WE GET TO SEE STARS

- So today is the final leg of our journey back home, the trip from Eastbourne back to the river Medway. It’s a long way for us but given the problems that we had experienced with cameras etc none of us could be that bothered to film anything so its not a very long film this one. But it does wrap things up and completes the trip.
If you stayed with is throughout this miniseries then thanks, sorry it took so long to pull it all together but we hope you enjoyed it.
We make these films just for fun, and we hope that you have enjoyed watching them however we have been asked on a couple of occasions now if we have a Patreon account. We don’t want to do that at this stage as we feel it would turn the channel into a business, and as we said at the beginning, this is all just for fun. However if you would like to support us and feel you could help contribute to the cost of making these films then you can do that via our PayPal account here. A big thank you to everyone that has already done this, its a great help.

And a big thank you to everyone that has supported us so far, its very much appreciated.

Thanks guys
I believe I passed you on your club mooring on the Saturday morning, you guys did look pretty tired after your return leg !
Hi ya. Possibly we were pretty exhausted
Medway Yacht Club...where I bought my boat several years ago.....
Hi William. What do you buy then and where are you now... was it a long journey?
And who did you see that's a star? Someone quite famous I hope.
You could always try calling up the liner pr ship on a bridge to bridge VHF channel and ask his intentions if you are not sure what they are doing.
Hi Richard. Yup we were listening in and if it had mattered we would have called them but there was a lot of chatter on the radio at that time with ships going in and out and it didn't seem appropriate to bother them just for our convenience. Happy new year
Do you have a video that mentions your sheet to tiller or hands free steering ? I'm trying to set something up on my TS16
Hi ya. Its not that complicated I'm afraid its just a Raymarine wheel pilot or us balancing the boat with the sails which is only good for 30 sec max normally
According to the background in that opening sequence you are travelling east to west - a problem with selfie-mode, I guess! There looks to be a decent amount of wind, at least early on; how many knots did the motor add to your speed on that off-wind leg, and how would that compare to adding a kite?
Hi Tony. Yup it was a problem with films on my camera, the software would often invert the image. I spotted it mots of the time and corrected it but didn't always. The wind was very on and off so you couldn't depend on it, we switched in off for some of the trip but if the SOG dropped below 6kints the motor would go back on so that we could make it back at a sensible time
This is where the AIS and DSC helps I guess, just call the cruise ship and ask their intentions. Ugh looks like a positively Irish sea confused mess! Enough to make anyone sick!
Yup we could have called them up, we were listening in, but there was a lot of chatter on the radio with ships coming in and going out so it didn't seem right to bother them just for our convenience.
What happened to the N12?
Hi ya.
We sold it im afraid, not enough use. But we are doing more dinghy waling again this year
I may be in the gutter but I'm looking up at ........etc etc
Gerry Cinnamon?
you guys ok have not seeing you on youtube for a long time now
Hi Alan. We are great thank you. We've mainly been dinghy sailing this year so it's been harder to film. We are hopefully going on our summer cruise soon and hope to do some filming then. Thank you for asking after us x
@@SailingwiththeFoxwellFamily hey that is ok
