- Well it is in our opinion, or at least, it is if your on a holiday and just want to enjoy the place at your own pace. O and we get to see a castle and stuff!
We make these films just for fun, and we hope that you have enjoyed watching them however we have been asked on a couple of occasions now if we have a Patreon account. Hey Fpxwells! That's our marina! We love it there, one of the nicest places we have been. We are there for the winter and if they will allow us, we will stay another year. Nice video, enjoyed the castle.

Once again a great video - thank you. Interesting to hear your comment comparing Lymington marina and Island marina. We've not stayed at Island yet, maybe this year. But regarding Lymington - we've never seen facilities like that before - beat most of the hotels we've been in! :😀 Mind you , we take your point about the price of the boats - with our 25 year old British Hunter (which we mostly love) we were definitely at the cheap end! 😀

Hi Nigel. They are 30 year old Dahon bikes which apart from being very heavy have stood the test of time so they cant be all bad. Our daughters bike was a cheap no name brand that we found second hand on ebay, and to be honest is just as good a bike it just doesn't fold up as well. None of that really helps you though I'm afraid

Another lovely video of my stomping ground. Sadly Island Harbour Marina went into administration in September with debts of over £10m. No buyer yet as far as I know which is a shame as it is a little haven on the Medina. The white hull called Calibre went up for auction not so long ago and went for a song. She is a Moody Carbineer and would be a great blue water cruiser. Nothing better than looking around boatyards…. EastbCowes Marina is a good place but again depends if you can get a berth. Look forward to the next one. Did you go to Beaulieu? That’s a beautiful place. Andy UK
Hi Andy. Thats a shame its a great marina and no, we didnt get to Beaulieu. Combination of not enough time and the expectation that it would be packed as well which would take away some of the magic
great video thanks for sharing i wonder if there's a damping setting for your autohelm, to calm it down. i've had the same setup for 2 seasons now and i've not explored that setting either. Merry Christmas Foxwells!

Hi. There probably is but in normal use with a breeze its not to bad, its only in light winds or large swell that it gets carried away. To be honest I played around tuning the funky B&G autohelm that we had a Sea Horse and it didnt make that much difference so I wouldnt expect to find a better allround setting on this one.
