I was. lol Silage is a type of fodder made from green foliage crops which have been preserved by fermentation to the point of acidification. It can be fed to cattle, sheep and other such ruminants. The fermentation and storage process is called ensilage, ensiling or silaging. Silage is usually made from grass crops, including maize, sorghum or other cereals, using the entire green plant. Silage can be made from many field crops, and special terms may be used depending on type: oatlage for oats, haylage for alfalfa (haylage may also refer to high dry matter silage made from hay).
I would definitely watch more of this if you choose to do more videos. I am watching another playthrough as well by someone who played the game that this is a sequel to (Farm Manager 2018) but I would definitely watch more because the concept of the game is one of my absolute favourites.
Looking good. I have watched probably all of the content for this game so far and for someone who says they have never played this type of farm game before you are doing great. One thing almost everyone is neglecting though is training. For instance you can save yourself 10% on the cost of gear for a couple of weeks of training...just saying. Please carry on though, you are setting a great example for beginners on the thought process that helps you succeed. Liked and subscribed.

I would like to water another 2 or 3 episodes as you get the farm running. I imagine it would get rather redundant after that, but I would watch to find out.
the staff seems to have filled that entire silo with his/her hands alone. they don't use farm trucks in this game ? they also dont use time for silage to ferment ?
One advantage of dairy only is as you're not killing any livestock you can breed them which I think gives you more cheaper- hence production will increase as you grow size of herd. You can however do meat too but it does involve frequently buying new animals so some extra clicking. If it's like earlier version you can do fieldwork without tractors etc but it needs lots of workers and is really sloooooooooow.
I thought this would go slow, I was horribly incorrect please do more it's oddly satisfying watching someone just obliterate the pacing of a farming game
@@CharliePryor okei thanx! It looks (this far) just as a 'facelift' with slightly better GFX, the organic option and hopefully better performance, as the 2018 version struggled alot after a while, even on a quite beefy CPU. At the time anyway.
@@noc7ua also, interesting tidbit to throw out that is only partially relevant to this convo - 63% of my views on CZcams channel wide come from Desktop or TV devices, and 5% from tablets. Most users on CZcams may very well be using phones, but my channel has nearly 70% viewership on screens larger than 9” based on those stats. :)

I would say I am curious about a playthrough on this game. It is a builder game but clearly of a different type than what I watch normally.

Its funny cause those arnt milk cows and the only way you can milk a cow is if they have a calf. So you should have a bunch of babies you could sell.
