Great drill. This can be a real difference maker for players driving forward on the ball. I play semi pro and since I started using this more I find not many can get me off the ball

Nice drill, especially for younger kids who can easily be intimidated by the bigger, physically stronger ones.

Lol crazy enough I had a U10 game tonight for my son where I'm head coach and this is what I've taught my players, and the ref called a foul every time they even barely made contact with another player. I almost lost my fucking mind!

I hope all young players in CANADA 🇨🇦 is watching this drill to understand that the arm is allowed. Never see a place where players cries for foul so much when someone uses their forearm to protect the ball or to gain on advantage in a one v one. It’s just impossible to play with your arms down.

My question is, what's the limit of using hands until we get the foul?

football is a contact sport. it’s to be used in reason. if both players are tussling like that it’s often allowed. when it becomes a hand on the face or an elbow in chest or face then it can be a foul

You use them as much as the ref allows.

My palm keeps on getting on the opponent's face unintentionally especially those shorter than me when they press me from the behind, some players think am a rough and aggressive player but am just protecting the ball. What is your view on this?

Problem is kids in US are discouraged from protecting the ball. No wonder even adults aren’t doing it, it’s been weeded out of them.

If you put a ball down at the end we'd see who could get first to it lol
