Yo where i can send you a pm?🤟🏼
Watching these videos increased my respect for the Portuguese even more!! What monuments to 'Peoples Power'!!!
Viva la revolucion!
22:15 That's D. Pedro I, king of Portugal and first emperor of Brazil
Thanks for the info!☺️☺️
It's D. Pedro IV (Peter the fourth) of Portugal and D. Pedro I (the first) of Brazil. Fun fact: he renounced both thrones. First he renounced the throne of Portugal to be Emperor of Brazil, wich he himself, as the liberal he was, led to independence (Brazil used to be a portuguese colony); he renounced in favour of his daughter, D. Maria II (Mary the second) who was still an infant, seven years old. So, to rule the country until she'd become of age, he appointed his brother, D. Miguel (Michael). It so happens that said brother was an absolutist, closed the Parliament and appointed himself as king, literally robbing the throne from his niece. It was then that D. Pedro forfeited also the throne of Brazil (being succeeded by his son, D. Pedro II) and came to Portugal, declaring war to his brother, to defend the rights of his daughter and also the ideals of liberalism.
OMG!!! How can people let these places go abandoned? They are works of art. The furnishing are beyond anything they make today-the craftsmanship is amazing. Please continue to take us to more palaces. Love your videos-best on you tube.
15:43 COVID-19 says, “hi Bob!” 😂
great video, as always
That furniture would catch a hefty price if it was restored and sold absolutely amazing woodwork.
Can't wait to see that mall, hope you all get a lot of footage!
Amazing exploration with some very beautiful locations!
Wow, these are some beautiful locations! Keep up the good work guys!
Some great and amazing places again Bob! Looks like you're having fun in Portugal :) I love the furbished places :D
One thing that I really love in your videos is that you leave no trace. You enter, film, and leave. Nothing stolen or left behind.
For urban entries, like when you had to go on the scaffold. Why don't you take a couple of sets of workmans overalls and borrow some safety hats. If anyone saw you, they'd think you worked there :D :D
Plus, would love to see more of the palaces. Such beautiful workmanship in them.
Mind blowing. I love these videos! Yes! More palaces. 😃
Pretty excellent soundtrack to this one. It really fills the big empty spaces.
WOW!!! Maravilloso!! Saludos desde Argentina
These are some serious beautifull locations
Yikes, never a dull moment! I'm glad you are having fun and seeing lots of epic locations. Always wishing you safe travels! OMG those crazy bats🦇🦇🦇🦇 I'd absolutely love to see more palaces if you safely can film.
I'd love to know the history on why such a beautiful place would be abandoned. It's hard to imagine!
The Goverment cant keep up mantainning them and restore them all, they are too many!!!
Just to give you an idea, the place I live, each neighbourhood used to be a farm of a Lord,so each neighbourhood has at least one palace or huge Mansion! Some were restored and reused, others were occupied by homeless or are just a nice place to make a barbecue with some friends :/
recently they made a new law so people could buy some of those buildings if they restore them!
Ótimo vídeo..top demais mesmo 😃👍 gostei
Great video guys!
Wow, the beauty inside that building. Hope they keep the beauty even though they converted to apartment
Oh...my Holy God! What a powerfully it was the European ancients !!!!! I cant imagine all that age of wonderfull and epic and too centuries of love and efforts too
This is the most extreme urban exploration I've seen hats off to you guys 🤘🏻
Thanks Tazuman, you should check out the episode “top 10 most dangerous adventures”

Thank you very much for great video and Turkish subtitles.
Teşekkürler harika video ve Türkçe altyazılar için.
Thank you
Nice video like always, thanks to share these beautiful places to everybody.
But concerning the bats you should't put a flash on them, it could be critical for the specimen or the entire colony.
Witam super w eksploracji 🙌👍, good video Urbex
The palace with the king's suit was awesome; explore factories and other military defenced areas
No way! I walked in front of the palace number 1 every day before the work when I lived in Portugal hahaha
Ah, a coincidence☺️ now you know how it looks☺️
Very beautiful places hope you will find more like these, and no guards :-)
Explore the "Forte da Laje" in Brazil! Abandoned base on an island near Rio de Janeiro
Yes!... my girlfriend would love more footage of palaces and the like. I agree of course... 😇😇
Hey Bob! Keep it up! Will Eelco be returning in a future episode?
I guess he will.. strange times now with covid
It's a shame that in my country loads of historical palaces are in ruins...In an old culture as the Portuguese our patrimony is in complete decay... :(
You could stay for a full year and still miss some abandoned interesting place to visit... :)
Big and old building man, in Indonesia we have many misterius building 👍
All that beautiful furniture needs to be restore and give it a frest start and new life in someone's home. I would take it if nobody wants it.
20:49 looks like a Portuguese navy officer uniform from the early 19th century.
Like in many countries across Europe, many rich families lost their fortunes and presently their heirs don't have the money to renovate and care for the property and this is what happens, there are hundreds of these "small" palaces for sale across Portugal waiting for the right buyer, some of them are real bargains, had I the money to invest would buy one and renovate it into a small boutique hotel.
I’ll take more palaces and villas
These palaces need to be saved before there completely destroyed!!
Imagine that place in its hay day
Saldanha ;-)
Did you really ask if we want to see more of this excellent stuff? Guess it's understood and goes without saying.
In what area is the second palace?
Would you please give us some history of these castles?
I did (voice over) For some palaces there’s not much to find.
💚👍♥️
Great work, although slightly disappointed in how little you showed of the firsr location. Wonder why it has not been converted into something yet? Hope you locked it up after you left!
This second palace is creepy as *uck.... Like if someone just left 200 years ago and never came back. Unreal ...
🇵🇭💖👍
That's D. Pedro I, king of Portugal and first emperor of Brazil...
:D

They could have moved so much easier and faster without those unnecessary tripods!
Yes.. but I’m a photographer 😂😬
What a waste, buildings could be used and the furniture could be preserved and reunited somewhere in a museum
They must not sell spray paint in Portugal.
You guys travel around just to explore, but good tho
21:25 Portuguese navel officers uniform and a navel travel chest, there looks to be near 200 year period of one family in that house you were in.
Portagul? As a portagulizina most people find it very difficult language to master. Imagine you have to get the right tone of gul speak along with German Russian a tad bit of Polish these are the accents that you have to combine into speaking Portugal.
How can you not take some of those things?? its abandoned history! donate to a museum?
Well you never know when you get stopped by or get seen by the police. Imagine their face when you say: I wanted to bring these items to a museum.😶
No entiendo porque subís los exteriores......🤮
You barely see any exteriors 🤷♂️ just of a palace where’s only the staircase left. 🥲
i do hope you dont remove or destroy anything .. tugs!! ffs
Yeah, real tugs with cameras :') ... Give me 1 reason why we would steal or destroy something?
Cork tiles in bathrooms were very common in the 70s. Before the widespread appearance of central heating and decent ventilation cold bathrooms and hot water meant your brand new paint job peeled off the walls really fast so everyone and his dog (well in Britain anyway) used cork tiles which insulated the cold walls and prevented the condensation... simples! :-)
These palaces are really something. Pena Palace down near Loule has ornate ceilings but not in that league!!!
Mind blowing. I love these videos! Yes! More palaces. 😃
