- The Harry Potter franchise remains extremely popular to this day, and many adults who grew up with the books and films still like to revisit them and catch little details they never did before. J.K. Rowling and the filmmakers worked to put little bits of foreshadowing and symbolism in every installment, and there are certain payoffs that you won’t get until the very end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
From the numbers that keep re-appearing to the fan theory that gets referenced in the final film, let’s take a look at some small details that only die-hard Harry Potter fans understand.

What other Harry Potter details do you think should've made this list?
Looper I LOVE your videos!!! And Harry Potter!!!! 😍😍😍😍
how about the prophesies Ron and Harry made for their homework during the goblet of fire, they all turned out correct as well....
marieke Elzer I notice that every time I read the book
marieke Elzer "errrr Ron you seem to have drowned twice??" 😄
Maybe how to pronounce Rowling?
("ROW ling", not "RAU ling")
Another thing about the Deathly Hallows symbol Easter eggs:
The Dursleys give Harry three Christmas gifts over the course of the series. The first was a coin (which he gave to Ron) the second was a toothpick, and the third was a tissue. Separately, the gifts seemed to bear no significance, but when put together, the coin represented the Resurrection Stone, the toothpick represented the Elder Wand, and the tissue represented the Invisibility Cloak.
Edit: I didn’t find this out myself! The real credit goes to some Tumblr user, probably lol
Alena Vo Fuck !
Ram Kumar lol
OH MY GOD YOU'RE RIGHT I NEVER NOTICED THAT :O #mindblown #harrypottertheoriesareendless
MIND BLOWN
The coin was 50p which is not a circle
"HARRY DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?" Dumbledore said calmly.
The movie didn't do enough justice to Dumbledore's character.
DIIIID YOUU PUUHHH YARRR NAMMMEEE IN THEEE GABBLETTT OFF FIREEEE
Nadrah Nabiha DIDJA PUUUUUEEEETTTT CHURRRRRR NAMEEEEEEE IN DAAAAAA GOBETTTTTT OFFFFFFF FIAR
Hayley Potter Idk why but I immediately read this with a thick Jamaican accent 😂😂
Kayla96 but I'm Asian ._.
Hayley Potter sorry
Harry’s first words about Snape:
“Who is that man?”
Harry’s last words about Snape:
“The bravest man I ever knew”
I’m sorry what?
You forgot something about Hedwig's theme: In the introductions of all the movies, Hedwig's theme always played in the background. But after Hedwig died, they stopped playing her theme at the beginning
i hadnt even noticed! thats some justin roiland level continuity!
WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@nathanfracasse6645 well you're spending time in the comment section of a facts video. sure there will be conversations about anything of harry potter.
I'd still accept a Hogwarts letter now.
Harry Potter m8 this doesn't make sense
Harry Potter | Harry? Didn't you already go?
Same, even though I'm older than 11
same XD
Same, I have no idea why I couldn't go.
'The Film producers went to pain staking lengths to make sure seven was everywhere' and then fucked it by making 8 films *facepalm*
I thought about that too :P
They were considering splitting The Goblet of Fire into 2 films also so it was nearly 9.
Also of all the examples they gave only 1 was a film producer's choice - the rest were from the books!
I wish they had. GOF was so complex and they missed out on a lot of stuff I'd have loved to have seen.
+Deeplyshalllow this is EXACTLY what I was thinking
Yeah lots of 7s...
And then they went and made 8 movies...
Lol
They technically made 7 movies one of which, being the last, was split into two parts because of its length and to hype up the ending of the series as a whole, the last "two" are in fact one long movie which can be watched back to back and has had full versions published!
Yeah but there is 7 books
Actually it's fine isn't it, since Voldemort intended on making 7 horcruxes but ended up making 8 accidentally. Similarly there were going to be 7 movies ended up being 8.
Itz Izzy yeah, way to ruin the magical 7 pattern J. K. Rowling tried to keep throughout the story.
First I waited for my 10th birthday to become a Pokemon trainer. Then I awaited my 11th birthday to receive my letter from Hogwarts. Later I learned that because of Voldemort's interference with the ministry I couldn't have gotten my letter even if I was a wizard.
Joberg me too😂
I want to fucking die now
Don't worry, Gandalf can still appear in your 50th birthday.
Don't bet on it
Omgosh..same here! XD
I hate that "it was all a dream/fantasy" crap. Every show, movie or book with anything supernatural can be "just a dream" smh
Leonard Frett "things only a die-hard fan knows" I'm not a die hard fan but I think it has something to do with his spirit still being in his body or something like that
glad I'm not the only one that thinks so
Leonard Frett I agree
Leonard Frett 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
yeah harry was obviously talking about the sorta heaven like white area he was in, not THE WHOLE LIFE HE HAD BEFORE THAT ONE MOMENT!!!
All the 7's weren't because of the horocruxes it was because 7 is the most magical number. (Idk if it said that in the movie but in the books 7 is the most magical number)
Gabe Stegner yeah that's what that bit means
Gabe Stegner 7 horcruxes. 7 books. Rowling started writing the books in 1990 and published her first one in '97. 7 important painful deaths. (Hedwig, Dumbledore, Snape, Lupin, Tonks, Dobby, Sirius)
Am I the only one confused as to why looper claimed that the filmmakers forced the number 7 by making the Weasley family a family of 7.... They were a family of 7 waaay before the movies came out..............
+Sphinx
You mean they have 7 kids, right?
Ginny, Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Charlie, and Bill. Counting the parents would make it 9.
But you're right, that was confirmed in the very first book when Ron corrects Harry on the Hogwarts Express, saying that he has 5 brothers, not 3. Then count Ron himself and Ginny who was there as well and you have 7.
3 is traditionally associated with magic throughout history. 7 makes more sense for the reasons they stated.
When Trelawney refuses to sit at the table of "12," there actually already are 13 people sitting there. Ron has Scabbers, aka Peter Pettigrew with him. This makes 13. The first person to rise from the table? Dumbledore, who dies before the others
W O K E
I was gonna point that out. Thanks.
S H O O K !
No .... Ron and Harry stood up first together
@@neeluagrawal6920 no dumbledore got up before them to greet Trelawny and ron and harry got up after dinner to leave
since yall are commenting interesting theories, here's one: Professor Trelawny once asked Harry if he was born mid-winter and Harry laughed at her cuz he was born in July, but Tom riddle was born on 31st December which is mid-winter, hence in a way she was right.
Here's one more: anyone wonder how da faq Harry could remember anything from his 1yr. old self when the dementors attacked him? if you read carefully, you'll see that the bad memory starts from when Tom kills James, but by that time Lily had already taken Harry into another room. So even if Harry had extraordinary memory, how could he know what happened outside the room? if you think about it, you could say this memory was from Tom's POV, and given that this was when his soul was split from his body, you could say it was one of his most bad memories.
Both these points are like little hints for the readers pointing towards Harry being a horcrux, and if Jk Rowling wrote these intentionally then she is a superior queen.
the first fact was pointed out in the video. But yeah, very true.
Or perhaps Professors Trelawny was thinking about Australia which winter are June, July and August

or New Zealand. Or Tasmania. Or New Caledonia. Or Vanuatu. Basically the whole southern hemisphere.
You sound so serious
@@thedarkdestroyer4756, also South Africa 😂😜
1) Pollux Black was thirteen years old when he and his wife Irma Crabbe had their first child, Walburga, in 1925.
2) Lord Voldemort's wand is thirteen and a half inches long.
3) Peter Pettigrew murdered twelve people after betraying James and Lily Potter, as well as faking his own death. As a result, Sirius Black was wrongly convicted of the murder of thirteen people and imprisoned in Azkaban.
4) On Christmas Day, 1993, Sybill Trelawney, professor of Divination at Hogwarts, joined several of her pupils and fellow teachers for Christmas dinner in the castle's Great Hall. She was fearful upon noticing that twelve people were dining in the hall, believing that were she to sit down, the first of the thirteen seated to rise would be the first to die. Fellow professor Minerva McGonagall expressed doubts regarding her fears.
However, if Peter Pettigrew in his Scabbers disguise is counted as a person, there were thirteen people before Trelawney arrived. Since Dumbledore rose from his seat to greet Professor Trelawney, and assuming Derek and two other unnamed students did not die before Dumbledore's death in 1997, Professor Trelawney's prediction was correct.
5) In 1995, thirteen members of the order dined together, and the first to rise was Sirius. Sirius was the first to die of those thirteen people.
6) Barty Crouch Jr.'s escape from Azkaban prison in 1982 was not known publicly until 1995, thirteen years later.
7) Lord Voldemort spent thirteen years of his life without a body and the Death Eaters had not met in his presence for thirteen years before they did so in the Little Hangleton graveyard on 24 June, 1995.
8) Thirteen people came to collect Harry Potter from 4 Privet Drive for the last time in 1997. It is possible that this contributed to the bad luck experienced by these wizards and witches on this operation. One of the thirteen, Alastor Moody, died that day.
9) After Alastor Moody's death, 13 people sat in the living room of the Weasleys. The first person to stand up, Remus Lupin, was the first to die.
Shit. Thats deep man. Fucking, deep.
Walburga.... Hmm... So they named their child after a famous witch from the mid to late 1500's? (Walpurga Hausmannin)
Once again I must say being a die-hard Potterhead is really cool 😸
"All THIRTEEN!"
*7* - regarded universally as a lucky number
*13* - regarded universally as an unlucky number
7-related Easter eggs are mostly positive in the series, whereas 13-related Easter eggs are negative.
Whoa. Realizing this as I'm writing.
Trelawney's talk about how 13 was unlucky was true with Dumbledore. At the Christmas dinner, she didn't want there to be 13 people, but Peter Pettigrew was in Ron's pocket, so there was already 13. Dumbledore was the first to get up. He died first.
Zoe Norwood Which Christmas dinner, i can't remember which one
Zoe Norwood YES THANK YOU I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT THIS
No. Harry and Ron stood up at the same time, read the book.
Toomas I did read the book. I'm pretty sure Dumbledore stood up first so he could pull up a chair for Trelawney.
Timon 3rd
In the books: “Harry, did you put your name into the goblet or fire?” Dumbledore said calmly.
In the movies: *”HARRE DID YA PUT YEH NAME IN TEH GOBLET OF FIYAH?!?!?!???!?!?”*
I honestly like it more in the movies cuz how is Dumbledore supposed to stay calm after that
The ONLY actual DIE-HARD FANS are those who have read the books, not just watched the movies...
I read all the books 11 times no joke
CinnamonGaming I’ve read the books as well as watched the movies.
Some of harry potter fan are from non-english speaker country. So they just watch the movies with subtitle. Or anything about HP that was translated to their language.
nanamikanano87 Doesn’t mean they can’t read the books. Just pure laziness on their part.
@@danielledewitt1 you dont call someone lazy just because they dont have the time to read and open dictionary at the same time. The books are hella thick. Its fine to level yourself higher than those who didnt read the books or understand the language but dont insult them.

*I actually read it like Hermione would say it*
About the voldemort picture: He wasn't like that before resurrecting, he was deformed by the process. So that can't be him.
Henrique Erzinger it's called foreshadowing
when Harry asked when it was all in his head, he meant was he dreaming that he was actually talking to Dumbledore in the dreamy version of Kings Cross Station, or at least that's how I thought of it.
Kaila Sheely Me too!
That's exactly what Harry meant, don't doubt yourself. A lot of the things on this list are just things that the narrator has found by looking too far into it. Rowling has explained pretty much everything in painstaking detail, any information can be found elsewhere with a lot more credibility. Like the Snape thing for instance, he wasn't hinting to harry that he bitterly regrets his mother's death at all, that is just someone looking for connections for the sake of a video, he hated Harry because he reminded him so much like his father, but he felt a duty to Lily to keep Harry safe throughout his school days.
So narrator doesn't answer the last question... What really happens? What's this "only" theory?
No, it really happens and the theory is just a theory. Like another comment here says, the fact that uncle Vernon sees wizards and owls when Harry is only one year old, proves that Rowling didn't intend it to be only a dream.
Hagrid had bought Hedwig for Harry, so he is connected to the music theme.
the fact that he pronounced most names wrong just frustrated me
Like ozkaban
Apparently us Americans are too dumb to understand the word ‘Philosophers’ so here are some other titles that’ll make sense to us:
Harry Potter and the whisper snake place
Harry Potter and that mean jail man
Harry Potter and the dangerous game thing
Harry Potter and a group of people
Harry Potter and the guy with only some blood
Harry Potter and death items
You’re welcome for clearing this up
Jacksfilms?
Ohemgee that is funny😂
How dare you call sirius A MEAN PRISONER???
Stolen but still funny, I guess.
The reason they changed it was because Scholastic thought nobody wanted to read about philosophers but wanted to read about SORCERERS 🧙🏻♂️
Dumbledore said of course it is all in your head hints to harry not knowing if Dumbledore is talking to him because harry thought he was dead. It doesn't hint towards anything else. Some of these are good but about 3 are not

One thing that the books and movies hint at is that Harry is immortal. Harry goes up against The Dark Lord seven times, starting when he's a baby to the last show down after he dies, and survives each time, it can be his mother's protection, his own skill, and the fact that the Dark Lord marked him as a child, but he survives each time. Before he, the most anyone had been able to survive against the Dark Lord is three times, his own parents, Neville parents, and Hanna Abbot's Mom (Hanna's mom is speculation on my part because of different things said and hinted at in the books.)
The prophecy even says ..."Either must die at the others hand for neither can live while the other survives," so in effect by Killing The Dark Lord he, Harry, has made himself immortal because Voldemort is the only person who can kill Harry.
On top of that Harry is the only known person who could unite the Hallows without being corrupted by them. He released the ones he loved from staying with him while he fought knowing their time on Earth was at an end. The unbeatable wand was only used at the last possible moment and he did not keep it for himself, unlike the movie where he breaks the wand, he returns it to whom he believed it belonged to: his friend, mentor, and grandfather figure- Dumbledore. He keeps the cloak because that's his family, but even then much like the original brother he doesn't use the cloak for nefarious purposes.
By being the only person who can unite the hallows he is truly the master of death-- so much so he even survives death it's self, the sixth time he goes up against Voldemort. There are more examples, but I could write a 20 page dissertation on the subject.
wow.
Holy crap... You've stunned me (heh)
butttt- being killed isn't the only way a person can die, so obviously you're right he can't be killed, but could he die from natural causes like old age?
Nobody kills you if you die of old age.
Personally I don’t understand how Harry can be ‘immortal’. The prophecy speaks of a power that Harry has that Voldemort lacks- love, from his mother Lily. This causes Harry to withstand the first and second confrontations of Voldemort. The third encounter with Voldemort shows Harry’s devotion to Dumbledore bringing him Fawkes and the Sorting Hat. I’m sure you know well, but Fawkes blinded the Basilisk for Harry to divert it and escape. Then, by Harry showing the true Gryffindor he is, he kills the basilisk with a sword, destroys a horcrux and lives due to the power of Phoenix tears. The fourth encounter, Harry’s blood is used in the resurrection of Voldemort, the the effects of Lily’s love cannot harm Voldemort physically, yet by their wands twin cores, this causes Priori Incantatem and that is the sole thing that allows Harry to live. Then, at the end of Order of the Phoenix, Harry meets Voldemort again, yet Voldemort is interrupted by Albus Dumbledore and the ministry, Harry lives again. The next Harry meets Voldemort is in The Deathly Hallows. Since Harry himself was a horcrux, Harry had to die before Voldemort could die. Harry did not have access to his cloak in the woods, yet did, in fact, have the philosopher’s stone, which was the thing brought him back from the dead. In the last encounter, Harry duels Voldemort, yet is much stronger due to the destruction of the Horcruxes and the fact that the Elder Wand actually answered to Harry. You referenced a part of the prophecy that states that either one of them, Harry or Voldemort, would need to die at the other’s hand. Harry already did, and Voldemort also died at Harry’s hand. The prophecy did not say that the hand of the other was the only thing that could destroy them, only that neither Harry, nor Voldemort could live when their counterpart survived. Since Voldemort did die, Harry can live and can also die from a means other than old age. Even if he can be a master of death with the cloak, he could simply drown or burn to death, or even get killed by the killing curse whilst working as an Auror (which the cloak cannot protect against) meaning he does not obtain immortality. Even so, the third brother was not immortal by having the cloak, as he died of old age. Consequently, I cannot wrap my head around the prospect of Harry being immortal as you say, but I’d love to hear more from the other side of the argument to see if maybe my thoughts are wrong. Sorry in advance for the essay.
Awesome..but I have a question. Let's agree that nobody can kill Harry other than Voldemort and as Voldemort was killed by Harry himself, nobody can harm or kill Potter. But can't he die normally? Without being killed or tortured, can't he die normally just like others do? The prophecy says that neither can live while the other survives. Voldermort's dead, so Harry can live without any trouble. But that DOESN'T mean that Harry will live FOREVER. He will eventually die due to aging problems or heart attack or whatever maybe the reason. He will suffer a natural death. Rather you can say Harry is UNBEATABLE OR INVINCIBLE,but you CAN'T surely say he is IMMORTAL
ANOTHER THING WITH THE 7 THING IS HARRY WAS BORN ON THE SEVEN MONTH AS WELL.
That's pot luck. Harry shares his birthday with Rowling
Also Harry Potter is 11 letters & what rhymes with 11? 7! He grew up at number 4... what's 11-4? 7!
Also his wand that he purchased at Ollivanders costed him 7 Gold Galleons
Apart from the 7th month, it's mostly based on 7 being an important number in Indo-European folklore.
Congrats, you finally found out.
First one's a little off.
The Asphodel is Lily, the Wormwood is James and it alludes to his relationship with them. Questioning what you get when you combine the two is a challenge to Harry who himself is a combination of the two.
Btw it is pronounced hallows, not Harllows. I just realised, I did a Hermione :) LoL
And AZKABAN not aaazkaban
that portrait has a beard. it's more likely to be salazar slytherin
who was also voldemort's distant ancestor.
Mighty Tighty Whitey And I'm Smuggling Plums
Well, I think it IS Nosferatu like mentioned in the video. Or maybe Dracula. This is way more likely than Voldemort in universe and out of universe, with the design of Voldemort not being completely sure at that point in time.
It's Saphie | salazar slytherin is indeed voldemort's ancester
The 7 one was wrong. If you read the books in-depth it explains that 7 is actually the most magical number. Riddle mean to split his soul into 7 pieces for that reason. Also with the deathly Hallows. Rowling did all that. The movie makers just went along with it. Also no one believed Trelanany's prophecies because her great (Maybe more greats) grandmother was casandra. A known seir in mythology but was currsed so no one would believe her. Last one, the theory, is down right trash. Also the voldemort one. Its slytherin.
Daniel Solomon The Cassandra in Graeco-Roman mythology and Trelawney's grandma are two different seers.
It's also because 7 is viewed as the perfect number in religion (Christianity), that's why slot machines have tiple 7 for the jackpot. It's also logical, since J.K Rowling was an anglican Christian, and is still to date member of the Church of Scotland. One of her quotes: ' I feel very drawn to religion, but at the same time I feel a lot of uncertainty. I live in a state of spiritual flux. I believe in the permanence of the soul.'
Daniel Solomon and the first one you need to be a scientist to work out straight away even then they wouldn't get the hint Potter heads aren't scientists
look look. the part when dumbledore said "of course it's happening inside your head" , Harry asked him bcos you know, harry woke up at kings cross but in dat realm so he just wanted to comfirm if that place was real or just things happening inside his head, not the whole magical world. i hope i make sense kbye
One thing a diehard Harry Potter fan will know:

Seven is the most powerfully magical number. Also, Trelawny said to Umbridge that her ancestor was a seer called Cassandra. In mythology, a seer called Cassandra was cursed so nobody believed her prophecys. This curse could have been passed down.
Lunaaa Calamity When I told my Classics class (the majority of whom are huge Harry Potter fans like me!) about the whole Cassandra thing because we were reading the play Agamemnon where Cassandra is a key character, the room erupted in shock and we were on the verge of having tables flipped, and several people just went 'God DAMN IT JK!' 😂 It was utter bedlam!

"The filmmakers" Um excuse me did you mean the author, J.K Rowling?
Thank you!
Yes! Where ma readers at?
Well she is one of the filmmakers, but she wasn't every actor, director, or anyone that helped make the film
Albus Severus Potter is not the Cursed Child...
BHLani then who is???
Wasn't it Scorpius
He is, because he was cursed enough to be part of the cursed child
Rajim Wakefield Voldemort's child with bellatrix Delphi I believe is how you spell it
BHLani i think the cursed child is Delphi or somethin
So, because Hedwig can’t play the flute, and Hagrid can, it should be called Hagrid’s theme? Bs, I tell you.
EDIT: Maybe Dumbledore was talking about the white Kings Cross station being in Harry’s head, not the series. Ever thought of that? Apparently not because it’s obvious you’ve never read the books
Anni Shae, I... I just... my brain is on its last legs here
Wait so most people think that Dumbeldor is telling Harry the magic isn’t real? Oh i always thought he was talking about the kings cross
It can't really be in his head cos wouldn't he want the dursleys to be nice if it was in his head
Yesh it can’t all be in his head, and the Fantastic Beats movies prove that, because there are several things in them that Harry would not have known, and Harry was not alive at the time.

As a diehard Potterhead, I'm gonna have to call bullcrap on that portrait being Voldemort because if you look closely, he has a beard, so it could've possibly been Salazar Slytherin in the portrait, one of Voldemort's distant relatives. Also, the "all just a fantasy in his head" theory is just too cliché and ridiculous to even be true, because if all that and the Wizarding World was all just inside Harry's head to escape from his abuse and neglect from the Dursley's, then how the hell would you explain Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?! Newt lives in the Wizarding World and Hogwarts, just like him!
Daniella Valadez I disagree about what you said about the "it's all a dream" theory about it being cliche. In my 11 years of reading (I've been reading since I was 3) I have not yet once read a story that reveals it was all a dream. People that talk about that theory say "it would be a cliche" but it would really just be bad storytelling
Daniella Valadez and why would random people come up to Harry and thank and congratulate him while growing up?
Teeem Steeemers uhm, that's exactly what she said...
Kartik Chatlani That would be part of the imagination, theoretically
exactly the Dream Theory is complete bullshit. First of all Dumbledore referred to the conversation he and harry had in the world between life and dead and secondly the first chapter of philosophers stone is a proof that this theory is false. It's Vernons point of view of the day Voldemort was defeated. at this time harry didn't even arrived at the dursleys place
true potterheads believe that the whole story happened and that the wizarding community asked J.K Rowling the muggle to write the story and she said yes to that.Thats what fucking happened.Like if you are one of those potterheads
Lady Spiritgem Maybe she is actually Reeta Skeeter. She was so angry, that she decided to Tell the Muggles all about the Wizards.
yea thats another part of that thing
I'm than potter head who thinks that jk Rowling is a witch herself and she's having problems with the ministry of magic for revealing the wizarding world to muggles

Okay so a lot of these details are incorrect, most of the theories have been denounced and the pronunciation of some words was abysmal
My dad said when I was 11 I started crying in my room because I didn't get a letter to Hogwarts 😂😂😂
Ok, as a die-hard Harry Potter fan I think deathly hallows symbol and Dumbledore's office thing is pure nonsense because Goblet of Fire came out in 2005 and Deathly Hallows were never mentioned before the final book which released in 2007. Correct me if I'm wrong. Mirror and Harry's reflection seems like a reach as well. Then, portrait in Prisoner of Azkaban cannot be Voldemort, it is some random vampire I guess. I mean come on who would put a picture of most evil wizard in a school. It is freaking stupid. The rest is fine I guess. Cheers
ali aliyev Rowling probably told the filmmakers about the deathly hallows and what they're gonna be in the future, so they put an obvious nod to them in Dumbledore's office, which is fitting because he would definitely know about them, as he owned one himself.
ali aliyev and apparently that portrait is of Salazar Slytherin
its called cinematography, movies do it all the time, one of the few cases movies can shine over books. If JK told Alan that Snape was always gonna be a good guy all along, I am gonna bet she had hallows planned out from at least the 2nd book if not the first. Obviously the portrait is not Voldemort, but I find it funny that the video didnt mention another easter egg it could represent. In Snape's DADA class I believe there is a portrait of a man screaming in agony like that from the Crucio, I think it was a brilliant if maybe coincidental easter egg
J.K told Snapes character (forget his name) that Snape was in love with Lily way before any of the fans knew. So it wouldn't surprise me if the director knew about the hallows in the GOF
ali aliyev jk rowling planned all of the books out before the sorcerers stone
Duh, of course Voldemort was in Hogwarts the whole time. Harry is his horcrux. A piece of Voldy's soul is in him. DUHHH.
That's what I thought at first! 😏
Azistar Sweet and the diadem
Voldemort didn't know that untill the very end idiot, otherwise he wouldn't have try to kill harry
Haroen Ringoot no one said that voldemort knew his horcrux was in Harry? Read the comment properly before you reply and try to insult people
Did anyone else notice that at 4:50 he said Bron instead of Ron
I knew them all but loved the video!😄
Why did I tear up at the Chocolate frog returning?
Elinor Johansson Also the little ball of sparks which is reminiscent of the one Fred and George are throwing to each other during the montage in Order of the Phoenix! That got to me, because it was like even though Fred is gone, his legacy will live on in the pranks he has created and in the mischievous spirit of his nieces and nephews...
Elinor Johansson Same, I really can't get over of the fact that it's Harry's Children's generation.
Elinor Johansson o
Same
For my kids' 11th birthdays, I'm giving them Hogwarts letters than going to Harry Potter world.
Ketchup & Gummy Bears my parents did that for me! Too bad I couldn't get to diagon alley cause it would be a year until it was finished
shoot you’re an amazing mother
That's cute I wish I was your child
Adopt me? Please?
Kaitlyn Russell Ooh I'm stealing that from you 😂 I better start saving up now for tickets 😂😂
“And bloody hell”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😝
Hedwigs theme can be heard in every movie at some point
i hate the fact that they changed it to sorcerers stone for americans. they speak the same language as us so why didn't they keep it the same
I'm American, and I wish too it hadn't been changed. Apparently, Random House (the American publisher) didn't think Philosopher's Stone sounded magical enough to attract the American market, and convinced Rowling to change it. I didn't realize it wasn't originally the Sorcerer's Stone for several years after I read the books.
I actually have a set of the British books. I find it interesting to compare them to the American version, and see all the differences.
they didn't change it in Canada 😁😁🤘✌
raging eagle hahaha you shouldn't complain, in french they named it "harry potter at the sorcerer's school" something like that. I hate it even more
ff7angeleen wow what a rough life such a shit name
raging eagle idk why they changed it but we didn't have a choice in the matter.
I feel like die hard Harry Potter founds don't trust the movies because some facts are wrong
iRectrix thank you
iRectrix ugggh another muggle who trusts the movies... Moving On!!!
To some the movies aren’t canon
They are canon to the point as it follows the books. What's not canon are things like Neville giving the gillyweed to Harry instead of dobby giving it to him. Luna finding Harry on the train instead of tonks finding him and so on.
iRectrix YES SAME
So most of these I did recognize, but the one with a painting of Voldemort completely blew my mind! I can’t believe I had no idea he was there
7 Harrys weren’t made. 6 were made, but there was 7 in total
Of course it wasn' t inside Harry's head!! What kind of fan says that!!
Gabriela Carula De Mello the fan who's addicted to conspiracy theories as well as Harry Potter
Hahahah
Wouldn't be possible as fantastic beasts and where to find them would not happen and in the first book we see Vernons pov and he talks about magical things happening such as Mcgonagals cat form.
Yeah, the theory is total crap!
You are right! Really now?!
The last one isnt actually true. I mean would there be a Fantastic beasts and where to find them story before Harry's birth if it was all in his head?
dusan vizlina I’m glad you mentioned this. I was starting to panic and contemplate living when he mentioned the last one
Everyone who even consider this theory obviously forget to read FIRST chapter of the first book, which is written most part by the point of Vernon Dursley ! And who has seen for a all day people wering wizarding clothes, celebrating and talking with eachothers about "Harry Potter, the boy who lived".
OMG THAKE YOU!!!! ..... I am soooo Happy you said this!! I have heard it before and refused to belive it! But OMG THAKES!!!! I was panicing again for the 394th time!!!
Did ya catch the pun? :D
dusan vizlina SO TRUE!! all yous who believe it figure that one out
when Harry asks if "its all in my head" he is referring to his exchange with Dumbledore, not the wizarding world.
"I open at the close" was mind blowing!
Really good and surprising me a lot😂😂 Wow, fellow wizards and witches just so clever to find this subtly information👍👍
I'm sorry to any one that likes the name but Albus Severus Potter just sounds so wrong to me.
In my eyes that's the most badass name in the wizarding world.
I actually really like the name. It goes together because of the 'S's in the name. Albus Potter sounds odd, but Albus Severus... I don't know. It may just be me, but I like the name.
Satori to me both versions sound about as ridiculous as the given name "pear". it works with the namesakes because they have odd surnames to match
I remember crying like a baby at the end of the last book, then that last chapter came around the corner and all I could do was mega eyeroll at the names and pairings. I just ignore that bit of the lore, to be honest.
I think Severus Albus Potter flows better
I'm so sorry Americans but it's philosopher's stone
Bethking149 the brits be like
I prefer sorcerer's since it sounds more magical and besides y u no like sorcerer's are u butthurt or wut? (meme)
Awesome AY Planet philosopher's stone was the original name but then they changed it for Americans
Awesome AY Planet Nah, philosophers sounds more magic and mysterious... Socorer's is just... basic
why do you have to force it on us Bethking149 and Marina Plana philosophers sounds like a poet made it and sorcery is the direct root of magic besides why are all the British fans so upset that it's called something else
Bloody Hell-trademark of Ron. Oh, and I did notice the Hedwig's theme one.
I noticed the chocolate frog too! I asked my friend if it was on purpose( I figured she would know because she is such a big Harry Potter fan), and she said I don’t know. It’s good to get some clarification on my hypothesis!
The first one are the main ingredients to the "draught of living death" potion.
The portrait of Voldemort thing is a bit ridiculous. It's a pale bald man in dark robes. It's a portrait in a British wizarding school. I'm pretty sure that those features aren't that unique. Also Hedwig's theme being Hagrid's theme because he's the one that played it? Well I'm pretty sure Hedwig isn't going to be playing the song on a flute any time soon. lol. I typically enjoy these sorts of videos, but some times they include some pretty silly things.
DeathbatDrone the painting of "Voldemort" kinda looks like Calabar from Halloween Town
Voldemort isn’t dead so he can’t have a portrait at hogwarts that moves?
🤣
@@KiffTX That's an iffy topic
I think the picture of "Voldemort" looks more like Salazar Slytherin.
Love how you are giving credit to the film makers for what J.K.Rowling already had established in the books.
Thank you for the first Harry Potter list that I've watched that actually had something new for me to find!
Easy there Looper, let's not bring up Cursed Child
I don't even consider it a part of the story. The only thing I liked was the way Ron and Hermione's relationship was written because to me it wasn't very well portrayed in the original story.
Zlatka Kardaleva I liked the Malfoy family in Cursed Child, that's about it. But Voldemort having a kid, no. Just... no.
Chiko was here have u watched the play though? Don't judge until you have cos it's amazing on stage!!!
Hannah Williams And this is why book is shit. Books made into films are in most times shit. Films made into games and/or books too. The same with plays
It's all because of that film won't show what book describe and our imagination make, book will tell us story that we already know and it's like listening to your aunt about her visit in hospital
And plays? They are... plays, they have script and script is meant to be performed not read
And guys... Voldemort having daughter? Child of Hermione being intolerant? Ending that basically says: "Bad guys are bad, good ones are good and dead are dead and you can't change past"? Nope nopity nope
I'm not saying it's a bad play, I'm saying for me the plot/script doesn't fit the original storyline at all and that's why I don't consider it part of the HP universe. And most of the new and original characters were just unbelievable in the book, it may seem awesome when on stage with real actors but he personalities just don't fit in my opinion.
Not to be rude, but a lot of these _"facts"_ are not actually true.
Yep they're just made up theories
This video made my eyes roll so many times...
Albus Severus is not The cursed child, Delphi diggory was
Abbie Bruyere they're not real it's a play
Nothing in the whole series is real, lol. This is like the worst argument to a opinion/theory on a fictional story.
Abbie Bruyere thank you!!!! finally someone who has read the book or seen the play and actually knows that!!!!!
Well, diggory isn't her real name, it was Lestrange, because Bellatrix is her mother......
I thought it was Harry because he is the only one who actually has a proper curse put on him with the killing curse and all. Like Delphi was cursed metaphorically but and actual curse like the imperious curse and the cruciatus were never cast on her.
and the number of letters in w-e-a-s-l-e-y
Ben McKay and Granger
and Romilda and Parvati
Ben mckay is 3/5/8 letter not 7
Ben McKay is the name of the guy who wrote the comment... not a character.... Nobody said his name had 7 letters.
dont assume his gender, he could identify as a pygmy puff
I noticed most of these except the Voldemort portrait thing, wow, that’s creepy, thx for the video!
Trelawney also predicted Dumbledore's death with her Tarot cards in the book. She kept on drawing the "death" card and was mumbling something about "lightning-struck tower (astronomy tower)" and a dark-haired boy.
My biggest issue with Harry Potter is that there should be 8 horcruxes. Voldemort talks about making 7 with Slughorn when he's a child and is known for being prepared and meticulous. If Voldemort was going off to kill the child of prophecy you'd think he'd make sure all 7 of his horcruxes were already in place in order to provide the greatest chances of success since we already know 7 is a magic number. Since all 7 should already be in place, Harry should then be the eighth. You could say Voldemort couldn't find a 7th item of renown to put his soul into but I mean seriously? The guy has been planning this out since his teenage years. He wouldn't start trying to take over the freaking wizarding world without having his immortality plan finished.
Voldemort wanted a 7-part soul, not seven horcruxes. The seventh part remains inside his body.
Although, you do still have a point. When he went to kill Harry, he only had 5 horcruxes in place. Nagini hadn't been made a horcrux yet. But, also remember that Voldemort's pride not only limited what kind of objects he would make horcruxes, but also the circumstances under which he would do so. When possible, he wanted to reserve his horcrux creations for significant deaths. For example, the Diary became a horcrux when his Basilisk killed Myrtle, marking his successful attempt to open the Chamber of Secrets and prove himself as the Heir of Slytherin.
The reason I bring this up is because it is likely that Harry was going to be the victim for his final horcrux (presumably Nagini). Dumbledore also theorized this. However, as well all know that all backfired on him and Harry HIMSELF became the horcrux.
Voldemort was never aware of this so 13 years later when he tortured Bertha Jorkins for information on the Triwizard Tournament, he used her death for Nagini's creation and thus he made what he believed to be his 6th horxrux but actually was his 7th.
Side note: It's interesting that while he did make 7 horcruxes, he never actually had an 8-part soul because the Diary was destroyed before Nagini became a Horcrux. Of course, Voldemort wasn't aware of the Diary's destruction either until he forced the truth out of Lucius Malfoy (which, I would assume happened sometime between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix).
I hope that explains the situation a little.
Grimwear pretty sure this was addressed, Voldemort wanted to make his final horcrux out of Harry's death
Yeah, Dumbledore mentioned it. :)
I agree with that , but still remember when the young Voldemort practiced dark spells and killed it took his soul more and more , so I would think over time as his soul started to become nothing and he needed to use find the horcruxes that would make sense . Only he would know the true intent behind each horcuxe , and how you would have to go about using them to get to his soul and ultimately kill him . Cause you know his ultimate goal was to be immortal , .
Grimwear He was talking about dividing his soul into 7 parts, not making 7 horcruxes.
I allways rewatch it and i Never get bored Other Movies i watch them again and i get bored but i Never get bored watching Harry potter
Rolan Tarek you mean you'll NEVILLE get bored? No? I'll leave now...
Trelawney's phrophecies were actually the most intriguing part of the whole thing. It's almost scary how they did make sense in the end, and in what way.
In HP book #1 Fred and George throw snowballs at voldemorts face AKA the back of quirrel's head LOL😂😂😂
this is not really interesting and not much to do with the video but, anyone noticed on the credits of Goblet of Fire, there was "No dragons were harmed while filming" I laughed and my brother and mother just looked at me like they feared my mental health xD
Isabel Mosquera I did as well,it was soo funny lmao
IT'S THE BLOODY PHILOSOPHERS STONE!!!!
sorcerer's sounds more magical
Awesome AY Planet nah, I much prefer philosophers.. sorcerers sounds stupid no offense to you non-british fans
Bethan Merriman Why do you have to get offended when someone doesn't support your views and besides why do you Brits get so upset when someone says sorcerer's it's kinda like how upset the Dursleys get when Harry talks about magic and also no offense pretty much means I'm gonna insult you but don't get mad
Awesome AY Planet I'm not offended, I'm just saying that the philosophers is the original name of the first book and it kinda annoys me that it's different elsewhere, I'm not trying to have a go but yeah :)
well you have to accept diversity and I read the sorcerers version first
You forgot the fact that when Trelawney declined Dumbledores invitation to sit at the table, there were already 13 people sitting there, “Scabbers” or Pettigrew was there meaning that the total of people dining added up to 13. Dumbledore was the first to rise and was the first of the group that was dining to die.
With the 13 people sat at the table scene, there was already 13 sat down before she sat down because Wormtail was sat in Ron's pocket as he was Scabbers at that point in time. Dumbledore stood up first to tell her it was fine and he consecutively died first.
Also in Prisoner of Askaban, Ron had Scabbers in his pocket meaning that there were already thirteen there. Dumbledore stood up to draw Trelawny a chair.
OH MY
Woah
Another thing about the thirteen people at a table thing: when she came in, Scabbers (aka Peter Pettigrew) was in Ron's pocket, so there were already thirteen there. Dumbledore rose to greet her, and he was the first to die there
London Brigid wasn't it meant to be the first to leave the table. trelawney hadn't sat down when Dumbledore greeted her, he wasn't the first to leave. wasn't it harry??
London Brigid good point about scabbers though, makes the whole thing irrelevant. :)
For the 13 one, it is also true that the first to rise of the table that trewlawny didn't want to sit at. It appeared there were 12, but since scabbers was with Ron at the table, there were actually 13. Dumbledore rose first, and he was next to die
You should REALLY read the books first since Harry’s son *IS NOT* the cursed child her name is Delphi and she is the daughter of Voldemort and Bellatrix
😒 you guys should really check the books and not copy the things other CZcamsrs do
Yep it's so annoying
correct me if i'm mistaken but wasn't nagini the 7th horcrux? she became an horcrux when voldemort killed bertha jorkins in the goblet of fire
Chronologically Nagini was the seventh, but Voldemort never intended to make a Horcrux out of Harry, so for all he knew, Nagini was the sixth one. (Remember, it was never supposed to be 7 horcruxes, only 6 + Voldemort himself)
welp, now i have to read all the books then watch the movies again.
3:36 the prophecy was also true at the time she refused the invitation to eat. She ended up sitting at the table making it 13 (so she thought) however there was already thirteen at the table before she sat (scabbers was in rons pocket) and dumbledore stood up to greet trelawney. Dumbledore was the first to die.
I can’t stand the “it all happened inside his head” theory
