensryche, who is playing guitar
Richie
Roxy. Let the guy speak
22:28 "Who's that?"
Rob Halford w/ a wig in his yard writing some new stuff I presume?
Good to see Richie in rude health and back in the saddle. Shame about KK, it's about time he shut up, every interview has KK crying about a band he left and it's beyond tedious.
Sup đ
JP belong in the RRHOF
What caused the heart attack? Richie seems pretty fit. What has changed over the last 2 years? What have people been giving that may cause a heart attack over the last year or so?
First of all , it was not a heart attack
Aortic dissection aneurysm
@@janalong2702 I'm sure this guy thinks the soccor player who collapsed of a heart issue on the field last year was a coke addict.
Of course we are glad Richie survived that harrowing experience at Louder than Life, I was there to witness it, although had no idea until after the show that something had gone wrong, He is right about KK v Priest interaction, absolute shit show and petulance. KK opted to leave the band. I did just see that Documentary on Reelz TV, rarely do they get former members of the band to come on and do interviews for it, KK was on it, and he was there to give his side.
BTW Kristi Wakeling says hello...
So when you say Richie has made a very important record with Judas Priest I assume you're talking about Firepower. Does that mean Redeemer Of Souls is not an important record or does that mean you are unaware he's made 2 records with them?
Jesus that heart thing sounded bad, host just wanted to hurry on to music stuff though jeez
Richie is spot on about the Hall of Fame. Whitney Houston in, yet not Priest. Total joke. It's irrelevant. Priest and other great rock bands create their own credibility and legacy, they don't need the HoF to pick up to them.
Yes Richieâto make a long story shortâand i donât think you have much of a choice because you get interupted every five seconds. So annoying.Let him speak yankee doodle dandy! And Alice Cooper is just horrible. He was great in the 70,s but when he did Poison(the worst song ever written)it was over.
one more unwatchable yappy host ...
