There is no proof Cohen was mistaken. I was not aware you are only allowed to talk about one topic in a conversation. Ever since Lisa Rubin acknowledged she has a naive faith in the justice system to the extent that she thinks even Judge Cannon will handle the docs trial fine, I don't know about her takes. She seems to be on a diff planet
Cannon has mucked up and delayed the trial with her Trump-influenced decisions. This trial had 90 percent of evidence ready to go in September and she is ordering dumb and weird hoops for both sides to jump into in order to push the day behind the RNC convention.
Trump's own words- Michael Cohen was my lawyer and fixer. That confirms Trump expected Cohen to fix problems on order s by he the boss.
These two have done a fantastic job, both from a legal strategy/content perspective and as communicators 👏❤

Cohen's testimony is irrelevant to the documentary evidence of falsified business records which is slam dunk. Cohen can speak about intent, which jacks those charges up to felonies, but there's still an extremely strong circumstantial case for intent without Cohen. He's a narrative witness, not a fact witness.

The call could be neither "a mistake or a lie". What was relevant in Cohen's earlier testimony was that he spoke with Trump. So what that he also spoke with Keith in that call? It was a 93 second call. It only takes less than five seconds to tell Trump "That thing we've been working on is going to happen" and have Trump reply "Fabulous!!, Keep up the good work!".

I suggest Lisa takes another look at Cohen’s testimony regarding the 24 October call. He did not say he was unsure about whether he spoke to Trump. He said he believed he did.
If the prosecution were to follow her advice here - which is to say that his recollection was actually a mistake - it is **that** that would be a catastrophic mistake.
