One built by young craftsmen in the making who are still learning skills and using more stock removal and grinding than actual forging, and one built by a skilled craftsman

My "file knife" will notch my KA-BAR's blade and still shave my face like my straight razor. You children don't know squat about blademaking. My Greatgrandpa did and he taught me a little bit. He was a carpenter and made froes to make shake shingles and other hand tools (former [firmer] chisels) 140 years ago.

I would not want to actually have to use it. They heated/softened it, then only hardened the edge... This blade would bend in half really easily. It would lose its edge on the first task. Lots of compliments to the bladesmith for making a cool looking blade, True blacksmith? I dunno.
