Yeah that sucks, literally impossible to build with water.. and there is no other way to have quays😩

@@imperatur I saw another CZcamsr (forget which one) figured out that if you create a flat pad with the terrain tools under the water, the Quay walls build a lot easier than if the land just slopes into the water. So, the key (pun intended) is to make a flat pad of land at the lower height and a flat pad of land at the top height and that seems to make quay walls every time. You can then go back over the terrain with the smoothing tool afterwards if you want.

God that footage of the highway at the beginning just looks phenomenal.. and all of it made with vanilla in game assets, no mods. This game is going to be legendary.

The ease and routine you see while Imperatu build quays, walled highways and on and off ramps. It seemed so easy in CS1 but even more so in CS2. Wonderful speed build. Looking forward to lots of videos from you after the posting restrictions are lifted. Truly amazing and awe-inspiring!

It’s incredible seeing them implement features with road building that would’ve only been possible with a frustrating amount of mods or janky building tricks never looked smoother

It is crazy to see, how your skill to build in this game evolves. In the beginning we can see how you struggle with the new game, the new menus and so on, but after 20 minutes you make it your game. And you can even see that in the city und how the districts builded later are improved by your skills. Just awesome to watch how you grow and your city does, too. Just keep it up, man!
Amazed at how well you already seem to know the game and it’s tricks! Truly the best! I do wish that CO would change the cattle fields, the random barns look so weird in what looks like a grain field…

What do you mean? The graphics look good... People said CS1 was too cartoony. So with mods people dulled the lighting to greyer tones. Now that's also not good?
I've so far done my best to avoid spoilers and even early gameplay of most new games I'm even potentially excited for and then waiting and seeing if the game's actually any good before buying it. CO has thoroughly impressed me, and your design skills make the best of every new capability CO has offered you. You continue to impress with your bloody amazing cities!

Es ist unglaublich schön und funktional, gute Anschlussmöglichkeiten, ein guter Stadtplanungsplan, tolle Infrastruktur, Sie haben die Bahnlinie ganz cool an einem Hügel entlang geführt, damit die Schienen nirgendwo mit der Straße in Berührung kommen und den Transport nicht behindern!!! Ich kann es einfach nicht ertragen, wenn Leute mitten in der Stadt Schienen bauen, die die Straße überqueren, es ist einfach schrecklich, aber deine ist einfach perfekt! du bist so cool!

Love this and the way it looks, also something i notice is the traffic i see less people driving or using the highways..........
I am amazed how easy and convenient to create roads - grids, ramps, highways, exchanges, all sorts of crossings. CS2 really stands on the shoulder of a giant (CS1).

This is awesome. Expressway that runs below the city with the retaining walls reminds me of 676 The Vine Street Expressway in Philly where I’m from.

Wow loving the terra forming u achieved here. What are the water physics like? Something not many have played with yet. I struggled so much in cs1 wiyh water, either trying to make lakes or adding river estuaries without creating problems in the main river. 😅

That new road tool system seems pretty nice
I love it! I wish the game had cul-de-sac function with the option for zoning or not, instead of just roundabouts to close off neighbourhood roads. My only little nit-pick however!
On the live stream I saw them moving the artist's mansion to a cul-de-sac. It seems that moveable building can go there, you just turn snapping off. It would have to be a smaller building.

Hi, I loved the video! Just one request: You mainly show building roads, which is fine, but it can be hard to follow where in the city you are right now. I would appreciate some footage of zoning the areas and building service buildings, showing some of the stats like employment, naming the areas, maybe some text to explain what they are. Just giving an opportunity to understand what you're building and what you're building it for. The city looks phenomenal, I would like to actually see some of it, not just the road layout
