Helpful review - thanks - though I'd welcome your view on ride comfort. Looks are such a personal thing (I prefer the M3), but great in black. The taller body requires a wider track for stability, but despite the fatter body the interior is actually no wider than the M3.

The PMY is effing awesome. It is worth every penny of the $5K upgrade cost from the (software nerfed) LR. I love rthe UberTurbine wheels -- I've curbed the hell out of them with some nice gouges to show, but no effect on the balance, and no damage to the tires, which taper inward to seemingly avoid damagine when a rim hits a curb or pothole edge. I'm convinced the UberTurbine is an engineering achievement, designed to "take a wacking and keep on tracking".

When I went to order my Tesla MYP sat the Tesla dealer I was told the calipers were Brembo. I also called Tesla and they have confirmed to me that the brakes are performance Brembo. Tesla did a deal with Brembo. The performance modem also has a lower suspension. It’s not just the speed they made adjustments for a supercar drive. Also, the new models come with a lot more features than the older models e.g. new a/s tires, new AMD Ryzen chip, new heated windshield wipers, new lithium-ion battery for the front, etc. Even though the wait is a killer the time is now to order the new MYP 22’.

I really love my 22 MYP. Very impressed. Had it for 3 months, it’s my first EV. Also, the ride quality with the Michelin and 22 inch Uberturbine wheels is actually quite acceptable. I was expecting a go cart, by the comments I was reading online in reference to ride quality. It’s very refined, in addition to the build quality.

This is a great question, and is something I've been testing on my MYP, thus the reason I never tinted it. The handling is pretty meh compared to even a cheap hot hatch. Its no wrx or mazda 3 turbo but whatever.
If you can't look past the extremely minimalist interior then you better head to the kia dealership.
Yeah the stereo is kick ass and no., DON'T TEMPT FATE BY LEAVING A DOG IN THE VEHICLE. THE PSYCHOS WILL BUST OUT THE WINDOWS AND GET AWAY WITH IT. The COPS WONT ARREST THEM EITHER.
The wireless charging is so stupid on any car. If you are an apple Samsung or Google owner then range anxiety will prompt you to continually throw your phone onwireless pads which is not good for the phone battery life.
Buy a OnePlus 12 with fast charging and never worry about range anxiety again. Why would you have a fast charging tesla and a slow charging phone?

This is the problem with these "here's my impressions after X months - reviews". They are just your opinions with no comparison to rivals. Just a few pointers...the headlights in teslas just factually are not as good as other (E.g. Audi or Volvo's new adjustable Matrix LEDs)advantage

M Y Performance also has staggered wheels. So having tire tread even longevity after x miles will decrease, since a rotation from left to right is minimal in equaling the meat of all tires over time. If all tires were equal, moving rear to front and vice versa makes the meat of the tires more even. Also alternatively with M Y Long Range AWD: Left rear goes to right front. Right rear goes to the left front. The right front goes to left rear. Left front goes to the right rear. Again more options to even out tire meat usage on a rotation with an AWD Long Range. End of the day, tire wear will last longer as long as you keep up the rotations every 7K-8K miles. Finally another point is that you also lose the 7 seater option which gives the Long Range AWD flexibility for long road trips with friends and you have a bumpier ride since Performance has sport suspensions (At least from what I'm reading from new customer test drives on both). Reading on forums from customers who've test drove both says they can feel every crack and bump on the road on a 23 Performance model and driving a 23 Long Range feels like driving on a cloud. So it looks like all 23 Long Range Ys have the new comfort suspensions based on what I'm reading. IMO.

Lightening is nothing to brag about because is blinding everyone on the road
