What was the issue with the clock spring not working for you first time? Should I buy a specific part?

Do you mean it didn't have the steering angle sensor? I'm installing one and my new clockspring has the steering senser but doesn't have the plug in for my steering wheel mounted cruise control and I can't find one with it anywhere.
