This one... This game changed my life... Changed my concept of people... If you focus on the story and have an open mind, you will see how wonderful this game is. It isn't about fight, about graphics that also are amazing, but people and feelings... I think the people that developed this game, Ar Tonelico 2, are the best on humanity.
It's because the Singing Hill songs (at least Harmonics EOLIA and Harmonics FRELIA) are actually enhanced and lengthened versions of an ancient folk song from Ar Ciel, according to comments from the series' director and creator. Afezeria HARVESTASYA also happens to share a few melodies with Harmonics EOLIA.

I wish they'd port these series (PS2 games and the PS3 only third) to PC so we can play these games and I really feel GUST was onto a way of writing trilogy that didn't resort to sequel baiting as each game had a self contained story and was able to tell a grand trilogy spanning story by having each games outcome be crucial to saving the planet (Artonelico 1 redeeming Mir, 2 creating the Heart and etc

the prequel of the game (ciel nosurge DX and ar nosurge DX) sales is pretty bad at the japanese steam.. the sales on console is pretty bad as well... we might never see it localized / english version, and the chance ar tonelico game on steam / modern console as well

There area a large amount of typos and mistranslations, one including the Song magic that summons Jean Ishikawa(?) I can't remember the name. Basically they translated this character to be a male and referred to as a male, but it was indeed a female. They gave her a male voice too.
i didnt even know about the glitch xD i froze at raki first time i tried, so the second time i just went but crazy and used full resonance with replakia and my most powerful song and blasted her in the 2nd turn xD
Just noticed that the ending note bar in the song is just like a note bar in Ar Tonelico 1. You could just play the part of the note bar where Lyner is in and continue the song :D Maybe

@Lukefonfabre9 Yeah. It's worth getting especially if you've played the first one, Ar Tonelico Melody of Elemia, since there are references to the characters from that game. My biggest issue is that you can't synthesize items and equipment wherever you want, you have to do it at the shops. But, synthesizing items can be pretty amusing because of interesting conversations and the items your characters will produce. The items made can change depending on who does the synthesizing.
Owh... I remembered some totally nonsensical words they used. so that was the reason.... I already know about the Jean Ishikawa because for some reason the audio is set to Japanese.
the only problem w/ this game is that they rushed some of the work and didn't put time into testing it. which caused a programming glitch at the end and another one w/ an optional side quest battle.
The first series is a good beginning that introduce us to the world of beautiful song. Second series is another epic adventure with awesome song. Third one... the music is not bad but, is the stripping show necessary?
I know it is kida late to ask this but, is it me or the game voiced section is kinda random. Compared to the first game, where there are more voiced scenes, where the second game, even the prologue is voiceless. or is something wrong with my copy??

@UDarkWolf Luckily they fixed that for the EU version. Unfortunately, they didn't fix the Google Translate version of the script they used for the NA release.
I was lucky enough played this game on emulator avoiding raki glitch unknowingly. And the second time i play with fix on the glitch, the battle become really hard

There was a glitch? Man, I wish I knew that. I had to beat her in 3 turns before the freeze. It took a couple tries but I got it.
