I absolutely love the original splatter house trilogy. The 2010 game was decent from what I heard but not the remake the series deserved. I hope Namco will once again take us back to the west mansion in a future game at some point giving splatter house a proper new-introduction to modern survival horror / hack and slash fans.
The 2010 version was like that but it fell into the trap of being a run of the mill edgy game and came across as a wannabe doom/resident evil style. The 80s/90s horror movie style is what made this game so unique, if they ever do a reboot they should keep it like the Sam Rami or Romero films.
