and there are still idiots who believe the ancient egyptians were black.
they certainly were not white skinned but definitely not black either.
their dna here clearly shows them being closest to saudis, beduins, yemanites. basically all the largely "natufian" populations.
neither of these people are sub saharan despite the fact that theycertainly have some slight sub saharan components in them.
funniest part is modern egyptians have more subsaharan dna and they're not even close to being as black as sub saharans.

Look at this persons nose and hair. He looks like a light skinned black person sorta looks like drake lol the author of this CZcams is leaving out a key component. THE SUN. They should’ve darkened the skin by the reality of the sun. Plus, you don’t have to be “sub-saharan” to be African. You don’t have to look like Kunta Kente to be African lol. This only proved that ALL Africans share similar dna. At the end of the day these were still AFRICANS.

This is so misleading. All the data gathered came from Abusir El Melek, very northern Egypt. Of course you’ll receive these sort of results, look how close it is to the Levantine Middle East and geographically where the Mediterranean waters disperse into Egypt initiating the Nile.
The actual geneticists mentioned a disclaimer in the initial article on this topic back in 2017 that if the data was gathered farther south it may tell a different story. The great rejoicing and I-told-you-so’s from Eurocentrics is quite telling of their already pre-existing biases.
Anthropology is based upon holistic research. Sorry from all I’ve studied, the Ancient Egyptians for the largest part of their history were a cross mixture between racially brown and black peoples, similar to modern Southern Egyptians, Northern Sudanese, and peoples in the Horn of Africa, with individuals who would be considered white and brown Mediterraneans in the extreme north. The bulk majority of the population had reddish-brown to copper skin tones with hair ranging from straight, afro-textured, curly to wavy.

    Regarding Afrocentric conspiracy theorists.
This study from the Max Planck Institute shows that the ancient Egyptians were not of sub-Saharan origin, but moreover that the current Egyptians have more black blood than their ancient ancestors, this is due to the mixing of populations between Egypt and Sudan over the past two millennia.

Have you ever seen the Movie called "Rabbit Proof Fence?" It the real story of the British and how they stole the Island of Australia, raped and had sex with black indigenous aborigines Indians. Then the British realized they procreated so many mulatto children, they feared they would one day out number them. So the British built a camp about one thousand miles away, stole and kidnapped most o the mulatto kids, especially the girls, trafficked them to the camp after putting the Nunns in charge who brutalized those kids. Then they brought white kids, especially white teen boys to have a lot of sex with them to breed the black out of the kids creating white kids over generations. Then they had plan to either kill or starve their aborigines families to death. But the world got wind of the British sick twisted deeds and pressured them to halt. But they still took the Island. And that's and example of how ancient Egypt was stolen from black Africans! Modern Egyptians are nothing but ancient invaders ancestors!

These results are extremely misleading. The actual geneticists in the initial 2017 article mentioned this may not represent the whole of Ancient Egypt. Of course the phenotype in the video alongside with the all the mummy data gathered ALL from Abusir El Melek will have these sort of results; it’s VERY northern Egypt not far from the Levantine Middle East and where the Mediterranean waters initiate the Nile. The disclaimer mentioned in the initial article is data gathered south of Abusir El Melek may convey a different story.
Anthropology is holistic. Sorry, from my research in this manner(holistic), for most of Ancient Egypt’s history the bulk majority of the people were a cross mixture between racially brown and black peoples similar to modern Southern Egyptians, Northern Sudanese, Eritreans, Djiboutians, Ethiopians, & Somalis, with a minority of what would be purely considered white and brown Mediterranean in its most northerly parts as should be expected.
Their culture was too drastically different from Southern Europeans and Middle Eastern peoples share the largest portions of their origins or affinities with them. The classical ancient Greek historian Herodotus dedicated almost 4 pages elaborating on the details of this. His indication on how greatly different Ancient Egyptian gender role ideologies were from Southern European and Middle Eastern people was telling enough for me. Gender role ideologies are something strongly embedded within the collective psyche of a people and hard to transform especially if you were within close proximity of nearby peoples who are supposed to be your closest of kin. They should act as reinforcers.
Yet Ancient Egypt’s gender role ideologies are similar to peoples south of them in Africa, and probably west too, since Berbers like Ancient Egyptians and Northeast Africans south of Egypt were renown for females exercising a great amount of liberties with considerable political power.

Thats not true at all. North africa was originally inhabited by a black saharan population called the round headed peoples. They inhabited the central Sahara and is related to the first intentional mummified body of a black lybian child found in southern lybia and western sudan. When the sahara became a desert, these people went to west africa ( related to the dogon, and other west African groups) and others went to the nile valley and mixed with nubians and other groups found in the Egyptian zone. A little time further, you have the iberomaurisans. They were found in Morocco and other " coastal " north African sites. Dna tested found them to he mixed race related to west africans and eurasians. Which shows BLACKS INHABITED NORTH AFRICA IN ANCIENT TIMES.
Also, in that bias " nature magazine article " that tested dna from a late period fayyum lower Egypt site, said Egyptians were related to levatines and anatolians, but what they dont tell you is it is a well known immigrant community, especially occupied by greeks. In that same article it says that if tested in upper Egypt it would differ significantly and upper Egyptians would likely be more related to southern populations.
Haplogroup E1b1b (formerly known as E3b) represents the last major direct migration from Africa into Europe. It is believed to have first appeared in the Horn of Africa approximately 26,000 years ago and dispersed to North Africa and the Near East during the late Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. E-M78 and E-Z827 originated respectively at 20,000 years and 24,000 years. E1b1b lineages are closely linked to the diffusion of Afroasiatic languages.
Lazaridis et al. (2016) tested the first ancient DNA samples from the Mesolithic Natufian culture in Israel, possibly the world's oldest sedentary community, and found that the male individuals belonged either to haplogroups CT or E1b1 (including two E1b1b1b2 samples). These are to date the oldest known E1b1b individuals. The same haplogroups show up in Pre-Pottery Neolithic B Jordan, accompanied by new haplogroups (H2 and T). Besides, E1b1b was not found in Neolithic Iran or Anatolia, and only showed up twice among the hundreds of Neolithic European samples that have been tested. This evidence suggests that at the end of the last glaciation 12,000 years ago, E1b1b men were present in the Levant, but not in other parts of the Near East. There is evidence that the Natufians already cultivated cereals like rye before the Neolithic period. Cereal farming may therefore trace its roots (literally) to the E1b1b tribes of the Mesolithic Levant.
Marieke van de Loosdrecht et al. (2018) tested the DNA of seven 15,000-year-old modern humans from Taforalt Cave in northeastern Morocco, and all of the six males belonged to haplogroup E-M78. Autosomally they could be modelled as 2/3 Natufian and 1/3 Sub-Saharan African (West African), confirming the close genetic link between Late Paleolithic North Africans and Mesolithic South Levantines.
Nowadays, the highest genetic diversity of haplogroup E1b1b is observed in Northeast Africa, especially in Ethiopia and Somalia, which also have the monopoly of older and rarer branches like M281, V6 or V92. This suggests that E1b1b may indeed have appeared in East Africa, then expanded north until the Levant. Nevertheless, many lineages now found among the Ethiopians and Somalians appear to have come from the Fertile Crescent during the Neolithic period. This includes some E1b1b subclades like V22 (12,000 years old) and V32 (10,000 years old), but also undeniably Near Eastern lineages like T1a-CTS2214 and J1-L136.
Not only is E1b1b originally from east africa, but afroasiatic spread via E1b1b from east africa.

Greek, Italian represent the EEF ancestry which makes up 20%-30% on average in Ancient Egyptians.

Y chromosome haplotype J is called the Semitic haplotype. That an ancient Egyptian has this haplotype is unusual though I am not an expert at all. I expected E1b1 gene which in the North African context is called by some or used to be called the Berber gene.
Now if I get my Y haplotype I STILL will have no clue if I am originally Arab or Amazigh :(
This Arab vs Amazigh ancestry will only get more relevant and important in the future, in my private estimation of course.
Common sense would lead one to believe that the majority of any population is endogenous bar some cataclysmic event like a massive genocide or a dying out as a result of exposure to novel infections (like in the Americas). However some parts of North Africa were so sparsely populated before Arabs came that a complete replacement by Arabs cannot be ruled out. Again, in my opinion and in limited areas of North Africa.

Some Pharaohs were white, some black and some were a mix like the people of today. King Tut and Ramses(my ancestor) were both white with European haplotypes. But anyways people often argue about their race and in truth three groups were in power at different times. This is really misleading regarding Ancient Egypt as a whole. The site this phenotype and mummies which were tested originated from is in the very northern portion of Ancient Egypt as well as modern Egypt. Please see a map where Abusir El Melek is, it’s only 62 miles south of from Cairo, only a 1 hour drive. This isn’t far from the Levantine Middle East nor where the waters of the Mediterranean initially disperse into Egypt. Of course you should expect a large portion of dna from the Middle East.
In the original text the geneticist refers to Abusir El Melek as Middle Egypt, but if you refer to a map it’s far being that. It’s very northern.
He rightly though added the disclaimer that results from location South of Abusir El Melek may yield different results, but Eurocentrists ignore this. CNN has the original article which came out in 2017.
Anthropology is a holistic field, and from all of my research I’ve concluded for the most part of Ancient Egyptian history they were largely a brown and black people, similar to modern Southern Egyptians, Northern Sudanese, and peoples of the nearby Horn or Africa: Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Somalia, but in its north there long existed a minority who could be considered racially white and brown Mediterranean.
Their culture was to vastly different from Southern Europeans and Middle Eastern peoples to be considered largely affiliated with these people. The ancient classical Greek historian Herodotus dedicated about 4 pages discussing these great differences. Their ideas about gender role ideologies was the most telling for me, being so different from Middle Eastern and Southern European peoples, but quite similar to peoples South of them and in the Horn of Africa.
