By the way, the reason Detroit doesn't have a subway system, is because it was determined to be not cost effective, given the large land area of the city (139 square miles) but also a low population for that size. The "People Mover" is actually an elevated rail system with limited coverage in the most dense areas of the city. In our series though, The People Mover will be a bus network that connects the whole place up! :)

Tried out this game the other day but didn't know how to change regions, watching your video has helped my not only find out how to do my hometown of Sydney but also get a better analysis of the game and how to play
the reason the maps are so good they use OpenStreetMap data to build the map in game
had to be something smart like that. :)

This seems quite cool. Regarding the different sized lifts not being able to lift the other sized bus, it's to do with the stress load of the carry arms and the reinforced areas of the bus not having sufficient overlap to make the job safe/possible. Thus small lifts for small buses and big lift for big ones

I think I’d have done the first route a bit differently. A bit longer, focusing mainly on the areas of higher density.

Make your tickets cheap so you sell more and triple your profit. Later on you need to expand your service center building and other buildings. I have the 5 drivers per bus route/ bus. They begin to get stressed which makes you loose money from riders. And you can use halls to build your buses inside. It will delete the bus space but you buy another slip/spot after you put it inside.
Most Busses have their engines in that back section, which is why you don't often see windows there.
True. In that case, it’s just a black block of paint. :)
in Europe engines are typically both mounted lower down and more compact allowing for back windows
Many US buses have that too, but it is limited because transit companies hate it being too difficult to work on, so the engine usually just goes under the rear floor, which then may have to have stairs for the rear entrance (but not the front).
Its using the google maps API so its very accurate

Can you choose any place in the world or is it just set destinations in a list that you can choose from?
Pick a spot any spot. I’m sure there are some limitations, like locations without many roads, deserts, the ocean, Arctic, etc. But mostly.. yeah, it generates realistic maps of where you want to start.
