😍 that hand built sled looks beautiful
I absolutely love my Dorado 37
Thanks for the love on Jack's video. He is the man.
I’m a PSI nerd, I check my pressure every ride. A habit developed from doing a bad job setting the bead on tires in my garage in the beginning. Although it is helpful to have consistent pressure when you start dialing in fork and shock, so I’m told
I want that bike, as. 6.2 rider I like to ride quite large bikes and after having quite a few xl and xxl bikes it would be nice to see more large bikes hit the scene. My 2022 xl slash is one of the longest I’ve had and it’s the biggest trek has atm, seems like lots of brands could learn from that build
I only ride introverted forks
I'm into bicycles. I like BUMBLING ALONG 😛 down trails.
Hola
What about inverted dropper posts?
Shut up and let the genius breathe in, I already have a patent don't sweat...
As a moto rider, I always wondered when the benefits of inverted forks would hit bikes.
Huh? Schwalbe Airmax Pro digital pressure gauge is 11 EUR where I live. It's much cheaper.
It's garbage though..
Dorados are sooooo good. So underrated.
You go Louisiana girl. 🤘🤘🤘
Inverted forks: more stiffness at the top part of the fork, but the slides are closer to the ground, being more susceptible to damage if you crash, and getting mud and grit on 'em.
Yeah, and a little fork oil leak goes directly to the brake pads. Gawd, how annoying.
How do I clean my chain?
Hi froride, you just need to spray wd-40 on it. Dont worry about it getting on the brake rotor, that will help your brakes stop squealing
How to install tubeless on my bice?
Tutorial pls I can't find any.
Your derailleur hoax video had me laughing!
@@kingflynxi9420 daddy told me to use 10w30 oil so I'll keep on doing dat.
Just buy a new one. Who cleans a chain.
Fox is going to release two new dropper post in a few months since their current transfer post design was a flop, one of them will be an electric dropper post which will probably be around $800 like the reverb..
How was it a flop? My transfer is the smoothest dropper I’ve ever had
@@sorinvladu7021 Do you have the 2021+ transfer post? The nitrogen chamber loses pressure within weeks, it's so bad that they redesigned the internals and are doing free internal upgrades right now. Reach out to a company that sells them like worldwidecyclery, and they'll tell you straight up they dont use them, they wont recommend them due to the amount of warranties/returns they do. I've gone through 5 in the past 2 years due to them sticking and losing pressure weeks after service.
If they can charge twice the price for inverted they Will definitely be here to stay lol !!
Twice the price even though the tech has been around for twice as long. Oh wait mx and mtb have no overlapping tech paths, right?
I Want indestructible please! Im sick of breaking frames every 2 years
18 psi in the front? Gosh i put 45psi to 48psi or I bash my rims and 55psi in the back. That's with full enduro tires. Way more speed, easier to climb, more easier to bump on roots and rocks, better fir landing huge jumps, also it protectthe rims and less spokes get loosen basically less wheels maintenance. On my bmx i put 60psi in the back and 52psi in the front. Street trial bike i go 45 in the back and 40 in the front
I'm curious. What's your weight ?
Are you sure the tracking advantage for e-bikes is the ratio between sprung and unsprung mass? I doubt it. I'd say the higher weight simply requires more energy to move it, while the bumps of the trail stay the same. the ratio of unsprung mass doesn't change that.
lighter unsprung mass reduces the energy to move only itself, nothing above it.
Everything that is above the shock mounting point is sprung mass. Yes
I think what he is describing is the increased inertia of the heavier unsprung mass of an ebike. The ability for a wheel to track a surface is impacted by unsprung weight. The ratio of sprung vs unsprung would also come into play. Take a 1kg unsprung mass attached to a 100kg unsprung mass. Then swap that same sprung mass onto a 500g unsprung mass. It WILL track the ground better on the heavier example. But a 500g sprung mass will track better than a 4kg sprung mass given a certain unsprung mass. BOTH will impact the performance.
@@DW-10 I'm not sure i follow your thought experiment.
By tacking i suppose you mean the wheel's ability to follow terrain in the vertical plane.
to rephrase my initial statement: i doubt a wheel with unsprung mass X attached to a heavy bike A is that much better at tracking than if attached to a light bike B. it just feels way better because the higher mass of A doesn't pass on as much energy, meaning it feels calmer. What allows the wheel to track well is its own inertia. The inertia of the sprung mass (the bike) has less impact on that i think. but i could be wrong.
@@a.r.8850 Sorry, to clariify, I don't think a EMTB feeling smoother has as much to do with a sprung/unsprung mass ratio as it does simple inertia. It is fairly well known that for any given mass of vehicle, a lighter unsprung mass will make it easier for the suspension to control the wheel and the wheel will typically track rough ground better. In a separate consideration in terms of EMTB vs MTB, the higher sprung mass has more inertia, thus it requires more force for it to change direction, this makes the suspension feel like it is working better as there is less frame acceleration derived from from impacts (wheel/bump). Regardless of MTB or EMTB, if you make the unsprung mass lighter, the suspension will better control the wheel. I am not sure that it has anything to do with a ratio of unsprung/sprung mass though. If you had 4kg of unsprung mass on a MTB with a Zeb/Super Deluxe and the same unsprung mass on a EMTB with Zeb/SD and in both instances the spring/compression/rebound were set correctly, the EMTB would arguably feel smoother over bumps, but this is due to the extra inertia of the sprung mass. If you scaled the sprung/unsprung mass so the ratio was the same for a MTB and EMTB, I would expect the EMTB would still feel smoother. The suspension would be working much harder to control the higher mass but as far as a well damped feeling, I think the EMTB would still come out tops.
Has MTB tech resulted on just copying the ADV market?
- USD Forks
- cush cores
- tubeless
- Risers
In todays episode of How fucked up is my weight fucked up..
Another click bait video, sweet
Hes so hard to listen too, needs to be more excited.
How heavy are those microphones? Most overbuilt mic stands ever 😂
In answer to the title of this video ....... GAWD I HOPE NOT!!!!
Bla…Bla…Bla… get rid of that guy!! PB is dying…😖
Yep !!!
I like Henry when he’s himself and in his element. His dry, self loathing British sense of humor works and he usually has good reasons/excuses for his less than popular opinions. This show though, it feels like it’s trying to be the gmbn shows I avoid. It’s just not good, no chemistry, no flow, very “Logan’s road house” vibe if that makes any sense.
Jeez, what's the problem?
WWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAT happend to ýour hair !!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????????????????
Damn, I can't stand them both. I can't watch it.
